I think the prototype yuri had was misbalanced with an enormous leg wing, i think that balancing issue has been fixed with the newest prototypes :)

Ah well I'm taking my dog, tank, to a pet behaviorist saturday. He has some severe seperation anxiety issues where he goes to the bathroom on the carpet in the apt, and has just recently broken through the laundry room door (literally). I'm the 3rd owner (he went through the police academy but was scared of guns) and this problem has gotton progressively worse.. now that i've bought a house, i don't want it carrying over there. We'll see what this behaviorist says on saturday, they can prescribe drugs (doggy valium).. anyone had similar problems? Tank is a german shepherd, seen here and here

Just out of curiousity did you do your research before you sent $$ over the wire? I.e. ask them if they could take a wire payment from the US? If so, and the answer was yes then have them deduct it from the price of the suit.. hell they may do it anyway just to "get you as a customer"

not sure what you mean, i dock with my s3 and let go of the grippers to do so.. yeah your flight performace changes a bit but shouldn't make things impossible. unless you sprout another hand I think it's tough to dock without letting go of 'em :)

The uspa was involved in putting the wingsuit section into the SIM here and I've been talking with them about a wingsuit rating. Basically you have to present it to the safety & training board in a proposal to get the ball rolling.

Doesn't work here either, if you save it to your HD and try and play it I get an error to do with your path.. It works for you because this file exists: G:\HD\Users\kylebaker\Movies\Sequence1.mov So, something isn't compiled right. -

Just like anything else you could have different disciplines inside of wingsuit. Distance and style are the two big ones that come to mind.

One of the "instructors" on that jump taught me how to pack, I emailed him and told him to check this thread out - maybe he'll post some answers to your questions. He is the same guy who did it last year as well Kevin

The problem with retrofiting the current base PC pouches is that if you notice on the suit, the PC pouch is on the same seam as all the "cutaway loops" for the suit.. so you're basically unstitching every cutaway loop on one side in order to get to the inside of the base PC pouch. I was going to put a spandex pouch on the inside of my base PC pouch, but until i figure out a better way of doing it - that's just too much work.

Are you the same Darren I jumped with in FL last year (picture) Anyway, hot air wingsuit ballon exits can be done one of two ways. A wingsuit base flyer would tell you to go off in the "perfect flight" position which will cause you to go head down for a few seconds.. the problem with hot air ballons is it is a MUST to NOT PUSH OFF you can put the ballon pilot at serious risk if you're doing it. If i were doing it, i'd do it like my helicopter exits - knees slightly bent, arms out and fall off staying horizontal and then extending legs. Not sure how comfortable you are with your flying skills but 6K won't give you much fly time if you're pulling at a safe altitude (3 - 4K) but it will definately be fun. Don't loose altitude awareness!

humm.. raeford has been growing, SM1 could probably tell you how many they have out there.. I think deland has a good # of "flock worthy" people but as far as "regular flockers" on the east coast it would probably be raeford.

Yes!!! Again, read my article on the base PC pouch. Letting the shrivel flap float free can cause a PC in tow two different ways. The shrivel flap will not shrivel if it isn't stitched.

the top means the top closest to the pin. See my instructions here with pictures. I'll post video later of how it works. Kevin
