It's interesting, out of the 3 Bundles found by Ingram, 200 dollars was missing (ten 20 dollar bills) AND all of the 20's were missing from one bundle. Would you mind to disclose the serial number on your 20?[/quote Didn't Gray say in his book that the bundles were not all exact and that some had more than others to give the appearance that it was quickly put together? I read that somewhere, I think it was Grays book. Not sure about Gray but Ckret said that. And no bundle had consecutive serial numbers as Geivette (sp?) says. It was a rushed job ... Ckret said.

Quote In fairness, I think there is an element of truth in what you say. I have joined you in being critical of Bruce on those ocassions when I agreed with you. On the other hand, WHO was KC? The real KC especially as it applies to the chance he might have been DB Cooper, as one party has alleged. Surely, we have to know something more about the real KC, in order to make a fair judgement. We asked the same thing of you, with regard to Duane. My suspicion is, based on what has transpired, that we don't know a lot more about KC than when Gray first wrote his article, and everyhing since then has been highly biased and selective. If Bruce has evidence let him present it. If he doesn't have evidence let him admit that. (I am in full agreement with you Jo on that point). But, that could be explored without threats of a lawsuit! Maybe it's time somebody impartial talks to Gray and Bruce and brings more actual facts to the forum. That would go a long way to resolving 'the factual issue'.

Robert says: Christiansen was not 'probably' gay. Members of his family knew he was from about the time Kenny was sixteen onward, although you wouldn't know it by talking to him. Some members of his family were a bit frightened for him when he joined the paratroops at the tail end of WW2, since it was illegal to join if you WERE gay. (I didn't notice whether you mentioned his service, but I'm sure you did.) Also, Christiansen did NOT have 'troubling relationships with teenage boys'. You are mistaken. Christiansen occasionally took in runaways and HELPED them. Any relationships he may have had were with adults. Some were friends he knew in the Army. This is specifically mentioned by Gray, who interviewed one of these boys, 'Mac'. You probably should re-read that Gray article. Just because it wasn't mentioned heavily in Blast doesn't mean Porteous and I didn't investigate this facet of KC's life, i.e. his personal relationships, other interviews with people who lived there (Carolyn Tyner for example) and his work with NWA post-hijacking. We did those things. After the hijacking, Christiansen returned to work and was with NWA until he got cancer. Most of the people who worked with him, like Harry Honda, said KC was low-profile, little-known, and for some reason stopped attending the union meetings. He stayed with the Orient routes, working maybe two or three flights a month. On the same day as the Statute of Limitations was due to expire in 1976, Kenny received a silver bowl and an invitation of a free flight to Minneapolis for his 25th anniversary banquet. He did not go. None of the people we interviewed who knew KC or lived with him EVER gave the slightest hint that Kenny Christiansen was inappropriately involved with underage boys. None of the evidence on him suggests anything like that. And for you to suggest this is wrong, unless you have evidence to support it. If you put a passage like that into your book, I will definitely call our lawyer and file suit, and I will encourage Kenny's nephew Bruce Christiansen and his brother Lyle Christiansen to do the same. This isn't a threat, Bruce. We just want you to do the right thing, and for you to make an unsupported allegation against Christiansen for pedophilia is wrong. You know it. I know it. Right now, you are offering up that book free with that passage in it. I think you should remove it at once before you send out any more copies. I could actually file suit tomorrow on this because legally you have now self-published that book by offering it up publicly. And that passage is libelous. I have copied your offer posts at Dropzone, and of course, I have a copy of the manuscript. Look...I actually like you, so don't make me do this. But your unsupported allegations are irresponsible, and should a publisher accept your book in its present form, I will object to the publication of that passage, tell them why, and include them in any suit for damages. If you message me in return and say the passage stands, you won't leave me any choice but to send the manuscript to our lawyer, along with your free offers at Dropzone. I haven't said a word about this at Dropzone, because I don't want to embarrass you publicly. I actually WANT you to be successful with this book. If I didn't, I wouldn't have offered to edit it for free and tried to give you Kindle advice, etc. Quietly remove it, send me the edited manuscript for verification that you have done this, and we will forget all about it. It will never be mentioned in public or at Dropzone. If there are any other hints in your book elsewhere on this subject, you should remove those as well. I will expect an answer from you on this, along with an edited version of the ms by Friday night. Otherwise, I just give our lawyer what he needs on Monday and let him deal with it. Sincerely, Robert He responded with this: My response was: Bruce says: My last message to him: Quote Im going to keep this simple: You denied that Kenny was even gay! You denied that even if Kenny was gay it had any major role in his life, especially with regard to him being DB Cooper which you maintained he was. You avoided and repressed or denied the whole topic, very actively, while also focusing on basic relationships and 'facts' you alledged defined Kenny's life, which you said 'proved' Kenny was DB Cooper. You threw in supporting evidence: that optical physics does not work in cabins of airplanes, that witnesses are always wrong with poor memories, that the FBI failed to investigate NWA employees, that Geestman was a liar, that crucial witnesses you interviewed were witholding vital information and knew Kenny was Cooper ... and the like. Central relationships and events in Kenny's life you said had nothing to do with Kenny being gay, but supported Kenny being DB Cooper, you claimed strenulously to the point of overkill. With this record, Mr. Blevins, is it not understandable people would question the validity of your research? Or whether you had succeeded in accounting for the "real" Kenneth Christiansen at all - specifically with regard to him having been DB Cooper, since this is a "DB Cooper Thread" ! If you have failed to describe or even share facts of the real Kenny Christiansen you now claim you knew all along, but chose not to share, of what value is your work in relationship to the issue of DB Cooper? Has your work revealed the real Kenny Christiansen at all, or to what extent? What has any of your quest with Christiansen and 500 other editorials (on Newsvine!) got to do with DB Cooper? Maybe you just failed to find the real Kenny Christiansen - and now threaten to sue somebody over Christiansen? Maybe Lyle Christiansen could sue to defend Kenny's reputation, but who and what is your "standing" in this whole sordid affair? This whole pamadgeon being conducted appears to have dropped off the edge of reality! There apears to be a mutiny ON THE GOOD SHIP KENNY! Which you and Adventure Books may not be the sole owners of, managers, or Captains-Admirals of ... ? You got struck down claiming and trying to publish the contents of Dropzone, apparently ?

