Shah, Great story! When I was in college (early 60's) I was just 19 and pledged a fraternity. We pledges were told to choose a 'big brother'. One of the seniors, a real sharp dresser and 4.0 grade average was the apparent choice. Since I had trouble getting 'C's', I chose Pete. Noone said anything about my choice and I had absolutely no idea he was gay. I was just green as grass! The guy was a complete gentleman around me but he really had an 'in' with the girls. I'd tell him who I was interested in and the next thing I knew... I had a date with that particular girl! The guy was a taskmaster when it came to studies and my grades improved. My folks thought he was the neatest thing since radio. Pete graduated that Spring and moved-off with his guy friend. My dating hit rock bottom after that. chuck

However, next time they air something like that it needs a disclaimer and a ten second warning. That way we have a chance to scramble for the TiVo remote and turn it on. You got that right! Chuck

I for one would think that it was their right and business. .... but not as photogenic (sorry to revert to type) ...and not all buff. Just a couple o' swab jockeys. Chuck

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02091/sailorKiss_2091645b.jpg I wonder... what the sentiment here would be if that was a picture of two men kissing? Chuck 1) Well it is the Navy, a ship full of seamen! 2) They are well dressed and wear bell bottoms! and 3) WOO HOO! Two less guys I have to worry about hitting on a girl I'm dating and even better! Two good looking well dressed well educated guys who know a lot about fashion who are not chasing girls! And I for one LOVE my gay friends! Why? Two words my straight shallow self centered brothers! Fruit Flies! AKA Fag Haggs! Yeah nothing like easy picking of long legged, flat bellied, amazing assed perky boobied hotties when your wingman is your gay friend! Now you conservatives may be more into the "robuts" "Rubniesque" "Well Built" woman but for us break neck liberals who love our women hot skinny and bendy...gays are the best tools for this kind of hunting! So feel free to get your boxers in a bind while me and my other liberal friend take our boxer briefs for a little spin around town using our gay friends as our wingmen to land EPIC quality puntang! You rascal! Chuck

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02091/sailorKiss_2091645b.jpg Yeah I am turned on thus I think this is a great idea! Ladies time for a Shah sandwich? Funny Shah fact...Lesbians like Shah...I have no idea why! I mean I'm am a self centered shallow bastard who has a slight vagina addiction but from all of my experiences, lesbians love the Shah and as such...I in my liberal nudist bhudist ways am OK with this! Interesting..... Me too. In my younger unmarried days, I dated several lesbians. Guess what.! They really weren't lesbian after all. I wonder... what the sentiment here would be if that was a picture of two men kissing? Chuck

J.R. you must be getting old & senile! Your posting has been getting better & better. By the way, as a red blooded american and someone who believes in the right to carry concealed weapons how many weapons do you carry at any one time? I carry 3, different calibers .45, .380, 40 cal, and different locations on my body. And YES, they're all legal. I even carry one to church when I'm home. I've alerted the pastor & parisioners as to what I'm doing so I won't get a call to the SO's office about brandishing if someone see's the thing in my 1/4 hip in a CCL holster. I've even had parishoners tell me I make them feel so much safer. I ask them to attend a CCL course, get fitted and stay strapped. But most of them wasn't raised on a military installion like I was. Exercise YOUR right to bear arms! My first concealed carry instructor is an ordained minister. He carries everywhere legal to carry... even behind the pulpit at Sunday morning services. Chuck

like most of us not a perfect human being - but he was the right person at the right time with access to the right information. it's good to see a little more light shone on the state and its secrets... Wrong answer! He was a depressed, attention seeking, un-trustworthy, who broke the rules. Now, it's pay-up time. Instead of leaking information, he should've sought help for his depression. People do make bad choices!! That's just what he did. Chuck

He acted totally irresponsibly! Manning, by his own admission, felt 'troubles' with the Army, his family and boyfriend. He was looking to be 'noticed' and struggled with the idea of releasing classified information. From reading about Pvt. Manning, he suffers from depression. For the heck of it, google Bradley Manning and check-out what wikipedia says about him. You and too many others are trying to make him some sort of hero. Either that or you're just keeping the pot stirred. Well, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. He failed to uphold the oath he took when he entered the Army... plain and simple. Chuck

Thank you, for taking the time to enlightening me. Chuck -
Nope. He sent out other stuff not relating to specific abuses also. If he really wanted to champion something. . . getting himself arrested, destroying his credibility, costing the taxpayers millions, and destroying the careers of servicemembers not involved with the "crimes" he was "exposing". . .definitely not the right way of going about doing things. He was only "championing" his own spoiled selfish bad attitude. he did what he could when he could how he could. what he did not do was do nothing... And this is where we differ. You believe he was trying to perform some sort of sacrifical whistle-blowing; my experience with these types is, they are in it for themselves and could care less with the "autrocities" being "exposed". They just want to throw a wrench in the gears because it's the only way they can be acccepted. Negative attention-getting. From what I've read about Manning, he definately has 'problems'. He's quoted expressing 'troubles' with the Army, his family and boy friend. He stated that he felt 'left-out'. I tend to agree with what you said in regard to his looking for attention. Had he done 'nothing' and just did his job, he wouldn't have his fanny in the crack it's in now. He had every intention of 'leaking' all the classified material he could. Chuck

i support acting responsibly - sometimes (as with my example) there is the greater good to consider... Like your drunk paramedic that's going to save thousands of lives at the accident scene? That's a scarey thought! Chuck I misquoted... hundreds, not thousands. Point still stands, however. In this case, one is as good as a thousand. Chuck

If I remember correctly it feels a little scratchy. Chipped teeth? Chuck

As I understand it, that oil will be sold to China if it is pipelined to Texas. I heard a spokesman for the oil producers here, say that "Right now, the Chinese are no longer riding bicycles, they're riding scooters!" What good is that pipeline going to do us? It appears to me, it's just going to make a few 'fat cats' fatter. Help me out here. Chuck -
I love eggs, but now that I'm over 50, I hardly ever eat egg yolks anymore, but have switched over to Egg Beaters at home, egg-white omelets in restaurants, etc. That, by the way, is upon the advice of a cardiologist, so I'll listen to that source first. Speaking of doctors... When I was 40, my doctor told me my blood-pressure was through the roof and lose some weight. I asked him for suggestions in regard to a diet. His words to me were; "If it tastes good... spit it out!" That'll get your attention! Chuck
