Is the date for the formation loads, the 29th or the 30th ?? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Know what ?? BTFU BIOTCH!!! 2 questions ... 1, what is a grabbers wrist grip ?? and 2, how the hell can you see that close ?? I zoomed in on the pic and found a few other errors. In the square, you see that [EDIT] HE actually NEVER had a grip to begin with HIS left hand, but I think Deuce just snapped the frame right before HE made the grip. In the circle, she was grabbing onto the dude's rig and not a gripper. And in the triangle, you see that there are two people reaching for the same gripper. hehe Wait til the video comes out. That shows it all. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Glad to hear that things went well after the accident and nobody was seriously injured. One thing that always freaks me out about a side collision is this.... when you were plowing into the guy, did your eyes meet for a split second or two while you were pushing him outta the way ?? I wonder what the reaction would be... would it be "Oh shit" then "Muther F@#$ER!!" or "Muther F@#$ER" then "Oh Shit" LOL Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Another thing that's recommended is not to use detergents that have Phosphates in them. These tend to be more harsh on the colors and make them bleed more. I got my new Tony suit a couple weeks ago and they shipped it with a few notices on how to wash it: cold water with bleach-free and phosphate-free detergent. I had a bad grass stain on my suit from a jump over the weekend. I threw it in the washer with a half-cup of Spray-n-Wash brand detergent and a capful of Downy and it came out looking great as well as feeling a little more broken in and softer cause of the fabric softener. One thing they do mention which I did not know: " Colors may run if left to sit. DO NOT SOAK." They also recommend tumble dry on cool setting. I like the idea of "fixing" it by tye-dying it. I would do that if my jumpsuit suddenly turned pink...LOL And someone mentioned something about sending it back to them to get fixed...ummm...NOPE. They are not responsible for running colors. They might be able to help reverse the process but I wouldn't hold my breath if you're waiting for a new suit. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Here are just a few pics from the jump. A group photo minus the vidiots, the "money shot", and one happy skydiver. And it appears as if we had a 9-way not an 8-way. I'll post the video as soon as I get it...probably Thursday. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

GOSH, thanks Deuce !! It was only an 8-way, huh ? I thought we got everyone in there except one, which would have made it an 9-way. Yeah, that video ought to be fun to watch. Lets see, I got taken out by a meat missile, then recovered and the formation slowly built, then I almost got taken out on landing when some dude cut me off during my final approach, and finally got my landing and everything else on video. WOOHOO!!! And Lummy, you're not the only one mad at me....Seb's mad cause I didn't go down to Hollister to do it down there. You and I think alike cause I actually wanted to put together a huge ass hybrid dive, but it was suggested by a LO that there were not many good hangers that would be able to pull it off. So instead, I asked Mad John to help put it together and it was a blast. BTW, I think you still got a pie coming, don't ya ?? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! 1:6:1 6 jumps if you count the 3 I did on Thurs I did my 100th jump today!! WOOOOHOOO!! and my 101st!! The 100 jump was an attempted 10-way with 2 camera flyers. We were supposed to turn 4 points then end with a BFR, but that didn't happen. Instead we just formed the 9-way by 6 grand with 1 point. However, DEUCE and another camera dude got it all on video and I will be posting it pretty soon when I get it converted. My 101st was a nice sunset hop-n-pop from 10 grand. I saw the most beautiful sunset that I have EVER seen and landed when the sun had been down for about 5 minutes. Yes, I bought my case for my 100th. If any Byron people see this, you know who you are and THANKS !! Sorry Seb, for not showing at Hollister. I'll do my 200th down there!! Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Indeed, that would scare me immensly. Has this actually happened and what would the results be ? Would the reserve just not open, or would it eventually open ? And I take it that this is an apprentice mistake and experienced riggers usually count their tools afterwards, right ? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! You'd probably get more responses and votes if you had a "I QUIT" voting option.....that's what I'd vote for anyway. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

