    I am convinced the Author is going to make money off the book, which is what I called "cashing in". If I find out the author is not making any money off the book, I'll happily retract my statement.     No I read that. I just figured most people understood there is a difference between proceeds and all proceeds. In the extreme example, if you donate 1 cent out of every 1 million dollars, you are still donating proceeds. So you have no idea how much of the "proceeds" are going to the familys but you still felt OK about accusing him of "cashing in"?

    It's going as well as can be expected since we ignored the conflict in favor of dick dancing in Iraq for the first seven years. At this point, however, we might as well pull out and prepare for the invasion part II, which I predict will happen in about ten years. That will be in response to the next terrorist attack on US soil planned by the Afghans or with their support. I wish the US had the balls to devote the proper resources to Afghanistan, but it looks like we'll have the 1990s all over again over there. Thanks in large part to ignoramuses like you. At least I can discuss something without the personal attacks. Personal attacks are an admission of a weak position. But, no surprise there.

    I'm going to assume that in your zeal to slam him, you didn't read the entire article. I think this guy was wrong to write this book and publish it without being vetted by the Military and other intelligence services. I hope they prosecute him and anyone else caught divulging secrets.

    Try reading the post I was responding to next time. The claim was made that Legislators an "especially the leadership" shared Akins view. I asked to name a leader who had not condemned Akins. Using your definition, Maxine Waters represents DNC leadership.

    I said leader. Surely if there is this vast amount of support for Akins you should be able to find dozens of leaders who support Akins. Admit it, once again, lefties are being spun so the DNC is distracted from Afghanistan(remember?) unemployment, the economy, the deficit etc. I think the Amrican public isn't as stupid as you think they are.
