No Shit, dude!!! I can't wait for that movie to come out. I'm not a big Keaneu (sp) Reeves fan, but the story behind the Matrix was incredible. I remember walking out the movie theatre after I saw it for the first time thinking, "well....maybe it could happen...." Then I watched it about 50 more times and just saw a new perspective every time I watched it. Used to bug by friends and roommate crazy when I'd turn to the movie after they knew that I watched it a bazillion times.

I'm thinking that I might do the priceline.com thing..... Does it matter that I get in at Midnite and leave at 10PM ?? Ummm..NO I usually do that way when it's not important what the times are as long as I get there in one piece. Check 'em out... I bet you save over 50% of what you have been quoted so far. - L8 Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

I'd give Clay a pen full of tranquilized sheep so he can have his way with them. I'd also hook Viking up with a Hooker and tranquilize him so he can't run away.

That is the jump that I always remember as being my highest. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

OK rather than post another thread about Eloy Stuff ( per BBs request) I want to start a thread that has everyone's arrival dates and times so that the rest of us who have not made plans can maybe plan our trips so that we can double or triple up etc... on rides to and fro the airport. So post your times and dates and then the next person copies and pastes it into another e-mail... You know the drill... It would be a big help to me and I am sure other people. BTW , do we have a more recent count of who's going ? Maybe we can create one list of people with times and dates next to their name.... hmmm ?? - corn EDIT: Hey BB, how about updating the list on the top of this thread so peeps don't have to scroll through the whole thing to see who is going ? Well, I did a tandem first, but I would not call that learning to skydive. I just did it because I wanted to. AFF taught me how to skydive. I was actually paying attention during that part. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, BB. I had two of those today. Our spotter is known for not making the wrong call, but shit happens - twice My hands were sore from hanging onto those mothas for a good 3-4 minutes to get back. Edit: Actually, these spots were early, not late. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

2:6:1 Did 3 FF jumps on Friday practicing my SIT. Then did 3 RW jumps today with the big boys and re-learning how to fly. Still waiting for my RW suite to come back modified with wings and a few things fixed. Other good news: My GF did her AFF1 yesterday and loved it !!! WOOOOOOO!!! She is going back next Saturday to do her L2 and maybe L3. My first today - jumping without a helmet. I had geared up and was going through the dirt dive with the other person, and set my helmet down on the ground. I had already done one safety check and gear check before this and everything was cool. When I got out to the plane, I did another gear check and realized that my helmet was not on my chest strap or in my hand, so I asked a fellow skydiver (name withheld to protect the innocent) "What should I do ? " Honestly if he said go back, I would have. If he said pull off the load, I would have. But no, my good friend ( you know who you are and I am just telling my 'No shit, there I was' story ) said "you'll be fine" or something along those lines. The jump was uneventful as far as that goes, but I did get a little ass chewed out by the S&TA guy when I got down on the ground... Ooops, I doubt I will do that again. BTW - Anyone know how to add a jump to a ProTrack, so I don't have to reset the damn thing ? There has to be a way to just add a jump without losing all my data. Anyone ? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

raises hand in back of the room, trying to hide and blend in with the other drunk skydivers. [steps out of closet] My name is Matt and I am an Addict.... I had 9 years in August. Yeah, yeah - now you all know why I don't drink. Been there, done that... crank, pot, coke, LSD, pills, anything else tasty... Although alcohol was not my drug of choice, it does not bother me to be around others that drink it. Now however, if they start lining up the shit on the packing mat or mirror, then I would definitely have a problem and leave the area. The smell of GANJA in the twilight hours is nice, but anything closer to that, and I get a bit uncomfortable. [steps back in closet] Ok, someone pass me a beer please and quit hoggin the J man, pass it around! Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! heh, that about covers it. He sounds like a great dog, unfortunately I am looking for a puppy < 18 months. They are easier to train and the bond has not been set in stone yet between the owner and the dog. That is great that he is socialized with so many humans and animals. He should be able to get along with anyone or any other dog. Let me know how things work out for you and Sabre. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Some good things in this thread, but I would ask many people to make a wise decision. Trial and error also works, but I would not recooment it. I'd personally worry about falling on your face rather than your ass. Watch out for the TOE side catching the snow. I'd rather have a sore butt than a broken nose or busted wrist trying to stop the fall. I speak from some experience and stupidness... I have broken both my wrist and elbow snowboarding. This is someone's opinion only. I started off wearing step-ins and rode them for a couple years and then swtiched over to strap-ins. Honestly, there was no difference in performance. The only difference is in comfort and ease of use. On a nice cold day, you can step in and out of the step-ins a lot faster than strap-ins. Whle you are waiting for your buddies to strap in , you're already halfway down the run hitting those table tops with blind 180's. However, on a warm day those step-ins will be horrible because they will be clogged with frozen/wet snow. Taking time to clean them out becomes a pain after 10 times in one day. I agree completely with this subject. Honestly Nate - You gotta ask a lot of people and then get familiar with the equipment before dropping a few grand on hot-new-shit. Same with skydiving gear, in some ways. If you are out in NorCal this winter, look me up and we'll head up to Tahoe for the weekend. And definitely take a lesson. Yes, you can learn most of the stuff from trial and experience, but you learn it a lot quicker with someone showing you how to do it correctly. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Actually that is not true. Malamutes and Huskies are both Working Dogs. That is the class that they belong in. Rig up a hitch of some sort and throw it on Sabre and he'll pull it around the yard. These dogs are known for working hard in the snow. So tell me a little about Sabre. How old is he ? How much does he weigh ? Neutered ? You mentioned he likes to jump fences...how high ? How is he around other dogs and people ? Has he been socialized with kids and people ? I have been thinking about getting a companion for Kayla (Lord knows she don't like cats ), and getting a puppy/dog from a friend might be just the ticket. And last but not least... are you really serious about giving him up or is this just a phase you're currently going through and could possibly find another solution ? - Matt Butthead: Whoa!
