And, the non-believer can humble himself before the Cross of Christ and repent. Then he too can see what it feels like. That will never happen as long as the non-believer maintains his ego-centrism and worships his own mind. So now it's back to you just have to believe before you can believe. So you have no evidence of any of your claims.

Millions of people can believe the Christian God is real. But that doesn't make it so. Just like the Hindu gods are no more real despite the millions of people that believe Hinduism. Do you think the Hindu gods are real?? Lots of people believe in them so they must exist right??

No personal insight is not evidence. Your example is of feelings. Feelings can be observed in a controlled setting using the right equipment so it's not the same thing as claiming the existence of a super natural being which can not be observed in a controlled setting. In your example the observer can go skydive and experience it and see what he feels. But since feelings are subjective he may have different feelings from the skydiver. Your logic is not very good.

I question his whole premise of atheists being guilty of imposing their beliefs on others. Evolution is not a belief. It's fact. There is evidence that can and has been tested that supports Evolution. Anyone who wishes to educate themselves on Evolution can do so and test out the claims that were made and see the evidence that supports those claims. It would take time to learn biology, paleontology, chemistry, geology but it can be done. They all support Evolution.

Are we still off on that stupidity? I'll counter, once again, with this: Before any rational thinking person can ask for proof of the metaphysical, one must realize that they are asking for the impossible which is totally irrational. Then there is no reason to believe the metaphysical exists at all.

FIFY. How are atheists guilty of pushing their beliefs on people? Discussing religion doesn't offend me. I was just asking for evidence to support their claims. How is atheism pushing ignorance on the children of this country??? You have very flawed logic that doesn't make any sense.

Your logic is very flawed. You seem to be saying that everything is true till proven wrong. So we should believe in everything till it's proven to be wrong? So all gods are real untill we can prove that they don't exist?? Does that really make sense to you? "Why disbelieve something with out evidence?" Because that makes sense otherwise it doesn't. "How do you know if what you disbelieve is true if you have no evidence to support it?" Because it doesn't make sense to believe something if there is no evidence or logical reasoning to support it. "How do you know if YOUR personal evidence is not just delusional?" I don't have any personal evidence. I am asking for evidence to support a claim that was made. "You supplied your own answer. It's irrational to ask for a test of something that can't be tested. Surely you see that." If it can't be tested then there is no reason to believe it.

I never said I had to know everything. A claim was made and I asked for evidence to support it. So you just live it and you claim it works? How do you know it works?

Most people are more thoughtful than that...I didn't grow up in a really religious home. I have experience many religions...was apathetic, agnostic, and atheist. For me Biblical Christianity has outlasted them all - it works...It's the real deal. How do you know it works? How do you know it's the real deal? What have you done to test it?

If you can't test that god exists then how do you know he does? Millions of people believe in Hinduism equally as fervent as you believe in Christianity. With out evidence they are both equally as likely to be valid. So the number of people believing doesn't matter. A delusion is a belief held with strong conviction despite superior evidence to the contrary. The claim is made that the Cristian God exists yet no evidence is provided. Claims are made that he proved his existence in the past yet no proof is provided today.

There wouldn't be a problem if Christians kept their beliefs to themselves and didn't try to impose their beliefs on everyone around them. Many Christians try to impose their belief of Creationism on others when there isn't any evidence to support it while there is substantial evidence to support Evolution. This pushing of ignorance on the children of this country is a big problem. That is just one example of the problem with Christianity.

False start, it begins with faith. Why? Is it because you have no evidence to support your claims? There is plenty of personal evidence that sustains our faith. We are not here to prove anything to you. We share our experience/perspective - you either accept or reject...quite simply actually. Personal evidence is meaningless with out actual evidence. Why believe something with out evidence? How do you know if what you believe is true if you have no evidence to support it? How do you know if your personal evidence is not just delusional? It can't be tested.

Before any rational thinking person can accept "the premise of an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God", evidence must be provided that any such being exists that can be independently tested and verified. Meanwhile there is plenty of evidence that has been independantly tested and verified that supports evolution. If you can prove that evolution is false then go for it. You would become very rich and famous for doing so.

Too bad that was not a skydive. It was a great stunt although. They could have done more rounds, so many boxes left. He exited an aircraft with a parachute and landed safely. How is that not a skydive? Because he didn't use the parachute? So if someone goes in with out anything out, does that mean that person did not die skydiving?

I think all AFFI's should supplement their freefall training with tunnel training. But tunnel should not be a replacement for freefall time. -
