  1. Maybe they will change the name to: TACKY BOOKS of SEATTLE.
  2. Yes, I said that. I don't see anything about a Mike Simmons or an interview in there. I don't even KNOW Mike Simmons, and I have not heard any interview. Or any link to one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You say that in this alleged radio interview Lyle said he didn't think his brother was the hijacker. The flip side of that is pretty much everything else about him, and his actions. I asked Lyle about this so-called interview and his reply was: "Why would I say something like that?' This made perfect sense to me. And I couldn't care less about Lyle's opinion anyway, since he doesn't know whether KC was the hijacker. Is this all you have? The Kaposi's/AIDS/ thing on Kenny didn't work, so now we're moving on to his brother and some radio interview that remains a mystery? LOL...and you teased me about seeing a UFO.
  3. Hmm. I would have to say it was Geoff Gray who did that back in 2007. I just took it a bit further. And remember...Gray's book leans heavily on the Christiansen story. He even starts out the book with KC and Porteous, etc. That article was out for almost a year before I even heard of Christiansen. I think we have to put a lot of this on Gray. As far as Lyle, he doesn't know whether Kenny was the guy or not. He never did, and his personal opinion on it, since he never provided any smoking gun, is useless. His providing of pictures, documents, etc was a help in the investigation, though. This is why discussing his motivations on a possible film are useless. Lyle doesn't own the rights to the KC story anymore, and I absolutely refuse to release them unless two things happen first. Neither of them involves money. 1) It has to be a drama or a documentary-type film. 2) It has to stick to the known facts on Christiansen. 3) I get to look at the script, or at least a basic storyline before any release of rights. I wouldn't worry. With parameters like that, it's unlikely a film will ever be made. OH! So Lyle now agrees withhis own interview back in xxxx with Mr. Simmons re- "no I dont think Kennyw as Cooper - it was just a good idea for a movie script' ? AND! ITS ALL GRAY'S FAULT - HE STARTED IT!? Very likely this post of yours its on its way to Geoff Gray at this very moment. Care to make any further retractions/revisions? No revisions. Send it to Gray if you wish. I think Gray will laugh, though. It's just a wild guess, but I think he knows he was the first person to write about Christiansen. What I said was that Lyle's opinion on whether his brother was Cooper is useless. You can harp on about the movie thing and Lyle all you want. At the beginning he may have thought this was the best idea, but he was quick to sign away all media rights, book rights, etc to his brother's story...just so he could discover the truth about his own brother. I call that pretty noble, and an exercise in sincerity. Why don't you ask Galen Cook if his suspect's family has done the same? It might give them more credibility. I suggested to Marla Cooper once that it would be better if at least ONE other member of her family corroborated just ONE part of her story. They never did. These things are how you sort out when people are looking for fame or fortune...or simply trying to determine the truth. Lyle's selfless actions since 2008 more than prove his motivations. He has absolutely nothing to gain if his brother is proven to be the hijacker. You keep forgetting that somehow. And I've already turned down...let's see now...(again) $2.500 from History Channel, a grand from Comcast Sports Net for Adrenaline Hunter, and okay...$20,000 from the Paradigm client who wanted full liberties on the KC story. You know, they wanted to do something like the Treat Williams thing, more or less. I said NO. There is no interest here in anything but The Truth. It's a simple concept, and backed by the facts I just stated above. No No No. Bad Boy Bad Boy bad boy! You words were and are, quote: "As far as Lyle, he doesn't know whether Kenny was the guy or not. He never did, and his personal opinion on it, since he never provided any smoking gun, is useless. That confirms his interview with Mike Simmons 100%! Which you deny even happened, calling me and others "liars"! Didn't I say you would change it by 3:00pm. Well it hasnt even been 30 minutes and you backtrack already. He who says everything says nothing. Now we know why you are here- you're waiting for some offer bigger than $20k and you think we and Dropzone are your road to that. Hell for all we know you have out flyers ? Does anyone seriously think AB Books of Seattle would be doing this for nothing! ???

Very likely this post of yours its on its way to Geoff Gray at this very moment. Care to make any further retractions/revisions? Will you change your mind by 3:30am PST tonight ... or tomorrow? Simple question: Why are you here, vs there. What has the last three plus years been about?
