  1. Give some of the crowd credit, they wanted to make sure they were at least killing the right person. "We were asking the people to stop beating her and let us ask what religion she belongs to," one witness told TOLOnews. "But the people didn't listen to us and kept beating her."
  2. Obviously. /facepalm This isn't a Texas thing. It's not a California thing Geebus. I understand that things are a bit tense down in the lone star state, with the imminent invasion, who wouldn't be a little jumpy? http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/04/politics/pentagon-texas-jade-helm-15-takeover/
  3. Let me get this straight... Holding a conference to draw cartoons of a religious leader, who's sole mission is to iincite Muslims. But wishing people "Happy Hollidays" is a war on Christmas? Next time, they bring their AK's to the local mall or preschool for this kind of stupid art show. I really hope that the loud mouth bitch leader gets her fuckbg head ventilated or lopped off. She is trying her damdest for us to have our own Rwanda.
  4. Go to a texas and a hold "Paint a picture of Jesus getting fucked in the ass" contest and see how that works .
  5. I went 12 years without smoking pot... Then I turned 13. Actually, they don't test at my work, I haven't smoked since I got into nursing 13 years ago. I was wondering more about the nursing board and licensure, their pretty draconian. And FWIW, before I was in nursing, I did some subcontracting work for West Marine, they did not allow employees to smoke at any time.
  6. Best documentary on the fall of Saigon I've seen. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/films/lastdays/
  7. Do you know why fireman have bigger balls than police? They sell more tickets.
  8. Perhaps, at a time when well paying/benefited jobs were a bit more easier to land. Having a job in these times, that you really need, just makes a dickhead boss that much more intolerable. The worst part, dickhead bosses know the job market, this gives them their power.
  9. Does anyone know if possessing a pot card in California enables you to smoke while employed (off duty) as a nurse?
  10. I never thought I'd be able to put a price on skydive safety... I was wrong, it's $15 a jump. I think everyone that jumps there understands that part of the deal. I like Lodi, some of the locals are dicks, but it's ok.
  11. What exactly do you mean by "video log"?
  12. I like the approach attributed to Louisiana. It seems that they view burning or desecrating a U.S. flag to be protected free speech. They did, however, put a $5 limit on the fines that could be imposed on someone who beat the living shit out of a person burning or desecrating a U.S. flag. Works for me. Could you possibly cite that?
  13. Arrogant! Hell yes. It is arrogance. A part of American ethos. For some insight I'd recommend reading Holidays in Hell by PJ O'Rourke. Chapter "Among the Euroweenies." the end of it, that starts with "a John Wayne movie." That book was the inspiration for some of my travels in the ME.
  14. And after we now know that she was a disgrace to the Armed forces of the United States, having been demoted for cheapening the sacrifice made by men and women in uniform, this is how Fax interviews her? http://video.foxnews.com/v/4186627894001/vet-detained-for-stopping-protesters-desecration-of-us-flag/?playlist_id=921261890001#sp=show-clips

  16. As repugnant as the act may be, desecrating the flag is protected speech. I think what she did while in uniform was much more disgraceful. I thought not complying with the orders of LE was suffiecent enough to get you at least pepper sprayed in the south. I guess being a white female in Georgia you get cut a little slack. The police declined to press charges? WTF is that? http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/04/19/air-force-veteran-detained-after-stopping-protesters-walking-american-flag
  17. Your absolutely right. Living in California, I've only seen AFF as the only option for skydiving and so I get a bit jaded.
  18. Jonestown...that's the one where that atheist/communist convinced a bunch of people to commit suicide, right? A lot more to the story than that. When your forced to first murder your own children, I suppose suicide comes a bit easier. I actually got to know Stephan Jones, the only biological child of Jim. Stephan spent some time in a Guyanese prison with his brother until they sorted everything out. He was a very fascinating person to say the least, he absolutley had his dad's charisma, he was also a very decent person that had to live with a terrible burden.
  19. "The Bill Dause Beech 65-A90 King Air (United States registration N17SA, aircraft serial number LJ-164) took off from Pitt Meadows Airport" If you didn't know, that's the elderly gentleman with long hair that sold you your jump ticket at Lodi. I bet he read it.
  20. No. I ask this question with all sincerity; after 20+ years away from the sport, what type (if any) of re-training would be required before making another jump?
  21. Wouldn't the first question be if he's a suitable candiate that could also be properly equipped for AFF?
  22. Please provide a source for I have never seen hoping and praying for death and destruction of the world by Ron. Thanks ahead of time for finding that for me. Ron has repeatedly claimed that the return of Christ is eminent. I'm sure you're pretty well versed about all of the suffering, death and destruction that is the prequel to the second coming. When you're a biblical literalist, it's no secret what you're hoping and praying for. You sound just like a moderate Muslim defending an extremist one.
