+1 And how dare you say a fucking thing about it. Now some assclown will bring on his personal attack for saying that. Or "assclowness" ? Why discriminate? Its a bell curve with two ends! And this bell curve seems to be quite wide with ample representation of all genders of equally superior beings! I mean we are all searching for THE TRUTH. Right. Maybe you, Aamazon, need to be telling the forum what we should be discussing, what is relevant to DB Cooper case, what needs to be known and not known or discussed ... and then there would be some structure and less bitching? Because I am just an "assclown", and I don;t get it! Just too damned dumb I guess ... or corrupt ... or something. I probably was born under the wrong rock, or something ... It's like an Olympics here. Lot's of us just don't qualify! And never will!

Thank you georger....here is the Seattle skyline as seen through my camera. This was taken on Thursday, April 18th, 2013.Quote Beautiful photo Vicki - I saved it for my collection. Thanks! I really like your avatar. Great combination. Great color tones.. G.

UhOh! I knew it would be something bad! Do they inspect bridges in WA? In FL they are inspected regularly, but the bridge near me gives me the willys crossing over to the Gulf. Keep wondering why they continue to spend money to fix a 2 lane bridge that is heavily used. There was NOTHING on our news tonight - here in the South. An oversize truck hit a couple of the beams which took out the integrity of the bridge. Send in the Seabees and the Corps of Engineers!

The 4 lane I5 bridge over the north end of the Skagit River has collapsed north of Seattle. Cars in the water ... reports. See KING5 News - http://www.king5.com/

If that is an accurate bust, Cooper is dead, after his stint on a TV comedy show of course. MattQuote That would depend on which sketch you follow ... doesn't match any of them that I can see. The hair however is interesting and seems to match Geoff's description? Now if there were some skeletal remains ...

I know what ephemeris means (a calculation on the distance between two orbital bodies at any given time, or a celestial position, usually provided on a data table) although the 'maximum' term was a bit off. That's so Knoss would figure out what I meant after he looked up the word. Big deal. I'm pretty sure that I understand one thing about you above all else: Quote No Blevins! An ephemeris is: "A table giving the coordinates of a celestial body at a number of specific times during a given period. Or, " a tabular statement of the assigned places of a celestial body for regular intervals..." Or, "Table of the positions of celestial bodies at regular intervals, often with supplementary information. Constructed as early as the 4th century BC, ephemerides are still essential to astronomers and navigators. Modern ephemerides are calculated, with heavy computing and careful checking, after a mathematical description of a heavenly body's observed motion has been evolved. Various national ephemerides are published regularly; the U.S. ephemeris, first published in 1852, became the best and is now published jointly with the U.K. as The Astronomical Almanac. It is not: "(a calculation on the distance between two orbital bodies at any given time..." (yours above). The issue is not how smart I am, but what your motives are for talking crap you don't know anything about, firsthand! Then turning around and telling others they dont know what they are talking about! Like Jo does. Like Knoss does... Which leads to the more basic issue: what business is it of yours at all? Then it would be fair to ask: 'what business is it of Georger's?" Answer: Astrometry and Spectroscopic Parallax are longtime semi-professional interests of mine for more than 50 years.
-
Quote There is no such term "maximum ephemeris"... unless you are writing your so-called book in Ebonics? Which leads to the deeper question: "what business is it of yours"? Here is an ephemeris and some toons for ya . BTW, Knoss uses the same psychic you do! (and saw the same ufo).

Wong Whey, you are committed to finding nothing in the first place. I did not contribute to anything, right. I am contributing now. You don't want to hear my input because it is in conflict with what you want people to think. I believe it is better to know what really happened. The people should know what our Government does for us and HOW they do it. Illegal, underhanded, and taking advantage of our best citizens to trick play legislation. And YOU apparently approve of this technique. Bob, you couldn't sell your story at the Flea market at 50% off......nobody's buying it Bobby.....game over... Quote ... from Cookie Monster to pro wrestler to DB Cooper. I think I see a pattern in Bob's plan ...

