Oh, hey Ron! Here's that IG report you were talking about. The one that was going to be dynamic, far-reaching and life changing! It's... well, it's long, and I'm still skimming it, but I'm gonna say not really all that life changing. Let's see... It looks like they concluded the investigation of Russian meddling itself was authorized (page 345). It looks like they identified a bunch of procedural and administrative screw ups at FBI in connection with the FISA warrants for the Russia investigation, though, and they make a few recommendations for new training and policies. Part of the conclusion says: "Finally, we also found no documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivations influenced the FBI's decision to use CHSs or UCEs to interact with Trump campaign officials in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation." I'm still reading it, but I couldn't find any evidence presented of a deep state pedo Satanist cabal (whether including the Illuminati, lizard people, or just "regular"). In fact... I'd say that there's not much to back Q up at all in it. Maybe you can explain using your decoder ring how to find the secret message. Oh, I bet I know what it is - I bet it's that if you select a bunch of capital letters from the report, you can make them spell "HILLARY WILL BE EXECUTED", so long as you re-arrange the letters and ignore all the letters that don't say that. Bet you wished you got the goalposts with the wheels on them, right?
-
But what if the OIG report doesn't do that? Will Q move the goalposts again? You might want to get these, because the Q followers keep having to move them and it's a lot easier with wheels. But seriously, I'm curious... the leaks I've read is that the OIG report will definitely identify a few missteps by FBI, but probably not enough to rise to the level of the persecution that the Administration has been claiming, and definitely nothing that supports the Q narrative... So, for the sake of conversation, humor me and imagine that is all it says... What then? Will you say, "oh, another report [to be decided which one] is coming?" Or will you actually question whether the whole Q narrative is based in reality? At what point would all the failed predictions start to make you question if you've been duped?
-
Relevant to the conversation. (Since there are clearly some very gullible people in this thread, I'm going to explain that the article in the link I included is satire.)
-
This is the part that boggles my mind. I know plenty of Trump supporters that think the Q fantasy is completely nuts. But I've heard from a few Qultists that they don't want to "let down the movement". When I ask how that could be the case - since you can support Trump and not believe in Q - they never really answer... Maybe it's sort of like the fairies in Peter Pan - if you don't clap your hands hard enough and believe with all your heart, Trump disappears.
-
You laugh, but that's not too far off. Attached picture is "proof" some Qultists came up with that the trip code that Q published on 8kun is "proved" by a recent Trump tweet (and therefore, the logic goes, Trump confirmed Q).
-
I follow them because I love reading the ramblings of crazy people tying themselves into knots over fantasies that never quite seem to pan out. I'm going to drop some truth on you. There are no adronochrome farms, Ron. No cabal of Democrats eating children. Hillary isn't in Gitmo, there aren't clones or actors running around in her and Obama's and Ruth Bader Ginsberg's place. Trump's clumsy method of sipping a glass of water one time wasn't a secret message to the masses. JFK, Jr. isn't secretly alive and waiting to be revealed. There's no secret military intelligence operation - if there was, why would they be dropping information about their activities on a public forum for all (including their supposed enemies) to see? It's literally the opposite of Operational Security to do so. And why would they have started their messages on a website not owned and operated by the military, but one that was notorious for dark web drug sales and child porn (4chan, then 8chan, now 8kun). The Q drops are basically a small group of people making revenue from a website that generates traffic from the gullible. The more you follow it, the more you realize the stories they are pushing are utterly, entirely, and completely unhinged. Most (sane) Trump supporters don't support Trump because of the Q fantasy, Ron. There are other reasons, but Q isn't it.

I thought you were against subjective views of morality that change over time.

Glad someone beat me to this. It's almost hilarious "through the looking glass" irony that the Qultists has now turned on Pro-Trump media (Sinclair Broadcasting). Next, we'll hear that OANN and Christian News Radio are the only true news sources. I definitely miss the Tom Clancy style Q, back in the good old days when it was all secret arrests and perp-walks to Guantanamo Bay and secret actors pretending to be key political figures. It was insane, but it was entertaining reading. The latest one is basically "Q: the Forwards from Grandma" Edition. Between this and the crowd attacking Don Jr at his stupid book thing, it seems like the 30% base that never changed opinion is starting to turn on them. I find this hilarious.

That’s defamatory bullshit! He was the covfefe boy.

