I get the impression that people like Georger have no patience for people who has not done their homework, __________________________________________________ Oh I have plenty of patience. But the context matters. ... not sure any of this applies here. Im not special.

Nope.. Logging roads. no plows at all EVER.. they do run a grader over the main roads up there after the spring rut season. If it was me making that jump I would have gotten out of the area NOT to the west.. but to the east.. and come out at Trout Lake... just my opinion. All roads in that area... go up or go down, and little roads will eventually head down to a larger.. lower numbered FS road.. Finding a road is usually pretty easy if you go downhill. There is a main low number forest service road that heads over that way from the Lakes. Totally unexpected by the ground pounders who were out looking. What is your starting point - drop point vs. FBI flight path? I dont think anyone has ever suggested a route out this far east _how then do you account for money at Tina Bar? Amboy or Ariel to Trout Lake.. easy. on the way... you cross Wind River it comes out at Carson.. you could even exit that way in the Columbia River Gorge. There are all kinds of logging roads in that area.. ANY good Forest Service or County map shows them. Stick to the lower numbers and those are the mainlines. most of the roads are fairly flat to travel.. and at night you can see lights coming or hear a vehicle coming to get off the road. Interesting. What kind of time estimate would you allow for traversing this route until you arrive at the Columbia? And then what !? [Edit] I must ask - how do you account for money at Tina Bar if the above route out applies?

I may not know every detail on the Cooper case, but I'm not bad at rooting out crap from people either. People even got angry at me for questioning the FBI's results on the Amboy chute. They defended Cossey's one-sided assessment and simply forgave the Seattle FBI's ridiculous statements on it. Not my fault they tried to push that weak-ass story on everyone. Then the whole thing got buried. There are the academics in this case. And then there are the renegades who question everything. I see myself more as the latter. Question Everything.

I'm guessing Cooper may have gotten a general idea where he was on the way down, assuming he pulled the ripcord right off the stairs. (Lights from interstate 5 maybe, or he figured out which way was west on the way down and kept it in mind) Then he probably just walked out from there. If he was in a really bad spot, he probably waited for first light. Marla's tale about someone cruising Forest Service roads, picking up an uncle within a short time, and making it back to Sisters in the morning...well, let's just say it's a bit of a stretch. Nope.. Just where do you get your information? I was there! Has nothing to do with Sluggo. Its not open for discussion. Good night.
-
Jo, you have tried to start "threads" in everybody's back yard at one time or another. The list of places is long over a decade. A hopeless task. Others started another thread at another location where you were not allowed - that prospered and became the basis for FBI assets having a discussion and this site was selected due to the presence of an open Cooper thread and the fact of skydivers and pilots and technical people being here, which is what everyone wanted... you dear were irrelevant! READ THE THREAD!
-
True enough.
-
Total nonsense! Where do you guys come up with total nonsense like this - Ckret brought himself and a few others here (after a number of discussions) specifically BECAUSE OF THE SKYDIVER and PILOT community here; because parachuting and the flight path are central in the DB Cooper case. Ckret wanted the opinions of the skydiver and pilot community here. This is stated clearly in the thread if you and others would bother to READ THE THREAD as opposed to making stuff up to make yourselves look important. And following Ckret's departure here several people were asked to stay here ... or at least monitor this website. Those are the facts whether you and Blevins and Weber like it or not. Jo Weber had absolutely nothing to do with Ckret and others coming here, in fact at first people came here thinking they could operate here in spite of Jo Weber being here, but that was not to be, and she did play a role in people leaving and closing down the fact-giving at this website. And that is a fact. Those are the facts.

