Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't look like that car is going very fast. It almost looks...stopped. It also looks like the guy with her is talking on the phone. I always put my daughter in a car seat and strapped the car seat in, but when I was a child, we didn't even have seatbelts, much less shoulder harnesses. I totally agree with you. In order to eradicate jealously though you must first eradicate fear and insecurity. That's hard. If anyone knows how to do that it's you rl. Unfortunately, I have no need for followers, because I have no answer. So close, yet so far. I've been with guys who went to outrageous lengths to make me jealous, and who didn't understand that my reaction had nothing to do with jealousy and everything to do with being on the receiving end of some really mean and shitty behavior. For example, it's one thing to flat out say, "I'm really hot for this girl, and I want to see what's up." It's quite another to change plans that were already made, ruining your partner's weekend as a result, and then lying about the reasons for doing it. I can deal with the former, but if you present me with the latter, I guarantee you I will go batshit. I don't understand jealousy. I don't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with me, and I don't want to be in the way of someone who wants to do other things. But if you fuck with me, as above, all hell breaks loose. I have this feeling that people need drama, and if it doesn't come to them in the natural course of things, they will invent it. I suspect that's the purpose served by jealousy, fear and insecurity. So the answer is, human beings must stop being drama queens. I actually believe that our society would run far more smoothly if we didn't have all these hangups about sex, most particularly the one that relates to sexual jealousy. Sex is voluntary. Pleasing your partner doesn't mean doing something that makes you feel bad, especially when it will inevitably destroy your relationship because it made you feel bad. I totally agree with this... ...unfortunately, there are a lot of people who are real cheapskates, and regardless of how good the service, they don't tip at all. I was a waitress for three months when I was 16. Never again. I dunno. I'm not in very good form today, Michael. I guess you could be right. I'm pretty sure I co-opted him for the cabana. I went home last night to the following announcement: "I tried to kill myself, but it didn't work." I said, "Well, that's good," and kept walking. This morning, the cat climbed on my shoulder, started to knead, and stuck me with a claw. When I pushed her off, she lost her balance and sent the coffee cup flying. Did I mention? It was full. Did I mention? My cell phone was in the path of flying coffee. I forgot that I'm cranky and bitchy because I'm at a low hormonal level right now. I also forgot a tampon. I'm wearing brown slacks (just for you, gtavercetti) today, and right before I went out the door, I put on black pumps. I was halfway here before I realized it, so instead of being 30 minutes late, I was later.
