    I have a $2000 yearly deductible, I was paying $500 out of pocket to the lab that my doctor sent me too twice a year for lipid test.     It's funny how different real life is than what goes on in here. I have several good friends whom I would consider "bat-shit crazy" when it comes to politics. If I knew only of their political beliefs and not all of their other features, I would probably want to punch them in the nose too. I consider our friendship way more important than politics, so why we all like to talk politics, we know the lines that are not to be crossed, unlike here. That's why people come here, it's a sport to try and dismantle your opponents beliefs while not having to ever have any other type of relationship with them. I have noticed, that the few people that do know each other in real life, tone it down with each other here.

    I work with a guy that just last week was trying to "enlighten" me about chemtrails. He has previously tried to enlighten me about fluoridated water, UN concentration camps, and alien abductions. 99% of these guys are just products of late night AM talk radio. I try and explain that the government is incapable of even keeping a blowjob secret, let alone thousands of AC crisscrossing the globe on a daily basis. You can't reason with these types.

    I Just spent a weekend at Tahoe with a friend, and when we departed I left a five spot for the maids for the two nights we were there. My friend said i'm an idiot for leaving money for the maids and no one ever does that. Based only on the above info, am I stupid for always leaving a couple of bucks at hotels?

    It sounds to me as just another attempt to continue the erosion of the right to choose. It seems if a rape victim freely chooses to have the fetus aborted, the defense could later argue that there is a lack of evidence for prosecution. While the victim would not be charged with a crime, I think the intent is to prevent abortions for rape victims under the pretext that you need a baby for prosecution of a rape. Then again, we all know that during a legitimate rape, the "juices don't flow" and pregnancy is not possible.

    The WHO studies what strains are prevalent in the southern hemisphere and then, based on the southern hemisphere, makes recommendations what strains should then be targeted in the northern hemisphere. The vaccine is then grown in fertilized chicken eggs starting in March. To say that they "guess" is just not true. The flu vaccine has been proven to save lives, particularily in the very young and the very old. While healthy adults may only have minor symptoms, they could pass it on to someone more vulnerable, and this is why the more people that get vaccinated the better.
