  1. Marijuana, for Beatnicks and musicians! Cocaine, for wealthy whites. Saturday night specials, for white mobsters I see your point. Chuck
  2. 1 - Everything in DD world is a result of racism and corporate and individual greed. 2 - War on Drugs is a subset of "Everything" therefore.......... I knew that! I was just testing you! Causes me to wonder about his true feelings in regard to race. Chuck
  3. How were you able to draw that conclusion? Chuck
  4. That reminds me of when I was in 8th. grade. I had a history teacher who was a damned good teacher and demanded our full attention. About half way through class, one of the guys, seated in about the center of the class, had his head resting on his folded arms and snoring like a chain-saw. Mr. Wilson saw this and very quietly motioned for the kids between him and sleeping beauty to get-down. They did and the teacher slung a history book, binding first at the snoring student's head. The book struck it's mark and 'Sparky' came-up swinging. Mr. Wilson, calmly but firmly told him to wake-up, sit-up straight and pay attention! He had all of our attention for the rest of the year! If, a teacher did that today... the teacher would probably be in a penitentiary somewhere. Chuck
  5. Some mutant off-spring of Dr. Spock followers. Hell, I don't know. I guess, parents would rather have their children staring at a computer screen, eating 'cheezy poofs' all day long. Carpal tunnel syndrome is far better than exploring fields and creeks and playing sand lot baseball or God forbid... rugby! Chuck
  6. How is a kid supposed to be a kid? Adults are taking all that away from them. What's next for kids... 'bubbles'? All this, coming from a place that brought the world 'hockey'? It's all, just nuts. Chuck
  7. To them, I say; "NO toys for you!!!" Chuck
  8. Irony meter: pegged. Riiight, with Amazon, a woman who equates disagreement with her political views with homosexuality, sodomy, pederasty, etc... It's like dealing with a Community College freshman with Tourette's. WAH WAH WAH... Its FROMAGE time counselor... Oh. for the record. I only equate things I see with observations of a lifetime of watching what once was a party that actually believed in morality... smaller government and fiscal responsibility, that has now devolved to a bunch of morons who only pay those values lip service.. and seem to indulge in all the things you list with near abandon... In other words.. SUCK it up cupcake... Wow! He's really full of himself, huh? Chuck
  9. But the Pappa burger stays? What an outrage, a double standard! Men just don't get any respect these days... Ain't that the truth! What is politically incorrect about a 'teen burger'? I think, the 'politically correct' folks are trying to make some kind of fantasy world with everything just 'nicey-nicey'. Poor, ignorant, little people. Probably, scared of their own shadow, Chuck Sorry but those dissappeard long long ago Chuck. I always used to savor driving down out of the mountains after a long long day of hunting and being just too damn tired to go thru cooking in camp.. so I would hop in the big ole 4x4 and drive the 40 miles from the camp into town... to AW for a Grandpa Burger..... Given all the factors at the time I still remember those as some of the very best tasting burgers in the world. Well worth the 40-mile drive! I always thought of A&W as a 'family' type drive-in. A place where you took a date after a football game. Took the kids on a hot summer day for a root beer. The idea of Grandpa burgers and teen burgers, added to that. Oh well... Chuck

  11. Political correctness has gone too far! My wife and her sister, are spending a few days visiting their home State of Oregon. Yesterday, they were out sight-seeing when my wife spotted an A&W Root Beer drive-up. This was not one of those combination A&W/Long John silvers places but a 'real' A&W. My wife asked why the 'Teen Burger' and the 'Momma' Burger weren't on the menu. The voice on the other end of the speaker replied; "It was decided by the corporation that they were not 'politically correct!" That's just wrong! Chuck
  12. Even my friends who are very republican (I'm more libertarian) call him Gov. Hair, or Gov. Pointy boots. He's pretty openly made fun of. Yeah... out for himself. Pretty clear. I'm with you, but unfortunately I think aside from one or two candidates that aren't getting much media coverage, "old guard" is all that's left. On both sides! We need more 'newbies' to step-up. As long as we keep voting the 'old guard' in, it's business as usual and we the people lose. Sometimes, experience isn't everything. edit to add: ...and really clamp-down on lobbyists!!! Chuck