That is good that you found the owner or the owner found you. But what if he never came looking for him or you never found the owner ? Tell you what I would have done, right away - Taken him to my vet to see if he had a microchip implanted. A lot of pets have this microchip, including mine, to help identify them if they get lost or stolen. It's pretty painless for the animal and cheap. Most people know around here that if they find a stray, to take it to the vet or call animal control. the first thing animal control does is wave their wand over the pet to see if it picks up on the chip. If it does, then they can make a call right away to find out who the registered owner is. If it does not have a chip, they will either take the animal to the pound (sad, I know - but owners will usually look there first ) or they will let you keep the animal for a short time to see if the owner is maybe a near neighbor. Glad to hear it was a happy ending. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

I chose option D ( Yes, I'm hardcore BRING IT ON with no cable!) because if I am going to get on the outside of a plane, I am pretty damned sure that I going to be wearing my rig. And if I fall off.....um, what's the problem again ? Isn't that what we do anyway ? Just adding a little sumthin different to the mix. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! I know of one....I think you and me both know who that is, Seb... Funny thing is, he taught me how to pack my main and I have never EVER (knock-on-wood) had a problem with any of my openings yet. I trust the guy completely and would continue to have him do my repacks if he didn't have to relocate to another dz. By the way, tell him I said HI, Seb. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! A woman was shopping at her local supermarket, where she selected a quart of milk, a carton of eggs, juice, and a package of bacon. As she was unloading her items on the conveyer belt to check out, a drunk standing behind her, watched as she placed her items in front of the cashier. He said, "You must be single." The woman, a bit startled, but intrigued, looked at her four items on the belt, and seeing nothing particularly unusual about her selections said, "Well, y'know, that's right. But how in earth did you know that?" The drunk said, "Cause you're uglier 'n shit." Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Ok, here's the story.... My girlfriend has started doing her AFF a few weeks ago. She is currently up to AFFL3 as of last weekend. So before her first jump she tells me that she is "Just doing it once to see if she likes it." She does, and she decides to do it again "just because she always does things twice." So now after doing two jumps, she is telling me that she does not want to jump ever again She sends me this e-mail yesterday that has the following text in it from a conversation beween her and her friend: Friend: "hey heard you tried to jump on sat and sun.....you're a junkie!!!! " GF: "tried and tried but the stupid rain got in the way. " Friend: " so now you have to play hookie, you're still a 'junkie'! " GF: "wednesday or thurs! yeah yah! " (stating when she plans on jumping again) blah...blah...blah... This is the reply that gets me.... GF: "I can still go to the dropzone that morning and do a couple of jumps. I don't think I'll graduate by then but if I don't keep failing, I'll be in good shape. " WTF ??? She is telling me that she doesn't want to jump again, but yet she is telling her friends that she can't wait till she graduates!!! I confronted her about this ( of course she showed me in the e-mail she forwarded to me ) but man... why is she in denial ?? Anyone else experience this or have a S/O that has done the same thing ? do they this so they won't hurt your feelings if they decide not to continue jumping, or what ??? BTW - it's all cool with her and I . She is playing hookey on Thursday and we are going to the dz to jump!!! Hear that Deuce ?? Be there!! Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Dude, I have seen GnR 3 times now. Twice with Aerosmith and once with Metallica. All three times, Axel was late coming on stage. It's a trend with him and it probably will continue for as long as he is around. I have to admin, GnR is one of my favorite bands. I have or had at one time all their albums including the bootlegs. They are playing the new years eve show here in San Jose. It is a toss up between seeing them play or staying overnite in Eloy!! Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! So what is normal cabin pressure on a commercial airline ? If it's different, can you ask the pilot every trip ? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump -
Does anyone know of a good web site or other information base that details the different RW moves, positions, and docks ? For instance, a buddy of mine was organizing a 4-way a few weeks ago and he started talking about zippers and accordians and half-accordians or half-zippers, etc.... Is there a place that has all these terms in one place so that I can study them and not feel like such an idiot when skilled RW people are trying to tell me how to do these things ?? Edit: BTW, I understand that 4way.org has plenty of diagrams showing the randoms and block formations, but I want to know HOW to get into these positions from - say a round. For example, if I wanted to know what a donut is, the site shows me what it looks like, but I am unsure how to get there from the basic round (such as : turn right and grab leg gripper) or some info like that. Any ideas ?? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