  5. Skyjack 71 says in part: ***That statement is the most pathetic excuse I have ever heard out of you!He hasn't contacted you....so what conclusions would you draw from that. Obviously Kenny is NOT even a viable suspect! Well...I'm pretty sure he's seen the book. Porteous promised him a copy, and I know Rataczak doesn't post on the internet, but he does do research on the Cooper case. He talks about 'his notes' on the case during the Porteous interview in Blast. As far as the Christiansen Report, he will get that soon along with a letter to him with questions on the flight path. I only asked him three questions on that. Kenny's death certificate arrived today. I'm going to attach it. There's nothing on it about Kaposi's, or AIDS, or any underlying causes besides the Big C. This just goes to prove that 'trusted researchers' should get their facts straight before rattling off whatever comes to mind. For example, dancing around the idea that just because someone is gay auto-makes them a pedophile, or that they have AIDS. I think most gay people would take offense at that. Kenny may have taken in runaways and helped them out once in a while. Unfortunately, some people...when viewing a behavior that most folks might consider decent...sometimes try to twist it into an ugly thing. Too bad. Cooperland, and the bickering and jealousy involved within in...often brings out the worst in people. You can quote that from the book. During her phone interviews, Carolyn Tyner told me any hints regarding pedophilia and Christiansen in the same sentence were ridiculous. She described him as simply a nice guy with a lot of friends, and that the 'runaway' thing is overrated. In reality, he only took in a very few and over a term of almost twenty years. Most didn't stay long, only McWilliams. When Kenny died, he left Tyner and her then-husband Robin Powell the house, plus a few sheets from the stamp collection. They lived with him for years. If Kenny was engaging in inappropriate behavior with juveniles, they would have known. I found out where Kenny's former doctor is practicing now. And although he probably won't be able to tell me much, I'm going to take up the death certificate and a copy of the release from Lyle Christiansen and give it a try. I'll be honest here. I'm going to take up a copy of the Christiansen report as well, leave it with him, see what he says. It's probably a fruitless gesture, but I have to try. The release from Lyle might help. Might. I can't help thinking that whatever the big secret was that Kenny couldn't tell his brother...maybe he told his doctor. Like I said, probably a waste of time. We can read Blevins! Says nothing about "BIG C". What it says is "carcinoma of the colon". Not one word about "Jay Leno sees UFO!". When do we get to see the pathology report? I guess its another Golden Moment by RobertMBlevins! What is this bullcrap about: Removed by Adventire Books of Seattle Last 4#'s: 3599 ?
  6. If I hear "a lot of smart guys" one more time - I think I will throw up! It has to do with who had what data when and the accuracy of that data. Now if Sluggo had been able to interview Pringle or Solderlind or others vs. Himmelsbach, there might be a totally different understanding which does not rely on " a lot of smart guys". A lot of smart guys could have been right or wrong, or somewhere in between. A lot of smart guys were flying the plane! Why are these people talking to Himmelsbach!? He isnt even in charge of the case!?? He isnt even the only pilot! By 1976 Himmelsbach is running around telling newspaper men the original flight path was wrong! Himmelsbach isnt even speaking for the people in charge of the case, or is he!? They cant all be right all of these smart guys! How can Solderlind and the engineers have something that nobody else says they had!? And to this very day don't have or know!? And, the contention that only Ralph Himmelsbach had "the data" whatever "it" is, is pure utter nonsense. Himmelsbach wasn't even in charge of the case and the guys in Seattle that might have known something aren't talking. Himmelsbach is running around chasing a jet in a helicopter - does anyone else see something a little weird about that? Giddy up Ole Paint! Faster! Take that, Pilgrim! Ya know ya know ya know. Yepper. Himmeslbach and JT has "lots of stories". The WWII Ace Fighter Pilot? Sorry. All he had was a little training. Never saw action. The closet H ever was to "action" in a flying machine was in the Ntl Guard Helo trying to chase down Cooper flying in a jet! "Slo down there Pilgrim". A lot of smart guys! Blevins says Rataczak woud have no reason to lie. Blevins would say the same thing about the Pope and Judas Iscariot.
  7. This is one good reason why someone should go to the source and ask a few questions. And if Himmelsbach had so little faith in the map, then why did the FBI and the US Army end up mounting a big search in the Ariel area? They could have used airplane data too! And super glue! Do you know of they were given food and water?