You sir, can take a very long walk off a...(*withholds due to manners*)Quote And you sir, are a fraud and an opportunist who makes things up as they go along ... claiming you never said (anything!) before. My advice to Bruice is simple. Tell this moron to go screw himself. He's a fraud and a hypocrit. Manners dont rely on hypocrisy! You have no manners. All you have is the hope of the next opportunity when nobody is looking or keeping track. You cite the weight of the Cooper money to the decimal point tonight, but you cant keep track of time or what you said five minutes ago! There is no fix for stupid, Bevins. You dont even have style! Hit the bottle Blevins.

Here's an answer to your question: Do The Right Thing Sincerely, RobertQuote I snipped all of your B.S. above. You declared multiple times that Kenny was not gay. Then after a barage of critical posts from Farflung and others you finally backed off saying: 'well if he WAS GAY it didn't play any role in his life, and didn't/doesn't have anything to do with him being Cooper' That is exactly what you said, for years. Farflung accused you of being two-faced and shamless on the whole matter! Do we actually have to go back and play the tape for you? ... mealy-mouthed opportunist promoter? Do you think people here all have Alzheimers? Get a life and a new 2-way 3-way 4-way on your way to the next 8-way revision of revisions of "what I didn't say"! Do we have to play your own tape back to you? Just buck up to the fact that you argued for years that "IF" Kenny was gay (which you said he wasnt) then it played no role "in his life" and your interpretive editorialising socalled research was as pure and valid as the driven snow, including your publically calling Geestman a liar and branding "that woman" \(whoever she is) a welfare cheat! Its shameless and Rediculous, just as Farflung said. My advice to Bruce is to leave things just as they are and to tell RobertMBlevins, to go screw himself. Because: there is a vast Public Record here at Dropzone posted by none other than RobertMBlevins himself, to back up everything Bruce is saying. ... and more! Your 9 Lives of Hypocrisy ran out years ago on this issue! How many remakes and revisions do you get? Before the original product and the final product are all judged faulty? You are now making this up as you go along, based on the public shift and sentiment against you, just as Jo Weber does. This is exactly what Geoff Gray said you would do. No real research of merit to begin with ... just make it up as you go along based on the latest sentiment and data here on Dropzone. To appeal to your audience you call: the wage earner sheeple. (We aren't as smart as you!) Sluggo and Gray had your number the first week out. Remakes and revisions. Make it up as you go along. Conceal the opportunism and the fact you had basically nothing but a faulty product right from the start and were here to learn and absorb and revise as you went along. You resisted mightily! Isn't that why Porteous split from you ... and Geoffrey Gray too? The central issue is: fraud.; Your 9 lives of hypocrisy have run out with your boilerplate tonight. Bruce Smith's report is entirely accurate of your posts here over years denying and claiming Kenny being gay had no role "in his life". You even denied at one point saying your research hadn't uncovered anything that would indicate Kenny was even gay! That is fully documented by your posts over several years here on Dropzone, and that is a fact. Now you claim his family and you knew it all along! Wash your mouth out with soap, Sham Wow Hypocrit.

