  1. And this, in a nutshell, is why TK thinks there is a piece of the story missing. Quote Deputy Jones: 'if the money is here, Cooper was here'. He may have been returning to Portland after landing and something happened ? BTW: did this Hippie surplus clothing store exist at Portland in the 70s ? (shirt sized green store bags ?) https://www.oregonlive.com/entertainment/erry-2018/05/96d191c51d6900/14_more_longgone_portland_stor.html
  2. Which pharmacy - where ! I think that color is distinctive. ?
  3. Any smoker needs a backup? Had cigs and a few basics in the green paper bag ? What store in the area packaged people's purchases in green paper bags? Any? Green shopping bags is a little distinctive in that era? An upscale paper bag? A bag from an airport store?
  4. I wish I had had this when I talked to the old deputy. This is not the description of stolen items the deputy mentioned. He mentioned a pair of new boots, as in work boots. Sorry.
  5. I think its a big mistake to make ANY assumptions about Cooper, beyond what most people would do in a crisis where one is being sought and apprehended. Im not sure he is even alive after the jump. Based on what most jumpers say, he probably is. But somehow several bundles of his money escapes? his control to wind up at Tena Bar years later. That breaks a smooth transition scenario out of Dodge and I tend to agree with Tom: something went wrong in an otherwise smooth escape ? I hope Tom's new bills reveal something!
  6. Cooper's first and only priority is to get OUT of the area asap! He isnt going to screw around and waste time doing a break-in to steal new work boots! The store sits just feet from a major rural railroad-highway cross roads that people use all the time. . . . . . and why leave a calling card! COOPER WAS HERE! The information I have is 'the boots were found and returned ... the store owner declined to press charges. ??? There is no file, not even the old call log. The og store owner is long dead. The new store owner loves all the attention but knows nothing...
  7. Others would question that. Im seriously about people's worked being tested, re-checked, and questioned.
  8. It never hurts to check things out independently - also call the Sheriff's Dept and see where you get with them. They told me files from 1971 were expunged long ago, but who knows. They do charge a fee for searches.
  9. Since there is no written statement from any source then it is unconfirmed. Its not for lack of trying. In retrospect I should have stayed out of this ........... its still open for anyone to pursue. Good luck. My interest in the Cooper case is less every day.
  10. Understand I do. ................................ never mind. Do as you like, or, like as you do.
  11. I never knew your grandmother! STOP pestering me about your grandmother! LEARN HOW TO READ!
  12. September 1, 2023 D. B. Cooper and Flight 305: the CIA connection After a wait of over three years, I received a response from the Central Intelligence Agency to my FOIA request dated 18 July 2020. In that request, I had asked for the following:
  13. I think you are being overly dramatic about this. Any lab must determine firsthand what they are dealing with before anything can proceed. An inspection must occur before any judgements can be made. Lay people are usually not qualified or equipped to make this analysis/judgement! Rumors do not qualify as evidence in Lab matters! Permissions must also be obtained! You have no legal standing in this parachute issue!! Presumably, Mr Hayden would have to give permission and make arrangements personally before his chute can be tested by ............. whomever. The issue of some finger print powder automatically destroying dna, a-priori....., is a puzzlement to me since you give no particulars. Be careful not to transport that chute in a 1933 Ford as those Fords may kill or eliminate all dna testing of everything and everyone associated with that FORD! Transport only in a city bus or a garbage truck. .
  14. what finger print powder that was used in in this case are you talking about? chemical composition ?
  15. It would be nice to have a start point for the money transport to Tena Bar. Cooper's LZ would be a good place to start?
  16. Good to see people hashing things out - in a friendly productive manner!
  17. what is the green line ? what does it trace?
  18. What is the line you have traced in green ? A creek? Railroad ???
  19. All roads lead to Rome ... and all Columbia water leads to .... you guessed it! TENA BAR! It was a flood that brought Cooper money to Tena Bar because, you cannot have a Columbia flood without something precious, rare, vital, and significant being left on Tena Bar. Tena Bar is a worm hole that draws important stuff in. Should we look for the unredacted transcripts on ..... Tena Bar (of course we should). Everything Cooper passed through Tena Bar. Discovery Channel Excavation of Tena Bar coming soon - looking for: The Arc of the Covenant, Dead Sea Scrolls, Moses and the Ten Commandments, and Noah and his Ark ... left after a flood. The Discovery Channel will look for special rays and electromagnetic emanations that radiate from Tena Bar. Was the Arc in its bag, or just one strap of Arc bundles ? The whole bag of money was conveyed to TBar during that flood. It was just one strap of money that stayed. It stayed because the Almighty left a sign for humans to ponder and consort about.
  20. My guess is nothing will alter 99's mission. He is his mission.
  21. 2008, 2009 ........ 3049! Who cares? I just didnt look up the dates. Your petty crap does not prove Cooper jumped or landed over or on Tena Bar! It does not prove there is any direct connection between DB Cooper and money being found on Tena Bar. There is no evidence of DB Cooper on the Moon, either. Whatever the date you came here, I dont recall that your original work even claimed a direct connection between the flight path and Tena Bar? Maybe I missed that. I dont know or care. It was Ulis who first made an issue of this, as far as I recall, but it does not matter in any event. For the record, I called and asked Wayne Walker if he believed your claims: he said "No". He let you publish on his website in any event because he thought it was the 'fair' thing to do, in order to promote open discussion. For the record, he did not believe Jo Weber's claims either ............ I actually thought your work trying to get money to TBar via an inland water route was pretty interesting and had potential. Tom examined the Washougal option but found nothing to substantiate it. That left your inland water route as a viable option ... for a time.
  22. When you figure it out be sure and let me and the world know. Why dont you go back to what you were doing in 2008 ie. commenting on streams, hydrology, etc which might have an influence on Tena Bar . You were better at that than on your redacted west path baloney. And, you might actually read Carr's recent comments posted by OleMiss rather than preaching to others to "read" it? What you are posting makes no sense in the here and now! You lost your way about 2008. Its your choice! Frankly R99 I am not interested in anything further from you.
  23. That is probably the next move. Im in favor of anything that shifts focus away from .... west path noodle soup ? Assuming the wp is no longer a factor, we shift back to where things were before that card counting shape shifter nonsense began. How then did money get to Tbar. We are back where we started! Yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Especially if we stipulate that money did not fall directly from 305 into the Columbia. That brings us back to where Deputy Jones said we were in 1980, quote: "If the money is here, Cooper was here, or someone with the money was here, somewhere close enough to have the flow of the Columbia finish the story ...." ? Cousin Jones favored the 1974 dredging option!
