    Besides, where is it logged on the reserve/pdc? The only reserves that I've seen that require you to log the jumps are PD reserves. Other than those, how else are you supposed to know?     This upsets me... I am more than willing to have someone watch and help with an I&R for no extra fees, and I may even buy pizza for them. Most jumpers don't give a flying f HOW the gear works, they just want you to do it for them. Going after the dz... still doesn't seem right in my eyes. I don't care if it was dz gear, or if the rigger owned half the dz, it was a rigging error, not a dz error.     If they're going after the rigger, ok... I can see that (sort of, student didn't pull, so there was more than one link in the chain). However, going after the DZ, come the fuck on... that's just chasing money. Tell me, what could the DZ have done to see the misrouted closing loop? Maybe you think that only that DZ's rigger should be packing the gear that is jumped there by anyone (tandem, fun jumper, students) so they can be held accountable for it. Other than that, they see my seal on it, they know it was packed by a licensed rigger. You can't tell if the loop is routed correctly thru the cutter when the rig is closed/sealed.     I have a PD 160PDR that has an attachment point but this specific canopy was built as a demo. I have never seen any reserve canopy ( other than the early Ravens ) that have the attachment as a standard feature. But I do not know everything about all gear; in fact, some days I think I know very little. JerryBaumchen It must have been the Raven reserves that I was thinking about, one jump as the main was what I recalled being told. You've forgotten more than I can hope to know for a long time to come!     IIRC (and don't hold me to this, as it's second hand info) SOME reserves came with a pilot chute attachment point so you could jump it as a main once or twice and still be packed as a reserve. I could be way off here, but that's what the riggers I worked with for my ticket told me... and well... take it for what it's worth.     I would be all for it if they supplied an accurate barometer to the riggers. Who is "they"? I have a lot of money invested in my tools. Nobody supplied them to me. I am sure you are no different. So, if that is part of our craft, if that's what it takes to do the best we can on behalf of our customers, won't you get the tool you need? Depends how much they cost. I don't pack many rigs, and yes, my tools were expensive, but they can be used on all the rigs I pack.     Believe it or not, I've seen people chug gatorades and say they're hydrated... I can't really stand the taste of the regular ones, the G2's are way better IMO. I never could drink a regular one without washing it down with water. Our medics would tell us to mix the gatorade 50/50 with water, so you're getting the electrolytes AND the water.     It drives me crazy when I see people put soda or tea in their kid's sippie cups! I also don't think schools should have soda machines either. The messed up thing is most of the juice on the market is almost as bad as soda Hell, when I was a kid, we got a little bit of soda with dinner SOMETIMES. During the day, when we got thirsty playing outside... well, you knew where the water hose was. Never did figure out what that metalic taste was from though.     I just sold my main via Mike G (Chutingstar). Pretty straight forward process, they inspect it, tell you what he thinks it's worth. If you agree, he posts it, and sends you a check when the deal is done. (less 10-15% iirc) If you don't agree, pay the inspection fee, and have it sent back to you. ETA: You can also use that inspection report in your sale if you decide to sell it on your own.