OK, cool. So... what we've figured out from Philippians is that it's not hypocritical for him (Weber) or anyone else for point out when Christians are being hypocritical. I mean, in my personal opinion, it's OK for anyone to point out when anyone is being hypocritical, but that's just based on reason.
-
Now I'm totally at a loss... The passage from Philippians that you're quoting relates to some people that were trying to stir up trouble for Timothy and Paul while they were... well, nobody knows what was happening, since it probably was three letters that got glommed into one book. But you miss the second half of the very thing you're quoting: "what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached..." In other words, Weber citing Christ to point out hypocrisy of Christians (even if you think it's "false") is the same thing preaching Christ... So you ought to be OK with it... What am I missing?
-
So, pointing out hypocrisy is hypocritical?
-
Maybe it's because most of them don't, really. Pretty simple stuff. Explain to me which of Trump's policies align with what Jesus would do, please.
-
Well, that and the guys behind it (mostly a really weird American dude living in the Philippines because reasons and his colleagues) are making money off of the scam through a bunch of different means. Grifters gonna grift, and the gullible are easiest to grift.
-
Is this because DJT secretly died and has been replaced by an actor (or a clone, as I’ve seen on some the Q message boards) as the Qultists are now saying? (See attached image.) I got to say, I didn’t see *that* plot twist coming. (And to be super clear: I believe this is batshit, pants-on-head, totally kooky crazy, but literally *all* of the Q scam is, so this is probably par for the course.)
-
"No outside comms", Ron, per Q. Outside of 8chan. 8kun isn't 8chan. So, if you believe in the Q fantasy, this can't be legit, since it's an outside comm. The guy on 8chan didn't think that one through. Grifters gotta grift, though, I guess. Oh, and 8kun's down. For a supposed "military operation", they sure aren't very good at keeping servers running or even maintaining their DNS. Pretty lame SIGINT. Not to mention why a supposed secret cabal of people dedicated to fighting supposed pedophiles in positions of power would host their important messages on a board well known for child pornography (8chan). Not to mention - on top of that - why that secret cabal would need to clue in the public through such an awkward manner and without purpose. Whomp-whomp. Disinfo is necessary to keep the rubes believing, I guess. Wugga-wugga-woo-woo. Edited to add - I meant to direct that to Ron. Sorry, normiss.
-
I'm singling them out because the Book of Revelation does, and that's what a huge amount (not all, but a huge amount) of Christian eschatology is based on. Pretty sure my point stands, though.
-
Well, here’s a question for you: according to the Book of Revelation, for Jews who don’t convert and others that don’t follow Christ, will the Second Coming be (a) happy fun times, or (b) not so good times? Hint: the answer is (b). The whole “cast into the lake of fire” stuff for the non-believers (e.g., the Jews who don’t convert in Israel) makes that kind of obvious. So, it’s not that they want it to be destroyed per se, but they are OK with the consequence of the Second Coming, which would be the elimination of the Jews that don’t convert.
-
Well, I didn’t say they were manipulating it to make it happen; but that it’s a necessary condition for it to happen. See also, this WaPo article.
-
Would you agree that they support it because it’s necessary for Israel to exist for the Second Coming to happen?
-
Not sure why you're insisting there's hate. There's not. Sorry this makes you mad, but the theology relating to the Second Coming is pretty well known: Israel's enemies attacking it, Christ's return, and the conversion of 144,000, and, well, the destruction of the rest. You can see this in everything from the Book of Revelation itself, to Hal Lindsey's writings, to even the Left Behind series. It doesn't end well for the (non-converted) Jews. More information that might make it more clear
-
Maybe read a little. (It's a Washington Post article, but read through Outline.com since I don't have a WaPo subscription.) Additionally, it creates a little bit of a weird dynamic. Let's just say that according to Evangelical theology, the Second Coming doesn't really end well for the Jews (well, other than maybe 144,000 who convert, depending on how you read Revelation 7:4-8).
-
They love it because it has to exist so it can be destroyed for the Second Coming to happen (according to their reading of the Book of Revelations). I wonder if someone who likes me to exist just so I can be destroyed is really my friend, or no...
-
It has the name "Obama" in it! Duh! Except, no, wait... its real name is the Affordable Care Act and only cared "ObamaCare" informally. That's how sneaky that Obama was. Checkmate, Libtards!
-
Yes. I would. I'd want him impeached and removed from office. I don't know why that would be surprising. Politics shouldn't be a "root for the home team, no matter what" thing. Nobody is above the law. We don't have kings; we have a president that serves pursuant to a Constitution and serves subject to its limitations. If anything, I think we've seen that we need to rebalance the Executive (Article II of the Constitution - second for a reason) powers with the Legislative (Article I).