  8. Shutter, the following is on pages 46, 47, and 48 of Himmelsbach's book. The first chase aircraft for the airliner was a USAF T-33 on a night training mission out of Portland International. It took off to the west and was shortly afterwards directed toward Lake Oswego where it ended up about three miles behind the hijacked airliner. But the two pilots on board never had visual contact with the airliner. The book states that two F-102s were dispatched from the Idaho Air National Guard in Boise but did not make contact with the airliner. The book also states that two F-106s took off from Hamilton AFB in California but did not see the airliner. Only the C-130, which was also from Hamilton AFB, was able to make contact and it stayed with the airliner until it landed in Reno. On page 47, Himmelsbach states that the National Guard helicopter, with him onboard, took off from Portland International and flew south. On page 42, Himmelsbach describes the helicopter lift-off from Portland International as follows: "We lifted off, did a sharp climbing turn to the right, and headed for the position where we thought the jet might be. I looked down just as we passed over southwest Portland and my home in West Linn." So both the T-33 and Himmelsbach's helicopter were headed to the southwest side of Portland and the Lake Oswego and West Linn areas. No one went to the east or north. Shutter, a PM is enroute to you. Robert99 Interesting. I had forgot about H's book. So there are two H-in-helicopter accounts? (Maybe three) Book: H flies south to intercept but too slow, too late, goes back to PDX. JT: H flies north east to intercept 305 somewhere east of V23, hopes to see a fire or some sign of Cooper on the ground. Helo lights off. See nothing return to base. Newspaper & other accounts: H flies north perhaps as far north to Woodland, not hoping to intercept 305 (which by now is miles south of PDX, but hoping to see some sign of Cooper, fire or something. Conditions terrible, sees nothing, returns to PDX. Which account is correct or are they all correct? Snowmman puzzled over this also - has a whole string of posts trying to dig it out - Snowmman could never get to the bottom of it... Maybe there were two flights (as per Snowmman). One chasing 305 the night of the hijackling. Second flight next night north or nor-east looking for Cooper? Apparently a NY Times article refers to H looking for Cooper on the ground, from a helo. As I say, Snowmman tried to unravel and confirm some of this but apparently was unable to. Then Sluggo did a followup interview, called H, and asked him some questions. Unfortunately the helo part was not in his interview that Sluggo reported here. But, from Sluggo's previous posted interview with H the following is below: "I described the “Flight-path” on the SEA Sectional that was released by the FBI in November of 2007 and made sure he knew which one I was talking about. (There could be others that he would know about, but have not yet been released.) I then asked him how that chart was produced and who produced it. He replied (somewhat bluntly) I just don’t know. He speculated that it was the product of some ARTC engineers and some Northwest Airlines engineers, using radar and flight recorder information. [I got the sense that he had no faith in that document at all.]. I ask how far off of V-23 the plane might have been after they got down around Battle Ground or Orchards. He told me that “the pilots” were not under very much restriction at all and were “hand-flying” the plane because large jets aren’t happy on autopilot at low speeds and low altitude. We had a short discussion about the clearance language and how they were told they could bust altitude by as much as 4,000 feet without notice from ARTC. Neither of us knew what they would have needed to have done as far a horizontal deviation from V-23. He said (without commenting on how he knew this) that as they approached PDX they could have been as much as 20 miles East of V-23. I asked for clarification, was he saying statute miles or nautical miles. His response was “statute miles.” I commented about, in light of that statement, Jerry Thomas’s search in and NE of Dugan Falls would not be so far-fetched. He said Jerry was definitely on target. " (Mar 5, 2009, 6:13 PM Post #8462 of 47039)
  9. I would say this means Flight 305 was on a path EAST of the Interstate 5 freeway. If you believe this to be not true, than I suggest going to the source and asking. Point of Order: Mr Rataczak never refused to speak to me, as Georger has said. I just haven't made serious efforts to contact him. I'm sure he's seen the KC report, the book, and whatever else. If he wanted to talk about those things, he would have contacted me long ago. I'm sure he is a nice guy and I have no problem here. This job (talking to him about the flight map) I leave to someone else. Blevins get real! Why would he have seen the "KC Report" and/or your book? Why would he waste time on it ... and you? He may very well have heard of you from several people. I would put it in the freezer waiting before it turns rank!
  10. Let's be clear about one thing: a number of people say the reason Blev's promised interview never happned is because Rzk refused to talk to him. Period. Rzk stil has a life in spite of his personal problems. He's a very rational guy by all accounts (from rational people). Who are my sources in this? People who have talked to Rzk dozens of times who could call him tomorrow. Rataczak has aready given interviows on all of thse points! I doubt his information is going to change. The FBI has talked to Rataczak countless times.
