  1. What I do? Let me know so I know what to stop. I thought I was just goin with the flow of the way everyone else talks around here. 16 post and no profile, your not to be taken seriously. Ghostpilot and parahog are the same.
  2. I doubt it, considering California is nearly bankrupt. A whopping 6 post and no profile, your to be ignored.

  4. You sound like someone who is completely unfazed by the facts, and I know nothing I say will change your mind. But here is something to think about; The more red the state, the lower the income. the blue states have the highest incomes. Therefore, Democrats pay more taxes on average than Republicans. The top 1-2% of income earners are more likely to be Republican, but on average the democrat pays more. This is also due to the fact that the higher your level of education, the more likely you are to be a democrat.
  5. I am glad to hear your son is doing well, and with no complications. A few weeks ago, my 20 year old daughter, 2000 miles away at school, had a constant pounding in her left ear and it was thought there could be some type of tumor. She had an MRI and a CAT scan. It was the longest and most helpless feeling I ever had in my life, waiting for the results. It turned out to be nothing but a good scare. I knew the odds of something bad being found were very low, but I also thought to my self, this is how the nightmare begins for some. I guess I could have taken my intuition that everything would be ok as a message from God, but I knew it was just intuition. I thought about believers in the same situation, and I could never imagine telling my daughter that we should pray that and listen for communication from God that everything would be ok, but asking that God make her ok, while letting others suffer and die just seemed bizarre. I have seen this argument here before, and I know it seems a bit strange, but when I see prayer grow a limb back, I then may have to re-evaluate. People who have medical problems that cannot be seen with the naked eye get prayers to be healed. People with missing limbs or eyes get prayers that they are able to accept their handicap and move on. Even the most devout Christian knows that both of your missing legs will never grow back.
  6. This online thing did not work out well for me, although I did end up meeting Chris Hansen for a few minutes.
  7. So when God tells me that as a test of my faith, I should go grab the kid and a pick ax and head for the hills, and he'll explain the rest later, I should comply?
  8. Who needs two years, your right now.
  9. This is directed to whoever is concerned with their kids and social media. It's the future. If you think there's a chance your 12 year daughter is going to invite a 40 year old man over to the house when your away, you already lost the battle. Remember when every time something horrible happened to a kid and the media could not link it to "My Space" fast enough Your kid is a million times more likely to be hit by lightning or a run-away cement truck before they are caused harm by a social media site.
  10. Looks like a great movie. When will it be available in the states? As a nurse, I work with several kids that are in chairs from traumatic injuries and I would love to be able to show this to them.
  11. I agree 100%, that's why I didn't.
  12. From your source: I seem to remember it way different, I remember banks wanting to give me a 0 interest mortgage on a $900,000 house with no proof of income and a few dollars down (2%). No federal agency held a gun to their head, why? the bank did not give a shit, they were just going to sell the paper to JP Morgan who was going to bundle it and then sell it to some one else who would then bet with someone else that the loans would fail. Most people fell for this, with real estate going up 20% a year, all you had to do was refinance 3 years later when your loan converted and you came out looking great. To blame this whole scam on the Dems is insane, look no further than WS. and when all the loans failed, and the investment banks had to pay up, we bailed the banks out. You don't remember this? banks loaning money to anyone? Who could ever forget.
  13. A nice cop, but I would like to see what would happen to the average brother in the same situation.
  14. I talked to an invisible friend when I was four.
  15. I have no idea where Rome USA is, but I gotta a funny feeling it's a southern state. Poor guy had to live long enough to see his worst nightmare come true.
  16. Then it must be all the white women.
  17. Zero, just like Obama. So Obamas wife did not go overseas? Hmmm http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&biw=1660&bih=878&q=michelle+obama%27s+vacations&oq=michelle+obama%27s+va&aq=0&aqi=g1g-s9&aql=&gs_sm=c&gs_upl=2672l3454l0l6297l5l5l0l1l1l1l296l937l0.1.3l4l0 You need to pay attention to your own question, You never ask if she made the trips and I never said she did not make the trips. What I did say was that they did not cost "billions" Not all of us excel at math, here's some help. A billion dollars is = to one thousand piles of a million dollars, so when you say billions, at the least, that would be 2 billion, or 2 thousand piles of a million dollars. Think about it. I use to think for a conservative, you made a good argument, but lately, you have gone off the deep end. Providing a Google page is not a source.
  18. Nice to see the local community set the standards for their definition of obscenity.
  19. When you first posted this I didn't think much of it. Then I thought a little about it, is this the most you guys have? The President likes to golf? WTF. At the most, maybe every week or two he spends a few hours golfing, and this is an issue that concerns you. Take issue with his policy, hell no ones perfect, maybe he's wrong on everything, but to think he is less of a President because he golfs is pathetic. Anybody that really thinks his golfing is an issue needs to reevaluate their critical thinking skills. You must not remember the uproar about Bush's golfing and vacations I think this is just a parody on that which exposes the hypocrisy of the left on topics like this What do you think? I enjoy a good parody just like the next guy, but I don't think this was the case. Golfing an hour away is not even close to flying half way across the country to the ranch. I always thought, while it looked bad for Dubya to make all those trips to Crawford, (He made 77 trips and spent 487 days there) in reality he was just as connected as he was at the WH. While it's true that some Dems went after Dubya about everything he did, some did not. Now all these Republicans say that since some said this about Bush, we can say this about Obama. It would be nice to see the Republicans go after Obama on policy and not golfing, Kenya, Islam etc etc etc. It would be a chance to show that their the bigger men.

  21. They are right. They won't be reelected. This is going to be a very long overhaul in U.S. politics. The movement continues to gain momentum. The Tea Party is down in the polls, and this deficit situation will not help them in the least. Cutting Government spending sounds all wonderful and all, until it's their Medicare or Social Security that's on the chopping http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/06/22/2279580/gop-poll-tea-party-movement-could.html Bachman has been running her mouth about how she is not voting for extending the deficit while Romney and Pawlenty have kept their mouth shut. It's gonna cost her.
  22. *** So where's his plan? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703385404576259903446373140.html The republicans are the ones that say they will not support anything that increases taxes by one cent. Remember Grover Norquist. The hang up is not the spending cuts, it's the tea party that refuses to budge one inch on revenues or one inch even on tax loopholes. They are bunch of fucking pussies afraid they wont be reelected. Why do you think the MAJORITY of Americans support Obama on this and the Republican Congress is in the shitter? Go look yourself, show me a poll where the majority support the tea party or Republicans on this. You are living proof that if you repeat the lie over and over and often enough, you soon believe it as fact.
  23. As Amazon was so kind to point out, there is "working" and then their is being productive. I'm still waiting for the president to come up with a plan for the debt since he and harry reid plan to shelf and veto the republican plans. It would be nice if harry actually came up with a plan that wasn't an accounting gimmick. I know lots of people who know how to look busy too. If all the president wants to do is play the blame game, point fingers, and start a class war with childish addresses to the public, maybe we are just better off if he plays golf this weekend. Once again, you do you realize the vast majority of Democrats and Republicans support a balance of revenue increases on the top 2% and cuts. Trying to say Obama is stonewalling is a lie. http://www.gallup.com/poll/146969/americans-favor-budget-compromise-shutdown.aspx