Georger, why did you edit out your remark. I want to know the names of all of these men - if indeed any of them actually worked with Sheridan. Is Sheridian the 1st one on the second row? If not who is the guy?Quote What remark? Duplicate photos of the same person were eliminated. This is the facial recognition test composite Snowmman posted ages ago which included a few people supposedly related to Sheridan and a few ringers Snowmman threw in. It is what it is. Complain again and I will change it again! What complaint - I wanted to know the names of the guys. I have seen a picture of the 1st one on the first row before but do not remember where. Also the first one on the second row. Just wanted to know if it was random pics or if there was a purpose.Quote Ask Snowmman. He posted the composite.

Quote Yours are all good points. Ive asked before: I think you said Sheridan did have a pilot's license... but did he own a plane or share one? What did he fly? Undoubtedly Cossey would have known him. One more thing: did he ever mention Eugene OR to you? Had spent time there... knew people there ... Eugene in any context?

Look forward to seeing your next 3 videos. Maybe you would know the following or somebody else. Evidently $5,800 dollars was found in three bundles by Ingram. That means ten 20 dollars bills were not in one of the 3 bundles because each bundle was suppose to contain one hundred 20 dollar billls??? I'm wondering if the Hijacker might have taken 200 dollars from one of the bundles as a clue to proove he survived. Did the FBI purposely bundled some bundles with only 90 bills? The FBI released the serial numbers of all the 20 dollar bills given to Cooper. FBI claims the Ingram three bundles recovered matched the serial number sequence they had bundled for Cooper. Did they release the serial numbers of the bills found by Ingram? I wonder if the FBI bundled the bills in sequence as found in the list they released. Be interesting to find out if the missing ten 20 dollar bills were from within the innter part of the bundle or came off the outter part of the bundle. Seems like the bills would break off from the outside of the bundle first, if they got lost to the enviroment. Quote Reed the thred. Do you know how to search the thread? Do you care? Too lazy?

Supposively Cooper was in his mid 40's at the time of the hijacking. That was over the hill 40 years ago. Lordy Lordy DB Cooper is 40. Quote Over the hill at 40? Not where I come from. Wage Earner Sheeple were still working into their 70s and 80s, because they still didn;t trust Social Security or bankers, or the Govt. School teachers were forced to stop working at 70 then they became active substitutes three days a week - so the younger crowd could "rest"! The only good protester was a dead protester! Let's clean up Nam and the universities next while we're at it! And the women outlived the guys by 10 years. Mid 40s to mid fifties where I come from was "only getting started, Kid!". Its easy to see you come from the credit card gen-X crowd.

I happen to be in possession of research NO one else has - and I wll contribute that without naming a suspect.Quote Let me guess. The FBI makes mistakes but they have some really smart agents. I've seen some brilliant work done by them during my time doing criminal defense. If they are CERTAIN they have Coopers DNA then there is a reason. They probably have something that hasn't yet been revealed. 377Quote Ive never thought the butts are "lost" stored somewhere, in the system. That's what Ckret thought also. If their dna workup is recent then its probably solid, whatever they have. As for Cooper, his hijacking falls squarely in the 'activist' period of the late 60s to early 70s. There were people all over the place wanting to do 'something'! Every persuassion right and left. Cooper's grudge probably falls into that catagory. It could even be Cuban as a test of northern security measures vs southern where most of the jackings were occurring. The northern areas hadn't really had that many hijackings relatively speaking. If we only had a clue to his haplotype! That would exclude a lot of possibilities. Lots of people talkedabout doing things back in 'the day'. Few actually did something, most of it was talk and meetings, and fewer still did something of actual consequence like a hijacking or the Madison bombing. In your case, Sheridan doesn't know a friend when he sees one! Another lost mitzvah! Oh well. Kaha kaha.

A body lost in nature may not be found...Animals may have taken care of the corpse and scattered the bones. Just because there may not be a body does not mean a body did not perish. A missing person's report may have never been filed in 1971. For example, families of missing fugitives seldom file a report.Quote That would depend entirely on where he went in. Im not sure the Shillapoo and its surroundings would have offered that type of environment in the 1971, where a body could sit undiscovered to rot or be worked on by animals... in that area in the 1970s the real danger according to people Ive talked to, would have been one of the human predators from the area hobo camps that stretched behind the shoreline from the railroad bridge in Vancouver, northwest. If Cooper had wandered into that area and was discovered with cash, his fate would have been sealed... The FBI has never said if these camps on the Vancouver and Oregon side of the river and the people there, were checked at the time or not. Further north hunters would have stumbled across something. That's almost a dead certainty especially if his chute was there.