  11. By 1976 Himmelsbach was telling the news media "12 miles north of Portland". He didnt state a longitude. From about the end of 1972 to 1976 the news media was regularly asking if the FBI had made a mistake on where Cooper bailed.
  12. Robert, this was checked out by the FBI and there have been posts on it. Tom Kaye posted several months ago about a Canadian who disappeared about that time. And -- Vicki please correct me on this if I'm wrong -- Mel Wilson is only talked about as a potential suspect because he disappeared shortly before the hijacking. This is completely subjective, but I don't believe Cooper was Canadian for a couple of reasons. First reason is because the stews said he had 'no discernable accent' (on the wanted poster) along with 'possibly from the Midwest'. (same thing) I have spent literally months at a time in Canada, and not just in BC, either. Canadians speak English all right (yes, there are French Canadians, of course) but I never mistook one of them as an American. Maybe that's because I'm from Washington and the stews were not. I don't know. But they certainly have a unique way with the English language, eh? I love Canadians, whom I consider America's first line of defense, but I never spoke to one where I ever mistook him as coming from the good old USA. From A to Zed. I have also spent considerable time in Canada all over Can'ada. Eh? Part of my family is Canadian. It sort of depends where you go in Canada as to the type and thickness of accent; Canada is a big country with all kinds of cultural groups, not unlike the US itself. There also are Americans living in Canada who come and go freely, especially in prior times before visas were required. These people have/had dual citizensip. And many with the socalled "Midwestern no accent". It might have been more productive to look at which type of "no accent" Cooper's "no accent was" ... as much depends on the hearer in these matters. Listen to Tina on the CBS News report. What type of accent does she have? The same for Rzk and Scott.
  13. I thought the Mel story was a bit more compelling? Mel was a forger. He made phony currency. He got spooked in Sept of 1971 and ran, and in the process dumped some $200,000 in fake currency and plates into a river. Cooper demanded $200,000 in ransom. And the Gray sketch/description of Cooper provided by one passenger looks a lot like Mel, so some say ? Mel having dumped about $200k in fake currency is documented. That might give a forger a grudge? Mel has not been seen since.
  14. Blevins, Have you even bothered to read Soderlind's write-up on the radar accuracies he used in coming up with the original jump location? If you have, then why don't you list them here as well as specify the location site of the radar that produced his data? I am not your nursemaid and I am not going to do your homework for you. Nor am I interested in being your "pen pal". I am fortunate enough to have "pen pals" who do know what they are talking about and I had rather talk to them. Robert99 Well, I'm sure you will let everyone know when you finally prove that Paul Soderlind, the FBI, and the ATC's were all wrong...and you are right...on the subject of the flight path. Thereby proving Cooper actually jumped several miles to the west of the Interstate. EDIT: I just thought I'd mention that I'm aware of what Captain Scott allegedly told Himmelsbach on the day of Himmelsbach's retirement, i.e. that the plane WAS farther west than the FBI thought. Now assuming Scott is correct, then two things come to mind. First, why would Scott wait nine years to mention this rather important point, which goes against both the initial investigation, the Soderlind team's conclusions, and everything else? You would think at some point the FBI would have consulted with either Scott or Rataczak on the map...and NOT nine years later. And one of them would have said: 'Wait...that's wrong. We were more over HERE...' I've also wondered if the F-106 Delta Dart chase planes launched out of McChord ever got good pings on 305. The F-106 worked with SAGE radar, that is known. Could all of these people be wrong, and nine years later Scott says so? Maybe. This also begs another question. If Cooper actually DID jump west of Woodland and the freeway (Tena Bar area), then how come the only thing ever found was MONEY? No body, no chutes, no briefcase, absolutely zip except some bills. And conveniently...all in the same spot. Perhaps Cooper did jump where you think he did, but the evidence of the money found does not lend itself well to the idea he died. Maybe it really was a plant after all. Either at the time of the jump, or years later. After all this time, not a single other thing has ever been discovered in that area. Just three packets (approximately) of the money. And if Cooper did that on purpose to cause confusion or make people believe he died in the jump, he certainly accomplished that task in spades. Well, Blevins this isn't about YOU! Them vs ME! I think you are Big Mac deprived. Oh and REED THE THRED! Your ignorance of the whole purpose of thread is showing. This aint Newsvine! Or just be LAZY.
