Morgan Freeman: Black History Month is ridiculous
RhondaLea replied to GTAVercetti's topic in Speakers Corner
Me too! He falls into the "Objectively, I shouldn't find this man sexy but, damn, he's sexy" category for me. Y'know, Krisanne... I've never looked at him objectively until you wrote that. Not once. So I went and looked at a picture of him, and I said to myself, "Damn, she's right." But I'll tell you something, if he crooked his finger at me, I'd be all over him. He makes my toes curl. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -
Yes, but sex doesn't come with enemas in real life. Though sometimes, I'm sure we wish it did. I fixed it for ya. But it also gives the statement the possibility of being untrue. Even with an enema beforehand, you're still dealing with unfriendly bacteria. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

I've been in love with Morgan Freeman for years for more reasons than I can count. He's awesome. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -
The girls in the porno don't seem to mind which hole it comes from.. When I become a porn star, you'll be the first to know. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Sometimes "PM Sent" is the message. There's a context for that, but I'm too lazy to look for an example. I agree with what Kristi and Krisanne wrote, but it's not always because something is private, exactly, but because what one can say publicly and what one would say publicly are two different things. And sometimes it's just a joke. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

You didn't distinguish between the orifices being penetrated. It makes a whole lot of difference to me. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Talk to the doctor. Usually the fall is caused by the break (spontaneous breaks happen often to old bones), not the other way around. Good thoughts sent. Hang in there. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

You're in the wrong forum, dude. That was Ian's thread, not the "Anal Sex" thread. But you'll have to excuse me; I have to run to catch a plane so I can visit retribution on the tee shirt shredder and all his kith and kin. Assuming he's not already dead, of course. Was he breathing when you left? When anyone, male or female, says "no," it means no. And he should pay for it. No excuses. Do you want me to come beat him up for you if he fails to pay up? rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Someone close to me had prostate cancer. In my reading on the subject, I came across a factoid or two. I don't know anything about Womans Own, but I I'm surprised that a committed heterosexual male would sneer at the incredible impact Helen Gurley Brown had on the expression of female sexuality. I take it you prefer 50s-style sex? rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

I didn't get that It's a pretty common response to seeing someone thin. Very PC - PC=accepted as socially ok to be cruel or unfair. But don't call a girl fat or anything!!! you'll get screamed at for being insensitive. OH the hypocrisy. The question was: hot or not? If hot to you is anorexia nervosa, that's good with me, but she still looks to me like she's not getting enough to eat. If you want to talk about the relative merits of being fat or thin, I once weighed (for about two months) 205 pounds, and right now I could stand to lose ten and get some exercise. I'll happily talk about that too. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -

I first read about the process they used to create them in Stiffs. "Everything you ever wanted to know about dead bodies but were afraid to ask." It's one of the neatest books I've ever read. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Should we be able to vote someone off of DZ.com??

Yes, and if someone posts about using kittens as wind indicators (Hi Mac ), or says bad things about NPS (428 & 194, your rebuttals were great), or , your sport will never be respected either...much less legalized. (Not that it's illegal, right now, or haven't you been paying attention?) It was a single incident that has already been forgotten by most people outside the community. Everyone here already knows that John's behavior was less than one would expect from the sort of people who are so cool that everything within 25 feet instantly freezes when they pass, and he has been roundly criticized for it. It's not that he doesn't deserve it, but that dead horse is starting to spatter when you beat it. On the plus side, you get full credit for bringing Skin out of hibernation. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

I voted no. First, the owner of the board and his delegates are--and should be--the only persons who get to make such a decision. I don't always agree with how things are done here, and I have expressed that to some mods in PMs and once or twice in a post, but given that Sangiro pays the freight and the moderators do the work, I think they are well within their rights to do whatever they want, no matter how wrong I--or anyone--think them to be. The fact that those in control try very hard to follow the stated rules regardless of their personal feelings is to their credit. If you allow for a board-wide referendum to control, the only thing that can happen is that all hell will break loose. Second, not everyone has recurring encounters with the personality disordered, and they are therefore most vulnerable to the predations of the PD because they lack experience. But we're all going to come across at least one or two in a lifetime, and if we have something to compare the real-life people to, perhaps we will be quicker to see how we're being manipulated. I know who inspired this post, and I can tell you that from very early on, he has been a deja-vu experience for me. All in all, I'm glad he showed up, because my first time around with such a person, I fell for "humor as a mask for irredeemable meanness" and it did a lot of damage in my life to accept such behavior as normal--always looking for the good that I expected to find under the obnoxious and repelling exterior. People tend to repeat their bad experiences until they get them right. Being able to take the random shot here and there has been quite satisfying to me, but the best part is that I'm not the only person who sees him for what he is. I didn't get that kind of affirmation the first time around, and it was very hard to deal with. To know that others are aware this is not the way people are supposed to act is comforting. So, as I said, no. There are too many good reasons for not voting someone off the board, and everyone has a killfile of the mind, if they choose to use it. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Well, here's the test. My score is below. What surprised me, though, were some of the questions, and some of my answers to them. Accepting Your love is 33 unconditional! You are the epitome of a healthy point of view on unconditional love. You know when it would start to be unacceptable to date someone, but are still very open to various sorts of people. Though it may be difficult at times, it still enriches your life and allows you to experience various things that you wouldn't otherwise. Carry on! :) The test scale is from -76 to 79. My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender: You scored higher than 99% on unconditional If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.
