When I was young, a local cropduster pilot owned a P-51 and an F-4U. I wanted sooo bad as a 12 year old to go up with him, but never had the chance. Sadly, he sold both in the late 70's. Hopefully soon, I will get my chance.......

What type of job are you interested after you gain the proper amount of hours? Offshore? My best friend flies for PHI off-shore in the Gulf of Mexico... He's in an S-92 right now, but also S-76 qualed.

When a married person offers a single person a trip
Beerlight replied to skymama's topic in The Bonfire
Was she trying to "blind date" the guy with her best friend? Otherwise....I smells a fishy fish! -
Excellent footage and rescue. Kudos to our Navy fliers and rescue crew!! Does this version of the Blackhawk have autopilot with autohover capability? Anyone? I know our Coasties flying out of Ellington here in Houston in their HH-65's do.

When I hear Old Spice, I think of what 60-year-old unshaven shrimpers must smell like, after coming back from two weeks on the boat, with no showers. I don't even know what that really smells like, but for some reason, I envision that. I don't know why. My manager is wayyy up in his 70's. He wears original Old Spice. We smell him before we see him! Hell, I'm middle-aged, but I wear no cologne to work. It's against "my" policy to not pollute my co-workers.
-
Really? I'm fighting the "I'm getting old" thing having turned 30 this year, but have been using Old Spice products for over a decade. Then again I like what is now called "classic scent" which is the original scent. Well, after a hard week, tossing in some Gold Bond powder and some Tiger Balm, I guess I do smell like an old man! Ha, I'm over 40! Maybe I'm being short-sighted, I guess they could've changed the fragrance since my youth when my grandad was wearing it.

I hear Old Spice, and I think OLD. What's their demographic? I sorta like the ads, but never ever would I buy their product.

High Altitude Chamber Training Information
Beerlight replied to NWFlyer's topic in Safety and Training
It's great training (I teach it at our facility in Houston). Although the military chamber units conduct the training on a (when available) basis. The CAMI rep (good friend of mine) will try and have the local military installation put together a course, if enough personnel are in attendance. Usually they like a full chamber (16 students), but have been known to conduct the trng with less. Don DeMuth (aka DJ) at OKC can fill you in. Tell him Buck sent ya! -
Ding ding.... You get partial credit Ok, so what is it? What was it based on? And who made it? It sure looked like a B-52 to me, but I'm no expert and I know the Soviets based a lot of their stuff on our designs. German Baade 152 aka Dresden 152 Was the first German passenger airliner..
