well said. well done. I like Clamato! My dog likes Clamto! My cats will slurp Clamato. The cyotes absolutely love the stuff... nuff said. There were no charts for 9:00pm that I am aware of. Just 6am and 6pm. Maybe somebody had a 9:00pm chart or prediction Im unaware of. I guess somebody did or you wouldnt be using that? But, the NWS charts for 6:00pm were pretty specific. Cook and I have been discussing this over at Sluggo's forum and I think Galen has this pretty well nailed. I am sure Soderlind and his group had it pretty well nailed, ie. their NWA probability chart. As Cook points out, everything is very consistent with Bohan's report. Now whether Cooper was affected by "that local weather pattern" is another matter entirely. If Jerry & H are correct, Cooper was not affected and that makes the NWA probability map more nearly correct, at least in a general sense. To quote one researcher who has never been named in this regard: "The people who considered this (at NWA and elsewhere) were very smart people. They had the best data available. Cooper may have bailed and landed near Merwin Lake after all. The money at Tina Bar may have come from the Lewis River by a means yet to be explained." The Washougal washdown via the flood of 1977 is the more plausable scenario. Another twist to this story may be: the FBI never had all of the data which would have been useful in sorting this matter out. The public assumes the FBI was in control and had/has all of the data but I have very sound reasons to suspect that was never the case. So far as I can tell it may not have been the FBI assembling and evaluating the "data" but others. In order to model an even you need data. If the FBI doesnt have the data how can they model anything? And anything the public does is pure speculation based on scanty evidence and rumor. I have always felt the FBI was in one hell of a negative position and disadvantaged from the start. They did a massive sweep complimented by others in LE, agencies, etc etc etc and still nothing firm connected to identify Cooper or any other firm evidence in this case. Taken at face value you would almost be forced to say 'there was nothing to find'. There are just some mysteries you have to put behind you and move on - as difficult as that is for 'some' to do.

This is too stupid to even reply to - But this is a thread for very stupid people - Keep up the good work! PEACE & LOVE!

Sheridan I am Georger. I have a simple question or two: Where were you during the Cooper Hijacking Novem, ber 24, 1971? Have you ever lived or worked in Washington? Were you investigated as being Cooper and what's that all about? Thanks, Georger

snowmman was on this forum for a little short of 2-years. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, resulting in an enema. I guess Snowmman didnt make it out of the woods after all. Maybe he didnt want to continue? It sounded that way at times, very strongly.

I missed this or would have replied - sorry. Its been a little nuts lately? Guess I need to go back and read everything.... Guess you guys will figure everything out. Hope so. G

I believe that really happened! Like the phone company cutting me off saying I hadn't paid my phone bill - and the SS saying I owe them bunches of money. See Jo that's a lesson. You need to take up amateur radio and join an astronomy club, teach kids, and eat catfgish every Friday night ... and give up the Cooper chase. Life will be a lot smoother? Isnt that what I have advised all along? 377 too! Even Snowmman and Sluggo made the recommendation. Youc an leave out the catfish Friday nights if you want - ... back to the Olympics!
-
Its just an active inquiring mind. Thats the common denominator, and a certain social affinity or something - birds of a feather. ? I am proud to say I knew Art Collins. We crossed paths my first year at college here after knowing about Grote Geber in Illinois - radio astronomy was one of my passions at the time. Seems like only yesterday.

Your post is 1000% on target! Your photos priceless and true. Every serious ham could write a book... your Dad was absolutely correct. The young harpee even called the DOT claiming I was selling "junk cars" and storing them on property! One she cited my 1987 mint Ram Van which has only 30k actual miles, is insured every year, which I drove just yesterday. She said that "old pieceof shit van" had not moved in three years. Your post is priceless and much appreciated! 88s and 73s to your Dad! . . I will add: I was first lisensed in 1958 as a kid.

and also your schizophrenic neighbors private conversations? How do you get enough dynamic range to avoid severe splatter on the thunder claps? AGC with fast attack? 377 I have no idea, never gave it a thought. A buddy of mine (engineer for university radio station) and I just slapped it all together and hauled it out to my garage, used a small tape recorder pointed, poped in tapes, pointed it up in a thunder storm, and the recordings are amazing (clear as a bell). I had an old socalled 'long range mic' on a stick slavaged from a junk box so we used that. Maybe the mic controled the dynamic range - I do not know. But pointed at the grass in the summer time we actually heard worms and crickets moving around! The engineer took one of the tapes to play at the radio station - people loved it! Small versions of this are used at football games to record sounds on the field ... I suppose snoops use gear like this ... we just did it for fun.
-
If you want to have some fun some time take a 8-12ft dish and place a microphone at the focus. You will hear every cricket for 20 miles and thunderstorms are magnificent.

