  1. Not necessarily, have you seen Aggie's boobies?
  2. Why? That's a good question, what is the issue with experienced wingsuit jumpers doing night jumps?
  3. I hope they didn't pull an angelina jolie and run the leg straps through the rear air deflector hole..
  4. the one attached to the post i replied to - with you and the porcilin boobies :)
  5. i'm not gonna be there jan 3, but i'm up for some wingsuit night jumps before then if it's possible to get a load up before the 31st. Kevin
  6. So let me get this straight, you made the decision because : 1) It's a non-us product (okay that logic is somewhat understandable with car purchases, not sure about wingsuits) but i'll give you that one.. 2) Loic and his G/F are friends.. okay supporting friends that kinda goes along with #1, but okay 3) Price is good - okay another understandable deciding factor, price is always an issue 4) More practical: How so? Not sure I really follow that unless you mean "they have them in stock" or something, not sure 5) "I want to go to Reunion island to fly with Loic " Is having one of these suits the price of admission? 6) the video is killer: yes, the pieces i've seen are very awesome however this is why you're choosing this suit over another? I can't comment on this suit, I've never touched it flown it or have any other experience with it other than Lou's review on a simlar design. I can't say for sure, but based on what i've read I really don't see how it is a superior product to birdman. Loic is a bad ass flyer, of course the suit is going to look good when he's flying it. I know the birdman line has been "tried and tested" they are quality products and do perform, i don't work for birdman and it is the only line of suits i've jumped so far. Anyway, keep us posted - take plenty of pics, would love to hear your review.
  7. is that matter airwear or the other company? I get them confused. Why did you decide to go with that suit over birdman? Just curious.
  8. Not really a tough choice.. if you know how to fly your s3 (and have enough experience to be in an s3 for that matter) it's a great suit, especially for instructing. You can slow down and fly with a gti or speed up and fly with an s3.. i have no stability problems flying wiht a GTI in my S3 But to answer the question I have a GTI and an S3
  9. if I had a dollar for every thread this picture made it into.. hell or for every time it appeared in one thread :)
  10. What DZ is this? I'll bring my bracket and jump some smoke :)
  11. Sorry if this was already posted, didn't see it.. here MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (AP) -- A jet in the Air Force's elite Thunderbirds flight unit crashed at an air show Sunday, but the pilot ejected with only minor injuries and no injuries on the ground were reported. About 85,000 spectators looked on as one of the six Lockheed Martin F-16C Fighting Falcons performing crashed during the "Gunfighter Skies 2003" air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base, about 50 miles southeast of Boise. Capt. Chris Stricklin ejected safely and was taken to a medical facility on base. Air Force officials would not disclose his condition, though immediately after the crash he reportedly waved to spectators. According to witnesses, the jet was the last of six to take off and climbed straight into the sky. The pilot maneuvered the jet into a dive and steered toward the crowd. The jet seemed to suffer an engine failure when the pilot tried to pull up, witnesses said. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. The Thunderbirds unit has performed air demonstrations since 1947. The jets at the air show were from Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

  14. Out of Miss World Paul Sorene « Big Pic » Go on girl, get your semi-automatic out for the lads We live in dark times. The world is a more violent place than it was years ago, when doors could be left open and Germans would knock before parachuting down your chimney. These days good men like Tony Blair turn to violence as a first line of defence and Miss World’s indulge in thuggery and brute force. Azra Akin is the beauty queen in the Mail’s frame, and is seen in a state of mania throwing former Spice girl Mel C over her shoulder - a shoulder on which only a sash used to sit. Stuff saving the rain forest, being nice to impoverished children and saving dumb animals from a trip to the tailor’s - this Miss World means business. The result of this unlikely fight is that the one known as Sporty Spice has torn a cruciate ligament. Mel will take solace in the paper’s reminder that the same injury was inflicted upon Paul Gascoigne when he was thrown over the shoulder of Miss Bridlington 1997. But why the fight? “Why not?” indeed. But for Miss World to turn nasty some line must have been crossed. 15. Here is a pic of the Sugar Glider on Tom Aiello's site. I met Sean briefly in SA in May, he was testing a suit then. Since there was so much wing fabric that could cover the handle, he had a method of reaching all the way back and then sliding his hand along the bottom of the container until it reached the handle. Will If i jump my s3 boc i do that sometimes as well but I reach down and work my way back up to the container...
  16. I started out on c182s.. i still like jumping the occasionally, especially wingsuit out of them.. going out backwards out of a 182 (i.e. facing the tail and pushing off) actually makes the exit feel sorta like a heli exit.. you actually fall before you start to fly.. TB99 did his first Cessna jump at ballunar out of a 206.
  17. Oh I plan on having my BMI before the boogie is over with so you can add me too :)
  18. If you like digital altimeters, try the neptune. Advertising? No. just telling you what i like from my experience.
  19. Yes the Skyflyer "1" has a smaller leg stance making it a little less stable and "harder" to fly. The S3 is "harder" in a different way as the wings are larger and provide more force against your arms when you are maxing it out making it "hard" as well but not from a stability standpoint.
  20. A skyflyer or skyflyer 3? A skyflyer 3 isn't that twitchy, but there is more to deal with and pull time is more critical in a s3 as there is more fabric. Classics and GTIs are much more forgiving with body position, etc. S3 you have a wing which will cover your BOC. I'd recommend doing more jumps, if you can borrow a gti that would be good. I've read (but havent seen) of people doing their first jump on a s3 not sure I really recommend that though. As jari told me when I was jumping a s4 prototype suit, "don't get yourself killed" :-)
