Yo glen does this mean we get to jump your v2 if we want? sweet! Yes, similar sized select individuals can. I even offered monkey condo a swap to try his new phantoms backfly ability. Of course candidates must have solid canopy landing skills!!!!!! Sorry Sean.

What you will find in the case of V2s is that some of the boogie load organizers/trainers that might have their personal vampire available. But you will find that the suit will be hard "in play" with everyone that wants it and for more than the one jump in order to formulate an opinion . A group of us bought one only after watching others excel in the sky with theirs across the course of months. Not hot shot factory pilots but just regular flyers.Trying the suit yourself is far better than watching a phenom fly a suit and having your results vary poorly. Typically the Brands don't have high end suits as demos. This was true four years ago when I wanted to test an S3 and was lucky to be loaned Jari's personal wings. Some PFI might loan you his old V1 as they are flying their V2 now. Private individuals with many spare personal suits might be inclined to rent /loan a suit if you ask nice.

Hey you! Get to work on the video or else! Oh and hackey but have used the tube and it is good too.

From a pure "most glide performance" aspect I'm not sure the blade performs as well as the S3s/6. The blade looks to be more of a general purpose flocking suit with back fly ability. It would be nice to directly compare it with the S3s/6. The example I saw was made of very strong materials. The V2 by comparison might be considered an ultra performance suit, performance as in glide that is. Contrary to what some people say there is a relaxed posture with the suit that delivers more performance and less strain than I've ever experienced in an S3. The design of the Vampire allow the legs to do more of the work than the arms compared to the original S3. Not to be confused with dirty flying, its more of a flat but relaxed mode. The position is pretty static and not for crazy maneuvers. By slightly refining this position you can put on the after burners and get into some ubber glide, this is were the strain comes not in the relaxed position. Few people can hold max afterburner for two minutes. People flock vampires with great results and very little strain. The Vamire does however not fly "dirty"easily, it can be done but requires more skill to do in than other suits and awareness of the vampires strengths and weaknesses. I can backfly a vampire better than my s3 with back inlets but an Acro would be a much better choice for that. But the Acro may be too skittish for a low time jumper to use if they are new to larger flocks. Then the phantom might be better for this. The blade may also. Time will tell. Once the "average" flyer/flocker, instead of the "marketing" department, defines the envelope for the new suits it will be pretty clear.

If you missed PR this year then you missed one incredible time. Matt "sd" Hoover and Scotty "HD" Burns took incredible photos. Scott I tell ya what I'm missing, to be in some some crisp photos like those..... at least one for the new avitar. What does "SD" and "HD" stand for? "Shallow dive" and "hard deployment" ?
-
Matt once again post card quality! Its nice to see the Texas professors. What Tony suit is black & blue flying?
-
I read that the suit and more details will be available at Z-flock,n dock'n but for the rest of us that won't be able to attend,...... can anyone give us any info, leak details, design philosophy etc that may lead to early purchases. And please no wiseguy comments that you believe the suit is maximized for flocking we will take that as a givin. I am asking on behalf of others not myself. For the record I am utterly pleased with my V2.

the numbers they post on those suits are numbers anyone in a modern suit would envy. There must be a reason for that. It can't be their experience. It can't be their currency. It can't be their modern gear. It must be something else. What do you think it is? t I don't know the gentlemen in question but could it be that they are lieing through their teeth? Hey, they are not BMIs by any chance,.... are they?

Wing suit flyer.. Height 6`6 feet – Weight 160 Pounds
VectorBoy replied to medusa's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Listen Mic, Micalobe, Jarno or whatever, you are right its about that undescribable feeling and not numbers, but one more post like that and 50% of out viewers will quit the WS and take up skysurfing. So keep that hasselove to yourself and the rest of your "frankie goes to hollywood" posse. -
Nope they like fisting, or if its an extreme case they like "hand washing". Sometimes with a little wrist and forearm.

Yeah def don't tell him he needs a degree in math there are way to many professors from texas around this place, as it is. -
Ahhhh, Charcoal hyrogliphs on walls......so easy a caveman could do it.

Trim it, get rid of it. This was a public service announcement from swedishcelt. A public service would be if you offered to do the trimming. Sounds like you are just complaining without doing any of the dirty work. The stuff grows like bamboo, you can actually watch the progress. " we gonna nee mo waxsss"!

I agree! Any little punk now thinks he is bad ass with that greased up ridge hawk. Mohawk it or don't hawk it - but the combover now that is just "I'm too sexy for my........."

I was thinking that it is not a good name ...especially if it is used for BASE...but then again BASE jumpers have a dark sense of humor. Kris. I thought it was a joke based on the name.

I only mention it because somebody with an all black v2( w black stitching) was teasing me about the white stiching on mine. Until then I never even noticed and didn't think it was important. My S3 had the same. But if its important enough for a GPS pouch then it must be for a wingsuit also. I love my westcoast signature series, limited edition Vampire. Order yours today, operators are standing by.

Getting out at 7K due to ATC alti hold, 2miles from the DZ and still making it back, in my V2 of course, in fact past the DZ.
-
Robi you used white stitching on my purple and black V2, does that mean you don't love me?
-
I figured the wider legs of some suits really benefit from a stringer or two down the center to keep the trailing edge from flapping. I believe that the matter 2 could have used this instead of a bigger inlet. I don't think full rib profile sections are required just something longitudinal.
-
Get a hot small girl that knows how to fly a wingsuit really well!? If I had a hot small girl I wouldn't take her anywhere near the DZ. She would stay in my dungeon where she belonged.
-
Did you leave a center one in the leg wing or all they all gone? Does the leg flap without the stiffeners when maxed?
-
This is a very nice video. And those new suits are purdy.
-
I see it as the other three failed their part of the hybrid attempt.
-
Why did you pick lost prarie?
-
Dude, those selections are obtuse.