Met Sailshaw and his lovely wife last weekend. I have no doubt that Sheridan Peterson stayed with them in Seattle. Wonder why Sheridan denies it? Obviously the FBI knew that Sheridan had resided there when they came calling to ask questions about him. 377Quote That is interesting. But the FBI has collected and tested his dna against the sample and I guess he is excluded ? Maybe there is somebody else who was in Sheridan's company at the time who is a suspect? Will Sheridan talk to Sailshaw? Will he talk to you, or anyone? Sheridan doesn't strike me as cooperative with the FBI, given his political background ? I wondered the same about McCoy's circle of associates. Cooper has always struck me as a loner, and Im not even sure why or if I could articulate it. Somebody on the periphery of things. Without a doubt there are 'standout' suspects. Poeple with the known potential to do 'this or that'. Cooper may have emerged from a wider circle of people, around a 'standout'. A friend of a friend who wasn't a mainstream activist, but someone on the periphery who watched and absorbed and might seize an opportunity through ideas and information others were expressing or discussing. (Just like McCoy was a 'talker' but became a 'doer'.). Did Sailshaw ever know people who hung around Sheridan at work or otherwise politically? Somebody quiet but intelligent.

Interesting point that I've often wondered about. Also, what if Cooper did die in those woods, but not before making it to an area that makes the money find more plausible? I don't buy that the money was a plant. I also don't buy that the money made it to Tina Bar on it's own from where Cooper supposedly landed. But, perhaps he made it to a location that makes the money find more plausible before dying from injuries from the jump, or the elements, or a bigfoot attack, whatever. Blevins, I believe that some of the KC evidence is weak, at best. But based on what is known about the space in the attic, I do believe it was a hiding place. I just see no other reason for the counter top to be there. It is intriguing. But, not enough to make me believe that Kenny was Cooper.Quote Ok.Now that we have firmly established by snakeoil Sham Wow science that the HIDING PLACE "is" a HIDING PLACE! What did it hide? Had to be Cooper money, since RobertMBlevins has written a book and sayz so! Yepper! Where's the hairy woman with five tits, the turtle with three heads, a genuwine shruken head from the Amazon, and the five legged horse? Not to mention King Kenny's gold!??? There has to be more. I sense the preacher Blevins is holding out on us! That aint nice! Keep passing out the Grape Kool Aide.

None of that happens fast. No production just jumps into something like this. It is NOT a movie nor anything I would profit by. I have always stayed out of that venue. I did let them pay my expenses as I could ill afford to absorb those. I want the truth and of course it is human nature to think perhaps there might be monies involved - but I turned down every offer made to me. I felt I had to know the WHOLE STORY first and needed some kind of proof or verification. Why there has been no movie or book on my part. It was my choice and I did have offers. One guy did a contract for a book and his queiry letter was so far fetched - I said NO way and requested a release letter which I still have....that was in the very beginning after the media got hold of this. It has always been about the truth and who was this man I spent 17 yrs with? I had my taste of the media those first few yrs - and did NOT like it at all. My choice was to continue to fight for the truth and that is what I have done since 2002. Then along came Blevins and Marla and others, but I continued my effort in my own way. Some think I made a poor choice, but it was MY CHOICE. I wanted the truth regardless of what it was! After 8 yrs on this thread you guys should know that. I do NOT want some writer claiming things that are not true - that is my stand. Things are being discussed, but I stay in control - if it sounds and looks like exploitation it probably is. In these last 17 yrs - I would have settled for authorities to have shown up on my door and had me sign confideniality pledges with serious penalties - just to have known what Duane was involved in. The system does not work and now I am angry and will do what I have to do to get the story told. Politics and government policies I have come to abhord. Those who did tried to help me weasel under the governments obtuse shields all paid a heavy price.....enough said!Quote Agree. Dont do anything to end your control of the Kah Kah. The very fact that one of the bundles of bills had been "torqued" verifies that the rubber band on that bundle was still pliable when it was buried by sand or it would not have been able to keep the bundle together. Quote You keep coming back to that. Torquing and presence of absence of rubber bands may have nothing to do with the other, or with the bundles staying together. There are many variables that were in play. It obviously appears to you (right now) the bands were playing a crucial role keeping the bundles together, providing a kind of pivot point for torquing? Fanning out from a pivot point? I guess what you are saying is: had the money arrived later after the bands were no longer viable, the money could not have torqued, or fanned out, in the manner Tom found on three (or one?) bill? I understand your position. My point is there are far better ways to judge time of arrival and burial vs nonburial... than guessing about rubber bands and 'torquing of the money vs rubber bands or no rubber bands'. Why would I measure my gas by lifting my car? Versus looking at the gas guage or using a stick?