+1 (Nailed it!) Quote+14 (Nailed it!) The bad news: it won't matter. None of this is about DB Cooper.

After an advanced search effort at Bing and Google, I could turn up absolutely NO internet references on that name, except for his post at Mountain News, and the mention of his name here. Those were already picked up by Google. Another consideration: If the CC name is a USERNAME, it was created ONLY for the Mountain News post, and is used nowhere else on any forums or threads on the internet. Nor is the name mentioned by others on the internet in posts. In other words, it is a one-time-deal. Also a no-match on any open phone numbers in the Northwest. However...it IS sometimes possible to track someone's IP address by a post, and this would be the only clue to his identity. BTW: It's true I post up a lot sometimes. But I post up a lot LESS when people stop with the insults. You don't have to agree with me on a point. But there's no use getting rude about it either...Angelic Thanks for the update, Bruce. Sounds like the cops don't have a lot of physical evidence here, or anything that is leading them to a suspect. I also wonder why someone would make up a one-time username and then hint he knew Cossey's personal habits, and how much cash he carried, etc. It's definitely weird that the ONLY person who has volunteered this information has taken steps to ensure he remains anonymous. The IP address can be tracked, but if the user has an internet provider (pretty much most people) than you will have to go to the ISP to find out who is behind the post. And ISP's don't give that info out to just anybody. Bruce: Sending you an email with more on this. 'Were it left to me to have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter...' Thomas Jefferson (This post was edited by RobertMBlevins on May 21, 2013, 9:36 PM) That post I made back there, the one you quoted without a realistic response? You make a senseless, unexplained insult? Nothing to back it up? Just more of THIS? Right. The troll job has definitely fallen to YOU. LOL. Better hurry and delete it. Or try to make it sound nicer with an edit. You do that sometimes. Why should I? It's accurate and true. All Bruce has to do is delete the guy's post! No point making a federal case of it for your personal glorification, is there!? I mean one troll chasing another troll who uses a fake nym ... surely you have something better to do with you time like: chase people with fake nyms. Uhhh... Its Bruce's site , not yours! Yes? How does it harm you? What has it got to do with YOU!? Like this at CNN and at Regina's site you have harped about for three years ? http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2011/09/01/secret-life-of- a-d-b-cooper-hijacking-witness-includes-disappearing- to-a-nunnery/ Now who would have thunk Crossroader is a real name? Had you fooled for a while! As if any of this you have brought up has anything at all to do with the Cooper thread? Or .... or! ... maybe it is a real person who knew Cossey and just wants to remain anonymous from people like you and Bruce? Did THAT ever cross your mind? What business is it of yours?

A troll for all seasons. And any reason.

Why conceal? This question coming from Jo? How incredibly ironic. 377 I can tell you that I have had this photo and other documentation for about 8 hours now, this is news to about 99% End message...... Roger. Wilco. 99. 44. 88. 32.

Once that pilot chute hits the 727 slipstream and extracts the canopy YOU ARE GOING. I doubt that you could hang on to the stairs if the main canopy streamered and failed to inflate. You agree Airtwardo? 377 sure looks that way ... we have to get a handle finally on the actual forces involved and some comparisons to smoke jumping and c47 military drops with gear ... actual numbers.