  15. G replies - You keep referring to "intelligent people". Be "intelligent" for a change and realise your evaluation/criticism is an empty bag. You are not in any position to even make an evaluation. Once again Blevins its all bloviation. You literally dont know what you're talking about. I am intelligent enough that I know I can't teach a chicken how to drive a car ... much less file a report on one! Chicken Little said the sky was falling! Continually over thousands of posts! And 500 editorials on Newsvine. He wasn;t right once. Could it be that Chicken Little was just plain LAZY ? That would account for a lot of faking that goes on! BTW: KC was only trained on static line jumps. Static line jumping! A long time jumper tells me HALO and allof that did not come along until Vietnam? Is this true? In any event, KC was only trained to do statc line jumps - he has seen KC's mil record. Cooper appears to have had other training ...
  16. Well, I'll bet they were at least REASONABLY accurate. Otherwise the 1970's would be historical for all the mid-air collisions of commercial aircraft, especially between Seattle and Portland. You could make a nice living just scrapping out all that wreckage along the I-5 corridor. Now you're trying to blame crappy radar for the reason you put Flight 305 on the west side of the freeway north of Portland - and by several miles. Unproven. I want to see something solid that actually proves, or calls into serious question with evidence, that all those people were wrong on where 305 was between SeaTac and PDX. Paul Soderlind (and his team at NWA) weren't exactly slouches at their jobs. And they had time on the ground to plan the tracking of 305, since Cooper was delayed at SeaTac a couple of hours. Excerpt from Soderlind's obituary: ***'Soderlind retired in 1973. He later became a consultant for Boeing, Embry-Riddle, the U.S. Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration, among others. In 1997, he was inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame and was the first to get the FAA Citation and Gold Medal for Extraordinary Service to Aviation Safety...' He was also a pilot for NWA, and pretty much the greatest employee the airline ever had. There's even a scholarship program in his name. I think I mentioned he was a real smart guy. And if his team says Flight 305 was here or there (they had a great hand in the creation of the FBI's flight map) I will believe he and his results rather than yours, unless you can prove otherwise. You are entitrely correctomundo! Congratumachions! That is why, they had caught Cooper within 30minutes, took back the money, slapped him on the wrist saying "Bad Boy! Bad boy!", and escourted him back to his trailer with Geestman. After which they spread a little cash around at Tina Bar, sat laughing and tipped a few beers. Then dropped the chute off at Amboy on their way to the next bar. Have you ever seen the Soderlind Report !? Woooops! Maybe you can get a copy from the Soderlind family.
  17. You know, Robert...I got banned for a couple of weeks for saying stuff like that about other posters. I wouldn't be surprised if a warning from Quade comes your way. And I agree...you shouldn't buy a book from me. Anytime anyone researching the Cooper case wants a copy of Blast in PDF for their device, all they have to do is email me and I always provide it FREE. You also say THIS: ***'The money found at Tena Bar and the placard from the aft stairs that was found further north, are the only two pieces of physical evidence indicating the actual flight path of the airliner. Blevins, for instance, tends to dismiss the Tena Bar money as not an indication of the actual flight path since it does not fit into his theory that the flight path was further east...' The placard is a known factor, and indicates the flight path at that point very well. The money found at Tena Bar, not necessarily so, because no one can say how it arrived there. The idea that Flight 305 was several miles EAST of Tena Bar is the established flight path, (not 'my theory' lol) so it is YOU who are venturing the theory. And your theory goes against what was plotted by the FBI, Paul Soderlind and his team at NWA, and the available radar data. Although you keep denying it, you are determined to move the flight to the west side of the Interstate 5 freeway in your attempt to explain the money at Tena Bar. Problem: You don't have any proof, or at least enough to go against the official flight path established decades ago by the people and items I listed above. Here's my message for Dingledik: Listen to whomever you choose, anytime you want. Or don't want. Welcome. Blevins, you continually cite the NWA, Solderlind, FBI, and "radar data". So given your intimate knowledge of this matter I presume the same radar data plotted both illustrations of the Path, for the same ground ? (Area on FBI map between blue lines is roughly the same as on the NWA map) Please note: there are time stamps on the FBI plot and no time stamps on the NWA plot. Are these plots identical and if not, why? Yea or Ney, or do you wish to waffle?
