Are you still in high school?

Explain how a person is "innocent" if they admit the crime. Not only did Brenton butler confess to a murder, but he also had an eyewitness positive ID him as the shooter. He was innocent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brenton_Butler_case

What is wrong with his opinion? I agree with him. It saddens me greatly when a military veteran chooses to side with the enemy. We had/have a bunch from Vietnam as well. It saddens me greatly when I hear of a a veteran who is a republican. What I will never do is question that person's patriotism, let alone one missing so many limbs. At least the people in Florida had the common sense to toss him out on his ass, and he had all the grace and composure of Jan Brady when he lost.

Just when you think a prominent member of the Tea Party could not possibly stoop any lower. I wonder if FOX will still keep him? http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/05/22/foxs-allen-west-attacks-decorated-vet-rep-tammy/199424

Meh, this is more my style...true story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eddnloOFjwY Meh, looks like they put the whole budget into making the trailer. Only got a 29% on Rotten Tomatoes and they only did a million at the box office.

Most of the African countries they are "in line" with are are Muslim, funny how you guys have so much more in common than you'll ever realize, or want to realize.

This one will be worth the time. What did you learn from watching it? That the lower the educational and social status of a person is, the easier it is to get them to believe the most absurd things. That the credit I gave to Bush 42 for all the money he spent in Africa for HIV prevention was bullshit and that he did more harm than good. This also confirmed my belief that hard core Christian evangelist are mentally disturbed.

An excellent 2014 documentary on why Uganda is ground zero for American fundamentalist missionaries. Showing on PBS this week http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/god-loves-uganda/

I agree, picking crops at the age of 7 is always a proven character builder, compulsory child education has always been over rated. Since the implantation of child labor laws in the early 1900's, this country has been in a steady nose dive. Issue like child labor are always best sorted out by private industry.

Conspicuously absent from the 911 memorial dedication

I wonder where George, Dick, Condi, and Don were yesterday? Perhaps they were on their way to that big rally in DC today. -

Evidently they were just a tad bit shy of the millions of tea Baggers projected to attend today's festivities, you know it's bad when FOX doesn't even show up. http://p.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/may/14/operation-american-spring-hitting-dc-to-oust-obama/ -
They're (SEIU in particular) are trying pretty hard to get that here in San Francisco, where the minimum is already $10.55. The problem with this shoot for the moon approach is the same with any gross overbid - the other party sees it is not a serious conversation. What is the consequence of raising unskilled labor's floor price by 50%? Does it force up the wages of those who currently were making $15? Probably not, since I can't imaging working in McDonald's is more attractive. Less effort, but more grease. But it may clobber teenage job prospects. I haven't seen a teen in California working MW fast food since the eighties, although In & out burger has a few, but they pay them $3 or $4 bucks above MW.

Not sure I was tracking (or even talking about tracking) at 10 jumps, so I don't really see that one as a mistake I thought they taught everyone in AFF what tracking was, they made sure I could (half ass) track on my last 12 AFF jumps.

I think it's pretty classy. http://youtu.be/ssHE1yvrCag

The mock exits looked like they really helped.

I had a 1O jump student going out before me on a load, he asked me if there was anything I wanted him to do: "just make sure you track perpendicular to jump run" I told him. After hearing this he gave me a very quizzical look, I said you do know what perpendicular means? To which he responded: "I know what perpendicular means, but what does track mean?" Dohhhh.

You need to go back to Analogy School. It is, after all, a higher art form. It was early in the AM and no coffee. However, I remember back in the mid-80s when I started working with Vietnam vets single vehicle accident suicides were discussed. I guess you never saw the movie "Leaving Las Vegas" with Nicholas Cage. Were these single vehicle suicides so frequent that Las Vegas car dealers refused to offer test drives to those who came in alone?

So the gun industry claims that a waiting period is unnecessary when it comes to purchasing a firearm. If your plan for the weapon is your own suicide, just kill yourself at home, don't do it at their place of business. Interesting. http://rt.com/usa/florida-suspends-gun-suicide-rentals-444/

Interesting, I spent 2 years in 2007 traveling around Syria. You just don't run into too many Americans on the streets of Damascus or Aleppo. Great country - great people, seemed to loved Americans, just not so much the American government. Outside of being detained by the Syrian army for hours and hours at the Syrian boarder station, things were great. It really sucks they destroyed the souk in aAleppo, I also hope the Baron hotel in Aleppo survives. I would love to back.

Pre-employment drug testing benefiting low income blacks
jclalor replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
If you can't talk to another man face to face for an hour, look him in the eye and give him a job without having to rummage through his bodily excrement, then maybe you shouldn't hire the guy... I dunno...it's just weird to me. firm Or just perhaps, a firm handshake and hours spent staring into another mans eyes will get you nothing more than the shallow and comical promises of a substance abuser, who couldn't put together 30 days of clean time if his life depended upon it. As a nurse and havering seen first hand the problem of diverted narcotics and addiction that is a major problem in the fieldd of nursing. We need to know who can be trusted with narcotics and can not be. -

It seem a higher number of blacks are hired when there is drug testing as opposed to when there is none. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/05/is-drug-testing-boosting-employment-for-african-americans/361885/