On Georger: He jumps on every post I make, no matter what it is. So IMHO his credibility, his opinions, mean zip to me. You have to pick and choose when to jump down someone's throat, and that should be for 'ridiculous assumptions' only, not because you just don't like someone. So I don't care what he says. That situation probably isn't going to get any better. We've both been banned twice now, mostly for arguing. These days I either ignore his posts, or respond to them in a comedic manner, rather than getting angry. Once in a while he brings up a sensible point on something without insults, and then I will answer that normally, more or less. quite obviously its not in your interests to allow any real discussions here - same with Jo. so play your song and dance again, Marilyn. It started with your tatack against Sluggo . . . and here we are today with nothing changed. Gray was right about you! And nobody now cares -
-
I disagree with this statement. Suppose tomorrow a new person posted up here with 100% definitive proof on who was DB Cooper. I mean irrefutable evidence The odds of that happening with YOU here is very very low - Nobody is going to dip ther good evidence in shit. In my opinion, you have fouled Dropzone for a long time to come. There has been discussion. Jo also - There really is a limit to what people will put up with.
-
That's nothin! I once had to read twelve long RobertMBlevins posts in a row - was sick for a month. Doc said: " Just call _____________ about that ____________ and that will cure the whole problem. So I did!" C K

For the record: I don't think Marla is nuts. I think she has ADD and is an opportunist. I don't believe Jo is nuts, either. She could even be right. But you need evidence to prove a case, or at least some witnesses who might be able to further that case a bit. Cook isn't nuts. But he's motivated to somehow prove Gossett was the hijacker, even if he has go out on some nutty limbs in the attempt. The Janet Fable, etc. All the guy has to really do is interview the people who worked with Gossett at Fort Lewis around the time of the hijacking, and he hasn't done that. This is counterproductive to his appearances on Coast-to-Coast radio, since he might find out that Gossett was Present and Accounted For at the time of the crime. Can't have that happen... Everyone is nuts except RobertMBlevins aka 'Marilyn Monroe'. Blevins is just jealous and in need of a personality transplant!
-
Or the gullible made more gullibuley ... or the maldum made more fornaxy ... Yep;. Too wierd for words. Play it again Jethro. Say whatever comes out of your mind.
-
Jo, I notice that you only list your "recent" posts as not putting you in the Blevins category. Do your earlier rantings move you into that category? If Blevins objected to that, I think he would be correct. Robert99 I have a category now. Well, that's something anyway. I always thought I was in THIS category. Relax. You are still several "categories" above the Bob Knoss and Jo Weber category. Robert99 How's the RobertMBlevins Thread going ? Making any progress _ toward the discovery of feral Cooperites?

The investigation into Christiansen may or may not result in him being revealed as D.B. Cooper. But a 'hoax' implies a deliberate lie, or possibly many lies, to support a case. Oh! So it is not a hoax but world class rank stupidity, deserving of a Guinness World Record? And YOU win either way? I should have guessed that part. Have a nice "you". "Investigation"? Did yous ay "investigation"? What "investigaytion" ? I get it! FUNNY!
-
Jo you are badly misinformed and deluded concerning me. You always have been. That you have learned nothing about me in all these years defines your agenda. You owe Sluggo an apology for having wasted his time and everyone elses.
-
Now you'll understand when I have suggested to you that doing things like this makes your credibility suffer. Common sense is lacking here, Georger. Blind support for someone just because you don't like someone else is a credibility issue. And just for the record: Name one piece of hard evidence that really puts Gossett on the suspect list. Not allowed: Testimony from family members who have something to gain, or dead witnesses whose statements cannot be verified by a second party today. By the way, working on the Cooper case is not a tenure thing, nor do you 'advance' just by being at it longer than others. It's the results you obtain that matters. And Cook's results, so far, are seriously lacking. After all these years, when I was the first to suggest that Cook and/or the Seattle FBI simply start interviewing the people Cook worked with in the military, and try to discover his whereabouts at the time of the crime...you didn't support that idea, either. Credibility. "Just because you fail once doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything..." Marilyn Monroe OK Marilyn. You and Jo should form a Hoaxer's Union, and charge each other $500 annual dues. Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed, Then one day he was shootin at some food, And up through the ground came a bubblin crude. Cooper that is, toy gold, wacko tea, hoaxer meal. The Cooper Books Hoaxers Circle Jerk Competition Elimination. CBHCJCE. You have to be a Hoaxer in good standing and a little more than paranoid to join . . .

