The more option you give him and the more gray areas you leave...the longer this drags out. Your logic or philosophy on war makes me cringe...truly. Where you get this stuff from scares me. Of course the rule in war is to win. Why engage in anything if your object is to get your ass kicked? But peace is the goal...no matter what. Now any country is free to have their own version of peace....the Axis certainly had theirs...but it is what they waged war for....their version of a peaceful world under their rule. How many times have Iraq's planes been shot down in no fly zones since the end of the Gulf War? How many times have we dropped ordinance on Iraq since then? It is obvious that SH really doesn't give a fuck about serious consequences! He doesn't think we will follow through. And everytime we go back to your version of diplomacy, SH is further convinced he has nothing to fear. He has been tap dancing around for so many years this is a fucking game to him. So we either A) do not care what he does, pull out and let the Useless Nations deal with it.....when their tap dance fails, they can come beg us for help......or B) WE, as in the U.S. offer SH a resolution...comply now or we kill you tomorrow. Anything less is insulting and meaningless. At this point I am all for ALL U.S. forces pulling out completely....let the rest of the planet deal with this shit. I'm real damn tired of the U.S. being the both the solution and cause of every problem in the world. Wrong. I'm 39, honorably discharged Marine, have been to more countries than most Americans have been to states, have family members on active duty. If you really want to call what Pat Robertson did as ties to Al Quaeda........thats messed up. Pat was trying to spread his religion...without blowing someone up to do it. Of the appoximate 100,000 Iraq casulties in the Gulf War, 85,000 of them were actual combatants......After BillVon's numerous references to this I did some digging and thats what I found. Every time Bill mentions it, it sounds like we killed 100K of women and preschool kids. I'll throw in the Cobalt and Comp Cobalt, my experience with the Cobalt has been great. I love every aspect of it's performance. I also highly suggest a Samurai as well. I put some demo jumps on a 120 at LP and was super impressed by it. If buying a canopy right now I would be hard pressed to choose between a Cobalt or Samurai. In the future when it's time to go crossbraced, my choice will be between Big Air's canopy or Atair's Onyx. But that is slightly off topic. JJ "Call me Darth Balls"

Another things that can cause holes is packing debris into your canopy. Catch a small pebble in your cells and watch the nice hole it will punch in the material. JJ "Call me Darth Balls"

I don't think so amigo.... We would treat any launched nuclear weapon as an act of war...with or without a shield in place. So launching already goes into WWIII, regardless of what our defenses are. No matter how good or bad the shield may be it's only purpose is to help protect the populace.....not to deter anyone from anything. The only thing that prevents other countries from doing something is the FEAR of our retaliation. The USSR openly said it, if they thought they could get away with it, they would have. It was the return stroke that prevented it. What the shield would cause is the fear in other countries that WE would be able to lanuch first without fear of counter action. Seeing as how we are dealing with incoming missiles, capable of killing thousands in one fell swoop, I'd take the chance that any one of them stopped would be a good thing. Yes, I'd like for it to be a better system before implementation, but stopping just one makes it worth while. Put it in place and continue improving it. In the movie "The Breakfast Club", there is a scene where Judd Nelson in crawling through the ceiling and as he is doing so he is talking to himself, telling a joke.