Bands crumbled when touched - Ingram's say. This condition takes a year or less to occur - WRONG! That this means the money was buried within a year after the hijacking. Corallary to the above: Milk found was in a cake and crumbled when touched. Milk sours in 2 hours at room temp. Conclusion: Milk found was 8 hours old - (Reality: we buried the milk in 1954! ) Point is: there is relationship between "bands crumbled" and "bands break after one year" ! Maybe you should go to the source, i.e. Kaye with your concerns or questions on the rubber bands and the money. I didn't publish the website, nor did I do the research. He and his team did, although I understand he got a bit miffed at you once. He does answer his email. You should ask if he minds if you publish his answers, which he usually allows.Quote Maybe you should call Jo Weber or Jerry Thomas with your concerns? Better yet call Galen Cook with your concerns? Or Lindsay Lohan ? I am discussing the Cooper case, not trying to start a media social war. Hey! Call Geoff Gray. He will listen to ya - why dont you call Tom Kaye and complain since you're the one with a social issue

I had seen news article in 1971 and perhaps in papers after that. I did NOT know Cooper used the name DAN COOPER. I knew about D.B. Cooper, but only due to reading news articles (what little may have appeared in the Ga papers). I did not know D.B. Cooper used the name DAN until I was reading the book by Max Gunther on May 24th 1996. I will swear that in a court of law. Sports and Crime - was not my interest in those day. In fairness to Ms. Weber, I have recently spoken with two well-educated people, one in their 80s and another near 40, and neither one had ever heard the name DB Cooper or knew anything about the story.Quote Were they driven by McCoys house at Virgina Beach on the premise McCoy was DB Cooper? Do either of them claim their husbands were D.B. Cooper?

Bands crumbled when touched - Ingram's say. This condition takes a year or less to occur - WRONG! That this means the money was buried within a year after the hijacking. Corallary to the above: Milk found was in a cake and crumbled when touched. Milk sours in 2 hours at room temp. Conclusion: Milk found was 8 hours old - (Reality: we buried the milk in 1954! ) Point is: there is no relationship between "bands crumbled" and "bands break after one year" ! It's not a valid comparison- its eggplant vs. an elephant. Both biological but totally different animals! In the case of the bands, totally different "states" in rubber band chemistry and life! Tom has no data on how long it takes for bands to "crumble and dust off when touched". All Tom has is gross breakage after one year, he says, and that isn't even a universal fact! Tom actually had a better gross measurement, he chose not to mention for some reason. He estimated the bills had lost about 1/8th inch of their perimeters say per year. At that rate of loss the bills would be about 9 years old. Guess what! 1980 minus 1971 equals: 9 years. I dont know how valid that estimate was but at least it produced a ballpark result. The point is simple and obvious: you have to get deeper into rubber bands chemistry (left in nature) than 'bands break in one year', in order to use bands as a "clock" ... whatever any of that might or might not have to do with an independent event such as "burial". Maybe instead of "burial" the money was covered by Cooper's corpse and parachute for some years? Who knows! Clocks need to be valid clocks, of the thing you are trying to measure. Bands breaking and burial are not automatically linked at all. Any more than 'bands breaking'and 'he liked blondes' are linked. And fact is, I am only skimming the surface here. If you are going to measure burial vs non-burial don't pick 'bands break in less than one year' as your yardstick. You might as well pick the color of your neighbors car. There are other more well-defined indicators of burial vs non-burial, or a clock on burial vs. non- burial. This discussion is at an extremely elementary level! I hope you realise that? This is 3rd gade science. For example: nowhere in Tom's sceince is there even mention of temperature. Rubber band chemistry and temperature are vitally linked, just as exposure to UV and O2. For example, the melt transition phase of rubber bands at room temp (precursor to breakage) is about 69 degree F. Lacking that (say in a burial or in cold water) then the chemical process changes. From melt transition to crystalisation at 69F is one transitional clock. Lacking a steady application of 69F then the clock is altered - And the same applies to every artifact on earth. Paper. Glass. Human tissue. And the most amazing thing of all to me is: Tom Kaye knows all of this! "I know it when I see it" just does not work and is not sufficient in this situation. You have to get a little deeper than 'bands break in less than one year' and it has to be shown it has some causal connection to burial....