Hmmm now we have SafecrackingBlevins PLF! Are you up on your permutations/combinations? N! A or B .... or A, B, AB, BA ... 4! = 4x3x2 = 24 possibilities. Hmmmm. A paradox. Dont let your theories slap you up side of the head, as you fall, LOST. Think about it! oo oo ... what became of his choppers? That's false teeth. ? I was just out changing the oil in the bike thinking about that very thing...I'd say at LEAST that many possibilities! A lot depends on DBC's experience, knowledge and intentions, without a clue as to the facts surrounding those variables...the combination of possibilities is huge. Tie it to himself? ~As I said earlier, that's not as easy as it sounds. Fabricate a 'drop line' securing the package(s) to the end? ~If not done right that could cause significant problems with canopy deployment if in freefall. As mentioned possible problems on landing. Less so maybe if pulling while on the step but a knowledgeable skydiver most likely would not do that. A Smoke jumper-maybe. Tie some & hang onto some? ~Could be done, but he'd have to have been a jumper AND have a cool head & strong grip. The list of 'possibilities' is vast... without knowing his background the list of 'probabilities' is pretty short. Im beginning to agree - - - Im also finding myself revisiting those 'forces' the Boeing guys talked about (swore had to be a fact!). This was no casual jump from a C47 ... either Cooper was aware of the difference or he wasn't!
-
Yep - those choppers are an issue just as *765%$3* described. Yum yum. . I think all can agree - DB Cooper didnt look like that!
-
Not quite...with that canopy and that speed, it's more like jumping off a bungee jumping platform ~ with a log chain instead of a big rubber band. You're essentially decelerating from what...about 150 mph to almost zero in two heartbeats. now we are getting to real forces involved! not exactly like jumping from a c47 wwII with some stuff tied to you ....... lo forces. The kinds of forces you are describing are more in line with comments the Boeing club members described. Something tied around the mid section with those forces could displace a hip and cause a hernia?

Quote which "direction" did he pass the "paracord" around his waste and tie it off "how" ? Detauls matter. Time it took? Where was his head during the event? Where were his hands during the event? What was he muttering and in what language? Had he already collected things to take with him from the galley? What is the rate of recoil of the stairs? I like that post - you are right and I bet the FBI did NOT ask all of those questions in 1971!
-
On the money bag: Only thing for sure is that Cooper was seen tying some paracord around his waist, just before Mucklow closed the curtain. After that...?Quote which "direction" did he pass the "paracord" around his waste and tie it off "how" ? Detauls matter. Time it took? Where was his head during the event? Quote Duane wasn't a smoke jumper and neither are you! how about, was there ever any smoke jumpers with loafer and a watch???? actually, if I was a smoke jumper, I would of worn my suit and walked up to the counter with a pair of skis and a cap ja! my Ludfisk and boiled dinner in a brown paper bag. da sa jacklik vademaecum! ans my mucklucks... Weber. Isn't that Scadinavian? Oly Weber? Toiville and Uoiville Weber who ran log cabins in Akaslompolo and Yllas ...
-
Point of Order: I *think* Mucklow only saw him tying lines around the money bag, and another around his waist. I don't recall anything about Mucklow actually seeing him secure the money to his chest. If what I said there is true, then this could mean Cooper was planning on jumping with the money secured somewhat like the picture I have attached. I still wonder if Cooper might have just pulled the ripcord at the end of the stairs. One reason: No reserve chute. However, without a reserve...this could also mean Cooper DID tie the money to his chest. Who knows? The point here is I don't believe Mucklow saw him do that. Quote Duane waddnt a shmoke yumpper, and neidder ar youdsk!

You came to the thread LATE on. Do you know how Smokejumpers carried their packages? Check out this photoQuote Duane wasn't a smoke jumper and neither are you!

Guess you missed the part where I said they ALREADY caught him. I suggested he should be questioned. Seemed like a reasonable thought, since he hit a house less than two blocks from Cossey's place. Meyer Louie also says: ***'There's a lot more I want to say about this, but, unlike someone I know, I'm going to practice restraint and reserve comment...' Slightly hypocritical statement. You've suggested previously he could have been murdered, or set up for murder, by his ex-wife. I wouldn't call that 'restraint'. misdirected post #3,796.........you talking to Meyer or Shutter??????????????????????????? Blevins 'tangled web' never leads anywhere ... but to more tangled webs of abstraction. Who is Blevins trying to convince of what!? Does it ever matter? from what I gather, he is trying to prove it was a random burglary gone bad. he doesn't think the police can do this by themselves I guess? even though he said a while back that he wasn't going to update the case, but as you can clearly see this is not the case. I wonder how much longer before Detective Blevins puts the other unsolved Woodinville murders into this case? I think they were in 2001.....I'm kind of disappointed he hasn't updated us on those......they were nice people too... sounds like a community or area with a serious problem. I wonder if they have a private security patrol for that area? A few well placed security cameras would help too.
