Not interested in making physical products. I sell electrons. And I think there's where your challenge is. Even if you are perfectly correct in all of this, without actual performance in the form of suits, to many people who are still reading this forum - and there aren't many of us left - this is all just math-sturbation. (Some of which, you've been saying for almost 10 years now.) So, why not partner with one of the manufacturers? I don't mean the Big Three, I mean maybe one of the smaller ones that don't get as much play - and put your models to a rigorous empirical test. I’m really curious if all of this extensive research has ever been applied to wingsuit performance? I mean, given this information, shouldn’t you be able to figure out a mode of flight that out-performs everyone? How do your flights compare to typical performance suit fliers? Lightest Mirrorless with wired remote in the market?

I used a Canon M5 with a tongue switch (2.5mm jack). Worked fine. Note that it uses an EF-M format lens. So I you are trying to shoot with an EF or EF-S, you will need an adapter. Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork -

Awwww, look at Mr. Tough Guy hiding behind an anonymous account and trash-talking. I was wondering the other day why I don't run into more assholes in the sport; I guess I found one. (And yeah, if it's troll shit posting, it's still assholish...) Shame you're not brave enough to announce who you are though. Since that's the case, we can pretty easily ignore you. Have fun running around trying to upset people.

I've had both and I find the openings on the P7 are superior for wingsuiting. Seconded on this as well. Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

I can compare it to a Storm - I had a Storm for about 1000 jumps. It has *much* more of a glide than the Storm. The Storm feels like it moves at something like a 45 degree angle. Much nicer when you're a little far from where you want to be. Also a much more powerful flare. The landings on my Storm always felt like I was using a CRW canopy. As for the Sabre2, I had one for about 400 jumps (before the Storm). The glide ratio is similar, but the openings and landings on the P7 were much nicer. I like mine a lot! The openings are fantastic, and it's much nicer performance than my prior two canopies (a Storm and a Sabre2). Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

It’s a good thing this forum is dead, or else people would be annoyed with your spam shitposting.

Given what I know of most skydivers’ finances and the current bill, I actually have a little bit of (well, lots of) schadenfreude for any Trump supporters here. Man, it’s going to screw over a lot of you. You won’t internalize this, and you’ll vote against your own best interest forever because you’re good little robots, but it’s hilarious. I just wish it didn’t screw the whole county over so horribly as you did so. And yeah, I’m a jerk for calling you out. But after a little more math i realized I do OK (actually huge tax cut) on this tax plan. Most don’t. I wish it were not so. It’s terrible policy. I feel terrible for my friends who fought against this and lost. But for now, since we can’t stop that, I’m going to laugh at those who drank the Kool Aid and set the entire country up for failure. Great job, you brilliant minds. I really hope there is a sea change and we undo this in 2018. I would happily pay the same rate - even more - for a stable and sane society. But Republidrones, your masters have called and you must represent. Thanks for the cut. P.S., I’m not making any jobs.

Isn't one platform usually enough? I see spam for these sorts of apps or pages the time, but it seems like it's sort of a solution in search of a problem. Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

Funny that the usual folks who rally to support whatever Trump says aren’t out in force in this thread. Could it be that they actually are starting to realize Big Daddy Trump might not have the little guy’s interest at heart after all? Yep. I just did a back of the envelope calculation and I will pay more as result of consolidation of the brackets and the removal of the state and local income tax deduction. So will we, but that's what the GOP wanted anyway. But at least I won't have to do the AMT calculation any more. I have an LL.M. in tax, and I have TurboTax do it (in part because of AMT is a hassle to compute). Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

You're speaking metaphorically, right? Because the President doesn't have an actual line item veto authority after Clinton v. City of New York. I misspoke...er...misstyped. I meant "lying item venting" whereby trump lies about what he objects to and vents to everyone about it. Well, that one made me laugh out loud literally. Thank you for that. I was wondering when a real camera manufacturer was going to get into the small format camera game (other than BMD, but that is pro equipment). You are wrong. There is a video somewhere (cant look for it right now) of a guy trying to do this under canopy. He failed. Are you talking about this one? In fairness, in this idiot's case, he had used a nylon screw to attach the snag hazard, and OP is just talking about adhesive. https://skwrl.smugmug.com/Video/Videos/i-WHSJRJx/A Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

Normally, I would have said "wait for February and go to the Puerto Rico Boogie", which is always lots of fun... Not sure about this year, though. Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

Those two things don't add up to me. Either - your footage is actually crap - well, maybe it's useful to show to wuffos "hey, look! I'm a skydiver!"; - you're actually paying more attention to it than you claim that you are; or - you don't know what good footage looks like. I agree with this. I wingsuit almost exclusively, and have shot a Canon 5D, Mark 2, a Canon 60D, and most recently, an EOS M5. I really don't think it's all that much different than shooting a non-wingsuit skydive; deployment speeds can be a little slower, if done right (which is nice when you have a lot of weight on your head). So, usual advice - check for snag risks, have a cutaway on your helmet (and know how to use it and how it changes your emergency procedures), and don't let it be a distraction. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your photos. Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

So... that's behind us now... I look forward to Rosh Hashanah next year. For me it has taken the place of Christmas for anticipation. Good Yom Tov and Shanah Tova to you then, I guess. Be well. Skwrl Productions - Wingsuit Photography Northeast Bird School - Chief Logistics Guy and Video Dork

So... You want random, non-boogie footage to document the boogie that you enjoyed? That's... interesting... Can I suggest finding some from Sebastian, Puerto Rico, Panama, or Dubai? Those have great visuals and people will all assume it's from Pepperell. They just held Nationals and all of the footage is available; why not splice it in so you have some quality skydiving! (Sorry about the snark, but any skydiver in New England can tell all of the New England DZs apart just from a momentary inspection of the jump footage. Same is true for elsewhere around the globe - I know what CSC looks like vs. Skydive Chicago vs. Elsinore vs. Z-Hills vs. well, you get the point. I mean, if you're just making a video to impress whuffos or pick up chicks, who am I to judge, but it just seems sort of odd to me.) Anyway, good luck.
