    Well, I must admit to a certain amount of embarrassment here, because I was not paying attention. And apparently, I'm not the only one. I still believe that the video should be a historical record; however, if Triax explained what they were planning to do (and they did--on Friday and on Saturday), it's not their fault that some people weren't following along. What Tom said in the poll thread is true: the BD video has always been the subject of whining. Will (RIP, darlin') used to take a lot of shit for everything about which it was possible to bitch and then some. But if these guys told everyone (the Friday meeting was mandatory, remember?) what they intended to do, the only point open to debate that I can see is what the video should be next time, not what it is this time. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.     Back in the day, the reason many women gave their daughters on the eve of their weddings was "It is the price we pay to have children." On the other hand, I'm pretty sure there are certain cultures in which sexual pleasure for women has always been accepted. Jewish husbands were admonished to please their wives, but I'll be damned if I even know where to begin to look for that reference. I, for instance, don't volunteer to do certain things in bed, but I'm perfectly willing to do nearly anything if it'll make my partner happy. So if a guy doesn't suggest anal sex, it doesn't happen.     The Bridge Day video is a historical record, not a "base video," per se. People buy other base videos to see unusual or themed jumps or to see what their friends are doing or to see what's new. They buy the Bridge Day video as a memento of the year's biggest base boogie, as well as to see themselves jumping. You should've have warned people that you were going for "artistic" this year.     As well as women's history. March is "Women's History Month," and it's just as ridiculous a concept. I don't think we can do away with "black" as a descriptor any more than than we can do away with "woman" as a descriptor.
