    Depends on what I'm doing. On the average, much more than 15 to 18 and I'll call if for fun jumping, unless I'm doing something specific like organized big ways, CRW, etc. As for work jumps (Tandem/Video) that tops out at between 25 and 26 MPH (or when AWOS reports better than 22 knots) and no more than a 8 knot gust factor. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     Why? The strong turbulance of the suit does not provide a clear launch of your PC. Assuming the same bridle length and P/C construction/size how is there any difference in launch? ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Really? Explain that. And I've found many wingsuiters who do things different, just to be different. I've got just about 400 wingsuit flights, and packing "grommet up" for 40 to 50 did not change the openings one bit, and on many containers increases the risk of damage, snags, or malfunctions. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     I pretty much agree they are not a real good idea. And as for the grommet up thing, there's no real reason I can see for using it. There have been fatalities int he past that involved not packing/closing a container to manufacturer's specifications. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     EWW!!!! I am never doing a raft dive with you!!! If thats the way you feel about it then i suggest staying away from both rafts, the packing mat, bunks 4,5 and 6, the RV park, the campground, and one of the benches in the loading area. (And I'm not going to tell you which one!) And every jump plane in America. Heard (and meant it) on Sunday morning after the boogie while loading up for load one "I am NOT riding up in the wet spot!" ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     Some more blah, blah for you. In my first Swoop Meet (that's still what it was called in '01) I place 17th out of more than 30 on a Stiletto. One of 3 non cross braced in the meet.     Honestly I wouldn't have had PD do the destructive testing on it. PD is very strict about their guidelines for what they will call "airworthy" and while that's a good thing I've had more than one person lose their minds when they had PD "test" their canopy to destruction. The canopy was probably airworthy, and capable of many more jumps. I'd say the obligation lies with you, you had the test done, you pay the price. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
