Well campers it's almost time for the 20th annual Richmond Revisited AKA Richmond The Boogie. That's right folks it been 20 years now that Mom & Dad Stewart got the event restarted. So if you didn't blow all your boogie cash at summerfest, this even is one of the last great boogies here in the midwest before the snow flys. As I know, all the regular players will be in town, Mike Mullins and his super fast king air, Doug Smith and the CSC Otter, Rook Nelson and crew with the SDC Otter and a Caravan on stand by if we need it. Specialty aircraft ? There will L.O.'s for all experience levels, I'm not sure who all, I didn't ask, I know Rook Nelson will be doing freefly. I'm going to be working with mixed groups of lowtimers and experience RW jumpers. Scott Fritz will be doing his thing again this year. And I'm sure there are some I missed. Well I'm quite happy Chris is keeping an eye out, some op's don't want to report this type of shit because of a number of reasons, some of the reasons I have seen is because they don't want the expense of fixing the the aircraft the right way instead they do shit like straighten out the prop themselves or fly with a bent crankshaft or fill damaged props with JB weld and other types of "ghetto repairs" or because the FAA has already been up one side and down the other side of their ass already, or for both reasons. you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

I would assume so, she looked right at me with a big ass 300mm zoom lens pointed right at her. I took the shot because 1. my wife likes to see chick skydivers doing cool stuff, can't get much more cool then doing 100 ways and 2. I enjoyed the fact that not only was she a lady but because she is a black skydiver chick. I have met about 10 or 12 black skydivers over the years, but only one was a chick, I have posted photos of her before she is married to a friend of mine, you may have seen the tandem photos I have posted here with her and hubby doing RW with the Carbones. That maybe but the sisters do, this young lady was dong 100 way's in perris this summer, I think she is from Canada. I have met a number of black men over the years, so there are some who jump most are military I have met. It is in pretty good shape. I have a brand new 81 RTS that has never been packed, I'm about 99% sure it was made to hold a dactyl or a piglet. If you main is in good shape you could find a big modern rig to put into. Are you a POPS member yet? If not you need to join and then you could jump your XL in the hit and rock and acc. But that safety flyer needs to find it's way to a museum or car cover. Thanks, ys that is what I was wanting to see, oh yea, you don't even have a plastic martin baker on that.

In general video flyers who been doing it awhile make really good AFFI's do to the large amount of proxmity flying they do and AFF takes good proxmity flying skills, try it you might like it, some of those Lv 1's can be a wild ass ride.... you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo

(Here is the short version of your history lession) Blast handle is an "anti wind blast" (so the wind blow away your handle) handle that was first used (if memory serves me correct) on ejection seats and bail out rig in the military. They have a clip that clips to the lip of the end of the ripcord housing and were very tough to pull if not pulled in the correct direction, down. Then after a few people bounced pulling on them at 90 degrees the center were drilled out to make for an easier pull, before being banned outright. They were still put to good use for many years on a lot of dropzones and use for "safety meetings". I am fully aware of who is the head ass chewer as a daily routine. However it is Bob Hallet who owns the dz and has the most investment to lose. Yea I know those guy's attitude suck, that's why a lot of jumpers don't care to go there, myself I find kind of funny and don't let it bug me, I just give them the evil eye they give, back and make sure I give a big loud YAHOO on take off too just to piss them off and make fun of their invisiable grip taking on the ride up, the students all crack up and they just give more of the same evil eye they shoot every one as they prance around the dz. Maybe he is tired of of hearing people from town who stop in to eat lunch on the porch gasp and cringe everytime some super swooper pulls one of those buzz the wuffos on the top deck and miss them by inches so I can land super close and not have to walk or run to meet a plane swoops. Maybe he is sick and tired of students and other "normal" pilots getting the shit freaked out of them in the main landing area and then coming into the office to bitch about the large number of dumbass hotshots who think their special because their on a team and think they have a right to do as they please.