  18. if you are saying it was a no pull. it's would be attached to him for a period of time I would say? if he landed in the river...where is the body? welcome to the form...... Yes, welcome. River landing? Maybe. One point I've brought up about it is if you calculate the total amount of possible water landing against landing on ground, the chances are far greater he came to the ground. There's just a lot more dirt and rock between Seattle and Portland than lakes and rivers. It's strictly an 'odds' thing, and completely non-scientific.
  19. Now that we have established that Kenny was in the military and had parachute training, can we establish WHO at Morris, MN Lyle and his son are promoting to be the next Marilyn Monroe in Hollywood! ? In addition to Kenny being D.B. Cooper ? Im fascinated by the growing list of folks who say KC was DB Cooper. Let's see. There's Lyle, his son, you, Cop23XX in Vancouver (who also has a conspiracy theory about the FBI). Will the new Marilyn Monroe be added to the list - when she gets her first part, In Hollywood. Take some advice! Forget Hollywood. Think Bollywood! Cows are sacred there. Jing Jing a Jinga-Ling. Mr. Blevins does not trust people here, he says. He does not trust the FBI to not come barging into his shop at AB Books. He mixes this in with hundreds if not thousands of anti-Blevins nasty Spamalot posts ridiculing Mr. Blevins at other websites. He says these posts come co-terminous ... between Dropzone and elsewhere. He says "if I post here, nasty posts immediately occur elsewhere". And we should take this seriously here and "be responsible" and chase our names around the internet if being used against Mr. Blevins, whether it is us or not! Ridicule seems to be the common denominator. If Blevins ridicules something here, ridicule appears elsewhere against Mr Blevins, like some immutable law of Physics! For these complicated reasons Mr Blevins cannot post a photo of KC's military record ... he has just this minute received. Like the Palmer report he just this minute received, once, from someone "in the Palmer family". Like KC was just this minute, DB Cooper. Like just this minute there is a brand new Marilyn Monroe in Morris MN that needs your help becoming a star! Like just this minute her double is also appearing in Dehli, India! Is it par' simony? Or par sim' ony ? An 80 year old guy we should not be speakking badly of in Blevins' regard, might know.
  20. '1. I have never seen Kenny Christiansen's death certificate, nor do I know exactly how he died other than the general sense that he had cancer, as has been stated in many places. I have never written anything to suggest that I know any more than that.' Robert says: Georger has said otherwise. He says he got this from you. (*surprise*) Quote Georger replies - - - I said no such thing. I said Bruice Smith was the "originator" of the kaposi claim. It turns out to have been a speculation more than a claim. But Bruce was the source. I never said I got anything from Bruce Smith! Bruce has been on vacation for weeks! Blevins you just imagined I said I got it from Bruce ... I said Bruce was the origin of the kaposi claim ... which is true. As a matter of fact we still do not know that its not true!
  21. I just wanted to make sure he understood that. I don't believe in beating around the bush. Unlike Bruce, I actually interviewed KC's friends, neighbors, and as I said, people who knew him for decades, some of whom actually lived with him. Kenny was gay, but he wasn't a pedophile. It's an insult to gay people, and an inaccurate assessment, to put it politely. How is it an insult to 'gay people'? Isnt that being homophobic? Why not flight attendants, paratroopers, crosscut saw users, nail biters, and foot walkers and ear hearers?