Its my 160m vertical. Its guyed 2/3rds of the way up with lines to my roof (has nothing to do with the ground) and one of the lines slipped its knot about 3 months ago. Ive been waiting for storms and ice to abate so I could get up there and reattach the line.
-
People are nuts! Two days ago I went out with my ladder to reattach a guy line to one of my antennas. The area snoop saw that called the area schizophrenic who drove up my drive asking "why!" I was listening to his private conversations in his house - he lived down the road. (He hasnt been lisensed to drive for almost 10 years but he drives anyway!) The schizophrenic reported back to the snoop and she notified the cable company, teh sherriff, and a board of supervisor's member one of which showed up at my door an hour ago. The cable company is demanding to know why! I did not get Call-1 Ground Locator services in here to approve my attaching a nylon line 40 feet up "in the air"! People are nuts. I told this moron from the cable company he needed to discuss all ground locator issues with the FAA. He said he would! The sherriff just shook his head. He said he's going down to talk to the neighborhood snoop to tell her any further calls to his office and they will start charging her for every trip theyhave to make investigating her complaints. He asked me if my new guy line works!

guess again, shit fer brains. It was Jo's thread. Now it is 377 and the Jerk's thread. You have what these people are capable of giving you. Be happy!

Sheridan published and posted quite a bit about himself and the FBI's suspicion that he was Cooper. It isn't like it was all under wraps until we stirred it up. He can have all the slack he wants and is apparently taking it. He hasn't responded to anything lately. I do feel for the guy, late stage cancer is a miserable experience. I do hope Sheridan is not beyond medical help. While we are discussing compassion, don't forget that Jo is not a well woman and deserves our kind thoughts too, aside and apart from all her Duane is Cooper stuff. Let's "nice up" this forum a bit. Kindness, respectful differing, all that corny stuff. 377 I will say this. The FBI has been criticised for its lack of deep searches. Sheridan's case may help put that claim in perspective, along with 1056+ others... Apologies to Grins for my terse comment. This seems the appropriate time to do that.
-
all Im saying is its damned miserable any way you cut it ... wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy ... so calling the guy out may have been bad timing. ... I have no doubt he might have a lot for you skydivers ... hopfully he can deliver when he's up to it but give the guy some slack! That includes Jerry! I hope you didnt mind my giving a little history as I understand it.
-
Sheridan, Eagle Eye Winsor the Mud Hut Albert Schweitzer and Cooper wannabe is genuinely sick ... very sick .... very very very ill .... in pain ... no energy ... and fill in the blanks for yourself. Bring the old man back here to please yourself! What is there about "abject misery" you Humanitarians dont understand? Please yourself. Go to a bar. (edit)) I have an idea. Get him back in a different thread. No Cooper questions. Talk skydiving only. Make him feel at home. That would be the appropriate place and thing ... ? This Cooper thread is nothing but trouble.

I hope Mr. Sheridan lives up to your expectations. If he comes back at all. Good luck Sparky.

Galen Cook has spewed bullshit about flares, but I thought flares were only used to illuminate N-ways, either for docking location or photographs. I'd also like to hear about early flour bag stuff. Hey Jerk! Once again you are factually wrong. Now dont throw a tit! Go suck your Jack Daniels.

DO I HAVE YOUR "PERMISSION" TO READ THIS GROUP !? .... IF I STAY SILENT?

Simple question: Where were you on 11-24-71, if you recall? G. Well at least you can't suspect me... I was in Milwaukee Wisconsin and I did not make my first jump till mid August 1972 in south Florida....on the edge of the Everglades... big mosquitos... LOTS of them... and snappers..BIG SNAPPERS.. you could see them down below the flight path as we were taking off to the west . not a good place to land out.. Funny

Hi georger. I run this thread, the CSG and the world. I am God. the Pope. The Messiah. Hi Troll: So which one are you? Dvorak or Myers? Which one is 377?

This super-dolt SNOWMMAN does not speak for me in any way, shape, or form. Be your own judge. He thinks he runs this thread and everything else on the planet. Be your own judge. Good luck with these dolts.
