    This verse and most others make no mention if the "deed" was done. Kings 1 Jehoshaphat "did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord" and "took" the homosexuals (sodomites) "out of the land," or as the RSV says, "he exterminated" them. 22:43, 46 This is how God shows he loves the sinner but hates the sin?

(I don't even drink by the way....never tasted an achoholic drink in my life.) Please never start drinking. !     What I was trying to point out is that "brain washed liberals" did not get their higher IQ's from dodging work and the real world by going to college. They had on average, higher IQ's before college and in fact that is why they went to college. This is obviously not to say that all liberals are intelligent and all conservatives are dumb. (tempting as it might be)

    Made 40 jumps at age 20, took a brief 27 year break, and getting back into jumping was the best decision I have made in a while.

    IQ scores are not related to education. Yes and no. A person does need to reach a certain level of reading and comprehension to be able to understand what the test is asking in the first place. I stand corrected, IQ scores are not related to higher education.

    ***Here's a good question: when a server or delivery guy says "do you want change?" how do you react? If the amount of change is really high (over 20%) I take the change and the amount of their tip is way less for being assholes.

    I should have emphasized it more, that I am sure younger children would love having parents that jump. My daughter was 18 when I started, so at that age she had an idea of what can go wrong. I should have defined the thread more about how it affects older children.

    That's just the point, why is it not being taught? After all, it is in the bible, you do believe the bible is the infallible word of God? Unlike most Christians, some of us atheist actually read all the fine print.     Jesus told his followers that he would return prior to the death of some of them. "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. —Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27 He was very wrong, it's been 2000 years, all of them are all very dead. Why would anyone still beleive anything he said? Or was he just mistaken?

    It was a bit of a parody on the " Do your parents know?" thread. I would be more concerned with worrying my child than worrying my parents.

    Your right, at first she did not have enough knowledge about the sport, I might as well told her I was going to jump 22 school busses. but once she did a couple tandems and hung out a bit she was ok. I think most older children of new skydivers, without any exposure to jumping, like the general public, think skydivers are suicidal maniacs. I just think most parents don't like to see their children worry that much.

    I waited until my daughter turned 18 go get back into jumping after making 40 jumps in the early 80's. It scared her really bad at first but now she is pretty much ok with it, outside of thinking i'm an old eccentric nut.

However there it was, no way of denying it, just like all the right wing media sources along with Drudge were saying. Obama had some how managed to incorperate his campaign insignia and the islamic crescent in the new US missle defense insignia, hell, he even managed to work in a plug for Pepsi. This could not possibly be a lie, after all, this information was coming from the same folks that told me he was born in Kenya, that he was not even a US citizen, and worse of all, he was a closet muslim.     You belittle scientific principles, yet you trust your life flying in airplanes, jumping parachutes, undergoing surgical procedures, taking medications and pretty much living you'r daily life from the benefits of science and empirical research.
