1984- bc it is just the greatest book I have ever read and it is coming true. Into Thin Air- amazing story about an Everest climb gone wrong. As a climber I especially love it. I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell-probably the funniest book I have ever read! Tucker Max is a great writer and reading about what he has done in his life is just wrong and so comical. A very close 4th is Blue Like Jazz because it is exactly how I feel my relationship with God works! If there had been more lending regulation by the Bush administration over the past 8 years, the country would not have been in this financial hole to begin with. Bush, McCain etc. wanted more regulation on the GOVERNMENT entity. It is a result of no regulation on the government not the banks. The government passed down the orders to lend more money. Fannie and Freddie and now the fat pockets of "certain" politicians are pretty happy about what they got out of it. Top money list.... Obama was pretty high up there. Why do we need to regulate a government entity thqat is already controlled by the government anyway??? Anyway.... BO has a husge mess on his hands and I doubt he will improve it in any way.... It speaks volumes that Obama is the president elect. With only 13% of the voting population being black I think this has really shown where we are as a country. For that I am proud and I do have faith that our system will prevail. Now maybe the insane ramblings of Jesse Jackson will be subdued as he is no longer the top african-american dog. That is the first time I have ever heard that? So you are teling me that the agencies have two scores that they offer? If I go to TU or EFX I get the same scores that I do when I pull a tri-merge on myself. I have been in the financial sector for 9 years and was a mortgage banker so that is where I get my knowledge. I do know that the agencies try to sell you a "range score" and those are not accurate but when you actually pay for your score it is the same one that I would see as a lender. Huh...... I think I am a little confused but oh well. I do know if you go to annualcreditreport.com and pay for every score it is your accurate score for each agency. Stick with them and you will be good to go..... Oh and the "quick score" tool is great! I do not know whay it is not offered to consumers. It's our credit after all! Blues!! Just curious.... why are you suggesting Equifax? A lender will use whatever agency they are signed up with and a mortgage lender will use the middle score. Any of the agencies could be the middle score so why suggest Equifax? As for the "fako scores". annualcreditreport.com goes straight to the individual agencies so they are going to be your actual scores for them individually if you choose to pay for said score. Blues!! They are not obligated to give you a score just the report. I would suggest using annualcreditreport.com. i use them every year and it is no big deal. If you want a score you have to pay for it but the site directs you to the individual agencies to get the report so if you get a score it is from that agency. It will not hurt your credit at all to do this as it pulls as a consumer pull or soft hit and is allowed once a year. If you have been turned down by a creditor you can get another report for free and if you apply for a mortgage the bank or lender is obligated now to give you your scores as reported to them. If you go to the agencies themselves in your city you will still have to pay for the score. Blues!! I just hear and have recently dealt with the whole.... "you will quit jumping once you have a family" well that may be true which is why I don't want marriage right now because I don't plan on quitting skydiving. I think it is possibly to find a whuffo that understands but once I had kids I think I would think about it even more. Things happen and good people die in skydiving through no fault of their own. I guess I am just selfish because I only want to be responible for me! I do think marriage can be a great thing though. It's just not for me right now..... Blues!! So.... this past weekend was fun and I tried many things. First tried packing it different ways i.e. nose out or somewhat in and the whole nose did not open after that. :( changed out the PC with a kill line and much smaller PC no change but flew a lot better once open :) I had another jumper jump my rig and had the same result then hooked up the canopy to another rig and riser set but still no change. Finally we threw on a new and bigger slider. I Had an amazing opening but with a 2000' snivel. I jumped it again and dumped at 6000' blew through 2000' then pumped the rear risers and finally unstowed the breaks for a great opening at about 2500 AGL (that of course is because we just grabbed a big slider not made for the canopy) So at the end of the day.... the canopy is going back to the very ready and willing Icarus service center. I will update once I find out what the problem was but if there are any more suggestions please feel free to share. Blues!! Oreilly does lean right but I don't think he is extreme. On social issues he does get a little more amped but I also think he does the best job on cable news with interviews and at least trying to maintain some balance. I think Olbermann is just left and really doesn't even make an effort at balance. Unfortunately...... we have Fannie and Freddie for mortgages and Ginnie mae for student loans. I believe it does some mortgages as well and not really sure how the agency has been impacted by all of this but I'm sure it has to some degree. By the way if there are more conventional and subprime loans out there would it not stand to reason that the default rate would be higher... again you can manipulate %'s any way you want to but you have nothing to say to rebute what I am saying. It was the programs pushed by the government that caused all of this. Primarily the dems but continued by Bush then the banks and lenders followed suit to make money and the consumers simply thought it was great and bought above their means. Wow..... you really know how to blame others for problems that were created by the consumer as well. I never did any subprime loans and worked with HUD to try and restrict them but you know who kept them going? The government..... I know this because HUD is a FEDERAL AGENCY and I saw stuff all the time the demonstrated the agenda of the government. Of course no one forced the banks to leverage the crap and they should pay for it not get bailed out and I am telling you they are at fault but guess who else is....... the government and its programs as well as the consumer!
