Good thoughts and I will try them out.... canopy is a 229. As you can see by my jump numbers I am trying to downsize properly and loading just over a one I think is where I need to be.

That is the one thing I thought might be doing it. It is large and not collapsible. Other jumpers did tell me they can see the shoot dragging a bit and the PC pulling on the canopy. It is not the right PC for it at all but I am getting one with my new Vector so I am not going to buy a new one for the canopy but definitely something worth trying. Do you think that drag could be pulling so much that it prevents the cells from opening? Also it is always on the left side? When I talked to Icarus today they said that should not be a problem but hearing that yours did it to start out makes me feel a bit better. I wondered if it was just a matter of breaking in but Icarus said no.... I just don't want to keep jumping it only to find out that it will continue to do it. I get the crosspost thing! MY BAD... Per your suggestion I will read one or both of those books. I believe there is a lot of merit to getting into a persons head and figuring out how they think. As for his views on the economy.... it is not just the bailout. That is what made me so mad at McCain and proud of the Repubs & Dems that voted against it! Overall, I do not like his view and spending habits. I can not stand what Bush has done and to me he is not a true Republican. My fear is that the fiscal conservative is gone..... On opening my 4 left cells in the front do not inflate causing the canopy to make a hard left. I am loading it at a 1.1 and it now has 12 jumps on it. I had my rigger jump it as well and it did the same thing. I checked the lines for equal length and all is good. It was packed by three different people and still does it including my rigger and a packer with 15 years packing experience and several Safire 2's. I talked to Icarus and they are not really sure... worst case I send it in to them but I am looking for suggestions or a similar problem..... any help is appreciated. Well........ it is just a video from Youtube but there is some truth to it. I am merely stating this from my experience as a Sr. mortgage banker and now Sr. investment banker. The government had a big hand in it and did push the banks to lend as they did. I would say about 5-10% of the mess is on behalf of shady lenders but laws passed under administrations pushed this whole meltdown to happen. It all centers around the mortgage crisis and that was started by the dems. That being said bush pushed even harder to get more aggressive programs through via Fannie and Freddie so he could say that under him X amount of minorities and low tax bracket individuals are home owners. So you are right in that both parties are to blame but it did all get started by Carter and his policies. The important thing is what we are going to do moving forward not who caused it. I just want to state a few things.... many have said Palin is stupid or scary.... I say she is the only one that has not been corrupted and polished by Washington. I liked McCain in 2000 but Bush attacked him and ended up winning the nod. McCain now is not the McCain I liked so much in 2000 though. Obama and Biden are typical sleezy Washington scum! THEY ARE LAWYERS!! Washington needs less lawyers and more leaders. Obama, McCain, and Biden all spew talking points and none of them actually say how they are going to accomplish what they say they will do. Palin did keep bringing up talking points but its because that is what is expected.... we do not need far left or far right in office. We need someone who will accomplish goals with the help of the other side. Obama is a socialist and I cannot believe people are not listening to him. They are simply voting for him because he is the opposite of Bush. His campaign has done a great job of making McCain out to be 4 more years of Bush but that is just not true. I want a candidate that can win on their own merits, what they believe, and their track record. Not because they are black, the opposite party we have had in office, or speaks better in a debate because they have court experience. With that said I also think McCain is probably not the answer either. I cannot believe this but I don't even know if there is a lesser of two evils in this case. ummm.... is this a trick question? It won't do anything??? You have to pull the reserve handle..... I think I see the confusion.... what I was getting at was already answered by the link. I was not sure if the reserve still had a PC or if the skyhok some how had some other function to get the reserve out even with a total malfunction.
