The one purpose threads like these serve--for me, anyway--is to tell me who I don't want to know. I'd rather not take the time to get to know someone and find out later that s/he holds such views, because I have no interest in being friendly with people who hold such views. rl Oops! The most likely scenario is that she will be home in a couple of days. She won't wander far, just far enough to worry you. When she does come home, she'll be lying in wait for you if you're not already home for the day waiting for you. What kind of neighborhood do you live in? And have you called the local shelters? My cat once went off the balcony and was picked up on the street by someone who then drove her to a shelter 40 miles away. I prefaced my call to that shelter (it was a county shelter) with: "I know you don't have her, but I have to try everything." They laughed and said, "Don't be so sure." To this day, I still don't believe it. When she comes back, it's cheaper to have a kitty abortion than it is to keep a whole bunch of kittens if you can't find homes for them. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. I hate this thread. Hate it. It bespeaks the same kind of attitude that put US citizens in camps because they had the misfortune to be Japanese at a time when we were at war with the country their forebears came from. I dunno. If she feeds it to her family, it's not made like conventional dog food, which is actually kind of disgusting. Google and see what actually goes into most of the food we feed our pets. It sounds like it's a form of protein powder that can be fed to anyone. And it can't be that much worse than a nutrition bar or the various protein powders that are sold for rather high prices in most stores.
