  1. The problem is that in order to raise the incredible amount of money needed to run for office, candidates have to "sell their soul". I am sure many start down the road with great intentions and ideas, but soon find out that to get to the finish they have to leave those intentions behind. I agree. The candidates with high aspirations, who really want to make 'good' changes and bring some sanity back to our government are soon eaten-up by those in control. It seems, those with high aspirations tend to lack the almost 'brute force' of those in power. What a sad commentary. Chuck
  2. And OF COURSE this latest bimbo's name is Ginger. Why, you ask? Because "Bambi" was already taken! Sounds more like the 'Women of Gilligan's Island'! Chuck
  3. I want a chief executive who is better at thinking on his feet. He doesn't qualify there! Something that bothers me is, we all know we need to 'change'. We need to get rid of the old guard... clean house. Every election year we get 'new candidates' who have nothing to offer and so, it's business as usual. Why, can't we get 'real' candidates who aren't self-centered, self serving, spin-doctors and not to mention 'half crooked'. What's a voter to do? Chuck
  4. The fact that he has problems with the 'questions of substance' is a better reason he's hit bottom than his philandering. The guy just doesn't have what it takes. Chuck
  5. Saw an AP story that said the woman who claims to have had a 13-yr. affair with Cain is also being sued by a former co-worker for libel! So far, none of the women who have 'stepped forward' with claims of sexual harrassment are not the most 'reliable' of people. Chuck
  6. I have watched that show and like you, find it moreinformative than 'Man, Woman, Wild' orthe other survival shows. In fact, I have my DVR set to record new episodes. Well worth watching! Chuck
  7. I wasn't able to pull-up the page you supplied but yeah, a rabbit. You know, those fuzzy little critters with the long ears and 'cotton' tails!? Chuck
  8. Yes, there is. Just Google "Native American Population 1492" We can assume then that you just pulled a number out of your hind end?[/repl ...and a rabbit, too! Chuck
  9. May I suggest... rather than sanding the stock, get some 're-finisher' as used on fine furniture and 0000 - steel wool. follow the instructions on the container. this will better remove the water stains and in the process, clean-up any dirt and grime from the wood. I've done this with some old shotguns and rifles my dad left me. For a finish, I used pure Tung oil. It's time consuming but the results are really good. Chuck
  10. Darwin was, once again, proven correct that day. Had it not been for Custer's enormous ego, it might have had a different out-come. Question; Why, when the Native People 'won' a battle with the Whites, it was a massacre? When the Whites 'won', it was a victory? Chuck Propaganda, nothing more. Early day 'spin doctoring'? Chuck

  12. Marijuana, for Beatnicks and musicians! Cocaine, for wealthy whites. Saturday night specials, for white mobsters I see your point. No, you clearly don't see my point. There is clear evidence that many drug laws were racist. From wiki: O.K. Chuck
  13. You know, I'm about tired of your twisting words just for the sake of arguing. Your arrogant, condescending attitude doesn't help your case, either. Chuck
  14. http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2040882,00.html[/repl That's his opinion. Everyone has one of those. Chuck
  15. There's another way to stop the "War on Drugs". The dopeheads actually stop using the stuff. Imagine how much that will decrease the violence, lower costs associated to fighting it and clean up some communities if there's a considerable drop in demand. . . Naah, the recreational users would never do that. Easier to push a "solution" that benefits them. Ya' nailed it! Some people just have a difficult time realizing... this ain't Burger King! You don't get it your way. Chuck
  16. As it stands, these are the laws we have to live with. Should they be changed? Probably so. What you don't seem to want to understand is, we the people can go through the 'process' and get the laws changed. If, people don't want to do that but would rather sit back and bitch about it, they get what they get. Chuck
  17. I don't take drugs but I certainly want the law changed, or in Canada's case, the proposed changes to not be implemented. Here is a good example of the stupidity of the law. Sending this guy to penitentiary is going to cost a lot of money and stands exactly zero chance of having a better man emerge than is going in. He has lost his career and will come out with no options. Quite likely he will still be addicted. The law, I'm sure, could usesome 'tweaking' as withmany of our laws. In fact, we have too many laws. Laws stacked on laws. I do believe, much more thought could be put into our laws. It seems that too many of them are just 'shots from the hip'. Chuck
  18. I don't have a problem with the law. It just seems to bother the self-centered dope-heads who have to have their daily fix. They're the one's with the problem! Chuck
  19. The truth of the matter is, we have laws. You break the laws you are dealt with accordingly. There must be laws or we have total chaos. All you people who feel compelled to continually compare the U.S. to Nazi Germany or Communist Russia... get real. If it's all that bad here... why do so many people from all over the world flock here? Come-up with something new. Chuck
  20. Maybe he's back in the saddle again with some lowlyJimson weed. That stuff is deadly to livestock! Chuck
  21. Lush Rimjob can get all the drugs he wants... so that he can rail against all those ethnic drug abusers. When you have the money and the celebrity, good things happen for you. Maybe, that's what those 'occupy' folks are 'really' protesting!? Chuck
  22. They all broke the laws. If, so many people don't like the laws... change 'em. Till then, that's the way it is, plain and simple. Chuck
