Travis: I completely agree with ECVZZ. You suck!!! It was snowing in Dallas today and jumping was out of question ...
-
Tim, Thanks! I will. My hair is kinda short. Is Rymond good at shaving as well?

Huh That’s how us newbies get confused listening to wrong advices
-
Exactly! Reminds me my “mentor” who I think is very talented skydiver. It took him 18 jumps to graduate AFF. From my personal experience, I’d like to suggest to minimize the gaps between the jumps. Jump as much as you can and do not get pissed at yourself if you screwed up the level. In other words, do not think about mistakes that you have already made. Concentrate on positive thoughts and relax harder. AFF in tense but as soon as you graduate you’ll have megafun jumping by yourself! Good luck !

Thanks!

you forgot to waive off dude

With very little experience (graduated AFF last May) I already noticed that instead of concentrating on pull and mentally preparing for mal (haven’t had one yet) I more and more focus on analysis of personal performance during RW skydive. This tendency scares my a little since it is very easy to loose altitude awareness during this high-speed debrief. However I do it over and over again right after break-off and until pull time. What do experienced RW sky-dogs think about while tracking?

Wow! My teammates are onl-line I saw the sweet opening of your reserve last weekend

It is easy for me. My folks are in Russia and I’m in US. My mom simply doesn’t know about it. An idea about calling from Dallas to St-Petersburg after every jump during the summer to calm my mom down freaks me out Most of the whuffo friends think I’m completely crazy.

AFF ... and I still fly like sh!t ...

Congratulations again! We are all proud of you guys! It is nice to know that two or my teachers were on that 300-way skydive. It is definitely a greatest accomplishment in history of human flight. I immediately got drunk yesterday and when my whuffo friend showed up I tried to explane him why I'm so happy. He did not understand...

Talking about failures of mechanical altimeters … I accidentally dropped my Alti-II on concrete from 2ft last weekend. After that it still works but there is ~300-400 ft error. I also noticed that it doesn’t move smoothly in freefall. Is there a chance to fix this or re-calibrate? Thanks in advance

Commmmmmonnnnn! How come everybody forgets Cessna-182? Gives you a plenty of time to sleep @ relax on the way to altitude P.S. It is nice to see that Russian AN-72 is popular. Never jumped it yet but the plane looks like a big skydiving machine on pictures

Thanks for the pics, Chris. It is nice to recognize our yellow bird on your amazing sunset photo. Good luck to ya all and be safe!

Does anybody know some news about 300-way?

Both stories are quite funny but I seriously doubt that they are real.

My rigger told me that he cleans the cables every time he does reserve repack. He says it is fine to do it every several month and I do not have any reasons not to trust him. Thanks for the advises anyway, it is always nice to know the other people’s opinions about safety and gear maintaince. Blue skies