The last is correct, your first is not. Do some fact checking - You sure rely on Geoff Gray a lot! Read the thread. Werent you or arent you still a lay-preacher? I laid a preacher's daughter once when I was a teenager. Does that count? Otherwise, no. As you've probably heard, all science fiction writers go straight to Hell when they die. I mean they don't even let you try to pitch your case to St Peter at the friggin' gate. Gray is just another source. Like Tosaw, Himmelsbach, and the other Cooper book folks. If Mucklow didn't quit the airline, then did the convent let her out on weekends at least to do the domestic routes? I could just see that. Instead of a red uniform, she comes down the aisle with the meals dressed in a habit. She could say grace over the meal for the passenger as she handed it to them. A real time-saver for the passenger, I'm sure. I didn't say WHEN she quit, but she obviously quit the airline at some point, and before any kind of retirement pay was due to her. I haven't researched Mucklow as much as others have. If she stayed with the airline for a while after the hijacking, she gets an 'A' for guts. It's a TRUTH thing. (your words oft repeated at DZ) I think after the hijacking, Mucklow was so shaken up she decided to 'split the whole scene' for good. (your words) I didn't say WHEN she quit. (your words) Well yes you did - you said "Mucklow was so shaken up she decided to 'split the whole scene' for good." Its your loseness with facts, then you always say you didnt say something when in fact you did - And you say: "Its a TRUTH thing". Its a CREDIBILITY thing. It would be easy to say 'I made a mistake', but each you say: "I didnt day that" (when you did). And you say "Its a TRUTH thing" - truth capitalised. And the implication of your original statement is, in your words: " Mucklow was so shaken up she decided to 'split the whole scene' for good. " You are claiming she left immediately due to stress from the incident - "so shaken up" you say. When in fact that's not true. Its a CREDIBILITY thing. And you are always attacking other people's credibility. But this thread has become for entertainment and you are entertaining to some. Keep you the good entertainment in that no-credibility fashion. You're on safe entertainment ground here where nobody really cares .. in spite of using words like TRUTH and CREDIBILITY which you use all the time. Oh well ... This is why I have no time for your complaints about Cook. Its like the pot calling the kettle black. Except that Cook has done some real research, even hiered people to dosome real research, Cook actually talks to the FBI, conducts interviews, shares some real information ... then admitedly has some lose ends like the Tina affair. Youc an be critical of Cook all you want. On top of your own infamous misfires its blowing smoke and in fact, Cook doesn't give a shit what you say or think. It iritates him sometimes but then he is back to business in five minutes; Cook sees you as completely irrelevant. I think he has a more realistic attitude than you do, and Cook has been at this far longer than you have .. Have a nice day.

You do realize the man in the Salt Lake pic is TOO young to be anyone in the Camino Pic....but perhaps a son or a younger brother? The man in the photo is probably wondering what the 'two people on the camel' is all about - not what you encounter in everyday life back then. Good thing he didn't have a purse to snatch!

A lot of people dont have such a place where they really do feel safe and can make personal progress in. Tina was lucky in that respect. Urbanisation has removed lots fo places people used to go to and use - For some people its a book ...

You know something nobody else knows? Is she in danger fron nasturtiums and mums? Her family told Bruce she was fine. Maybe you and she could become good friends? How many Coffee, Tea or Me types of that era ended running to a convent?? Tina came from a deeply religious family background, considered a devoted life in her teens, had a high profile marraige after the hijacking, that ended and she took time off to reflect and examine her priorities in an environment commensurate with her background - many people do that in one form or another. Everyone has a place they retreat to to think, reflect, rest, and plan ... including you.