  13. It shows that a dumb-as-a-rock Texas governor who can't string an extemporaneous sentence together couldn't possibly be elected President in a million years. Whenever I see Rick Perry, I just want to slap that arrogant smirk off his face! I'm convinced that Rick Perry, like so many other politicians is out for Rick Perry... period! We've been so controlled by the 'old guard' for so long, we don't know anything else. We need to 'clean house'! Chuck
  14. How's that intercontinental railroad of Obama's doing these days, anyway? Did he ever get to that 57th state? Maybe he had a corps man take him there a key difference being that Parry was given two more chances to remember. There's a difference between a misspoken word and a brain fart. The question really is did Parry have a brain fart, or was he just not well prepared? And if the vast "pressure" of a debate frazzles him, do we want him negotiating with the leaders of Israel or Iran? I don't think he's taking these debates seriously. With his ego, I think, he feels he's 'got it made'. As of this morning, Perry has really slipped in the polls and Gingrich is even with Romney. Chuck
  15. Love that show! My wife and I won't miss it. We even watch the re-runs! Chuck
  16. Not a chance in hell, would I vote for Perry! I wish he wasn't the governor of The Lone Star!!! Chuck
  17. One thing about it... Perry took all the attention off of Cain! I didn't watch the debate but from what I've seen on various media sources, it was entertaining if not pathetic. People were left wondering if, Perry was drunk or maybe, 'high'! From the video clips I've seen, Perry looked quite pleased with himself while in actuality, looking much the bafoon. At one point, Perry held a gift bottle of syrup close to his heart and babbling uninteligibly. At one point, Perry brain-farted on the third agency he would do away with. Has this guy not heard of note cards? All in all, Perry's over-fed ego was quite noticible. He stated that he was glad he had his boots on because he 'really stepped in it!'. I would say so... he's the one who spread it! I'm thinking, he's just really trying to skirt the real issues with his antics. Someone really needs to wipe that constant smirk off his face. Chuck
  18. The wealthy don't want rules either. They don't feel they should have to pay taxes, either. They just know, they are 'so special'! Chuck Not so... The wealthy make the rules. Like being invested in TAX FREE bonds or T bills. They don't hafta pay taxes. Rules, ya know... Those sly devils! Chuck

  20. sounds like you've put a lot of thought into that little prison fantasy *eye roll* Nah. Just amused at the thought of some latte-sipping hipster who thinks he's a civil disobedient hero being attacked by a real criminal... sounds like a little bit of prison violence might turn you on... Not turned on--amused at the thought of Hippies being beaten senseless. If Bubba gives them a little surprise buttsecks, I would not lose any sleep. sounds like you have trouble getting to sleep with all these thoughts of 'bubba' pestering you... ...or wishful thinking! Chuck
  21. Noted. Of the three attorneys who routinely post here, you are the most easily amused (and probably the most likely to torture small animals). Blues, Dave He's a real hoot... ain't he? Chuck
  22. Git after it! What? You don't like Country Music? Chuck
  23. I'm sure, country music singers don't feel a need to sing about 'race'. They sing what sells... 'real life'. Chuck
  24. Based on some peoples posting styles... I do not doubt it one bit.... its kinda obvious that substance abuse is a very large part of their lives. Not that there is anything wrong with that if they want to take the chance of getting to know their local police far better than I certainly wish to know them in tha way. Me... I prefer my high to be ALTITUDE... either in a plane... in or or leaving it... or... mountains.. GAWD I love the mountains this time of year... ski season is almost here. Terhe was 2 foot of new snow up there on Sat when I drove up to check it out. Good Lord! That's just gorgepus country!!! Dope is stoopid! If, others want to do that shit, that's fine. I get my 'high' riding my horse and working cattle. Chuck Yup.. that is why I love it so... BUT... you can only see those mountains during the summer and a VERY odd few days in winter when a high pressure system sits over us and it gets clear.. and cold. Otherwise.. its overcast.. and lots of rain in the valley and HUGE amounts of snow where I took that picture from. A normal year... gets about 60 FEET of snow right where I am standing