  22. I'm not angry with you, or even Georger for that matter. But the problem is that you should go to the original sources for the claim that Kenny was a paratrooper. Look...I just don't feel like dropping the seventy bucks on NARA for Kenny's discharge and whatever else they have on him. Porteous obviously did, and I suppose Geoff Gray. I would go to Gray on this, since it is a major part of the article he wrote for NYM, and it's listed in his book. I'm not totally unreasonable. I emailed Porteous today and asked him to send whatever he has on this subject, whether it be the copy of the discharge, or information on Kenny's units and whatever. I won't lie about something. I got a bit miffed when someone else here irresponsibly posted something about Kenny dying of an AIDS-related disease, and then refused to provide any evidence. Then I find out it came from Bruce Smith. Then I see Bruce posting up a link to a radio interview, but silent on this rather serious allegation. I started taking a different view of the whole thing and decided I would rather not jump through hoops on every silly allegation made on Christiansen. I figure now it's better to wait until these allegations present themselves with some evidence...and THEN respond with what I have. On KC and his service. See the original sources. Since Georger obviously trusts Gray (although I think he misquotes him sometimes) it would be better for you two to approach Gray on this. What's the big deal? Gray was the first guy to talk about Kenny's service. He must have had a reason. Ask him. dbcoopersjumpATGmailDOTcom Several points: This has nothing to do with MARLA so leave MARLA OUT! of your KC story. Marla hasnt said squat about Keny Christiansen! Marla has nothing to do with this. Marla didn't even exist when you came here with your KC Book in progress. The KC story/book is yours. The responsibility for that is yours, not ours. Did you come here for us to do your work for you? You wouldnt accept "our work" in any event, on anything - youve made that abundantly clear. There are simply inconsistencies in your story. That began with your claim Kenny had read the Dan Cooper comic on Shemya and that that comic was part of Kenny's "gestalt" for conducting a hijacking. That arguement collapsed. Now there are inconsistencies over exactly what patatrooper training Kenny had and the nature of it. You cite letters Kenny wrote home while in service (as a paratrooper). Did you present photocopies of those letters - I forget. Now it turns out Gray and you differ on which paratrooper unit Kenny was in. Why does that become our responsibility to figure out and document!? The KC story is yours. The same applies to your parachute story. You have criticisms and claims (you want others to solve) but you present no documentation of anything of your own outside of a map showing a river ... which everyone already knows! Once again you are good at raising questions, socalled, but want others to solve your riddles for you and prove your claims! Then I guess you will take credit for the discovery ? Lyle Christiansen goes to NYC looking for a contact to convey "an idea for a movie script" in which his brother a gay NWA employee is DB Cooper. Porteous turns it over to Gray. Gray does some research on Kenny and concludes he was gay but probably not DB Cooper, as per Lyle's idea for a movie. Then it turns out Lyle Christiansen is a "idea man" in general! His brother being DB Cooper is just one of a his ideas. He has lots of ideas and even patents. Totally unrealted to Kenny and DB Cooper, Lyle has other ideas for movie scripts he communicates with people (in Hollywood) about. Lyle's son even gets involved. They were both at the recent History event in Washington. Bruce communicates with both of them and it turns out Lyle has even tried to sell people (not just ideas) to Hollywood. We come back to you for a comment and you tell us to figure it out for themselves! And people are trying to figure it out! Bruce is writing a whole book about it! Will you claim credit for Bruce's book since its his research and his writing? The Weber Effect is in full force with you.
  23. On your last comment there, I never claimed privacy. And there is evidence on the allegations against Christiansen, as you have already seen. Yes, I have spoken to Lyle in the last week. Yes, he has sent the death certificate. Why did I refuse to post a copy? Simple. I want to see the proof on Bruce Smith's claim that he has seen evidence that KC died of an AIDS-related disease. I want to see that first. Until that time, I have nothing to prove, and I won't. Even I can be stubborn at times, and this is one of them. That allegation really pissed me off, I will be frank. Especially after I had the certificate read to me in its entirety over the phone, and especially now that I've seen it. Just because you haven't seen any evidence that Kenny was in the paratroops doesn't mean he wasn't. History Channel says he was. Porteous says he was. Geoff Gray concluded the same thing. You want to believe he wasn't. Fine. I don't have a problem with that. We both know that if you were REALLY that interested in disproving that claim, you or someone else who believes the same would drop the 70 bucks to find out. Me? I'm not going to pay it. Until other evidence surfaces, I will take the word of the sources I listed above. I figure between them, and the letters Kenny wrote home, a few items that were in KC's possession when he died, and other factors, I will believe he WAS. I'm accepting that at face value. If you want verification, contact Marisa Kagan down in LA, or maybe Pete Berg at Facebook, or producer Rob Blumenstein at History Channel, or email Porteous, or even Geoff Gray. Why aren't you going to one of THEM about this? It was Gray, for example, who first claimed KC was a paratrooper. So why aren't you asking HIM? He does answer his emails and out of all the sources he was the original. Not me. So go there...dbcoopersjumpATgmail.com. There is one other option! Disregard everything you say - about everything! In the words of Geoffrey Gray, quote: "everything he says is highly highly highly, very highly, doubtful - HIGHLY! I dont mind talking about the case but I am sick and tired of talking about this (xxxxx) Blevins and everything he says." Unquote. Quoting Thomas Jefferson: "He who says everything, says nothing".
