Contact local animal-welfare organizations like your local humane society or otherwise. They will include your dilemma in an email newsletter or something of the sort, and monetary donations from members/supporters, solutions, volunteer-help etc. will surely follow. Great idea! Hopefully, he'll take your suggestion and run with it. HB's are some of the coolest little creatures out there and are only trying to make their way home. Help the little guys out is a kind thing to do....

QuoteI just checked my work email and a mass email was sent out saying 78 people should be sent home due to being 1-3 months late on their PPD. This is a list from May to Jun and they are sending the Aug-Sept later today. Quote So, it wasn't saying the results of their PPD, just they were overdue? If so, no privacy act issues involved. NOW, if the list displayed a positive result or something like that...oh yep HIPPA violation bigtime.

Excellent!! You had a great summer!

Am I a snob to be annoyed at "indoor skydiving"?
Beerlight replied to quesera's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I feel the same way when a skydiver calls themselves a pilot. They aren't flying the damn plane.... But seriously, it's nothing to get worked up about. Some things aren't worth the worry, ya know? I'm a wingsuit pilot. I AM the aircraft... Yes, you are a wingsuit pilot. Agreed. -

Do it! DONE!! Good luck!! I hope you get your baby soon!! And you, yours! I'll keep my eyes open for an Ercoupe down my way. If you take this post and skymamas post and get them confused . . . it makes for some funny assumptions.

Fun plane to fly. Although 10,700 is a lot of hours. From things I have seen a plane can look great with a nice paint job but once I start diggin when I do an annual you will be surprised at the stuff I can find wrong. Get a pre-buy inspection done! Make sure all service bulletins and AD's are complied with. Time on engine, compression checks and stuff will al be done at that time. Are you gonna be a new pilot or student? I hear ya. I'm definitely having a pre-purchase inspection but still the TTSN on the frame keeps me thinking, plus it's been a trainer for most of it's life. No, I'm not a new pilot, been flying for over 20 years, but just f'n finally getting around to buying my own Thanks for the advice, appreciate all your info. I may just hold on this one, there are PLENTY of planes for sale these days with the economy sucking. Most of my time is in C182's, and may just fork over the additional cash for one....

Is this a one time comment, or something that's occurring on a regular basis? Something drastic happen to provoke such a crazy statement?

Now that shits funny right there

Do it! That looks is so nice. Stands out well... Now that, would make it worth it right there. I've flown a Grumman, same deal, pull the canopy back, enjoy the wind in your hair

I've flown my fair share of planes, but never an Ercoupe. Would love to someday, they are so unique. I ran your N# through a database, and it didn't turn up a name. Although the N# could've been changed. If it's still in your area, maybe you can locate?!!

But....do you like it battered?

Most definitely will use an independent for an inspection. Thanks. The market is so soft now, plenty of great deals out there.

Thanks Paul... It's coming up on an annual in Oct. Engine has 197 SMOH. Was an IFR trainer for many years, based in Houston. Have to make a run through the logbooks this weekend and see if anything jumps out. Appreciate your advice........

I'm looking at a potential purchase of a 1976 Piper Warrior II, but it has 10,700 hrs TTAF. Plane looks in fantastic shape though... Is there a life limit or total time limit on the wing and/or structure? I'm early in the research, thought I'd check here first, go to Piper next. Thanks....

Yesterday, while a bunch of us were tailgating the UT v. Rice game. Cops came by hours after the game was over. Asked us to leave NOW! Something about noise, err sumthin like that.

Read the book "Fighter Pilot" about Robin Olds. In it he described at the end of WWII at his airfield in Germany, how literally hundreds of "new" P-51's (less than 5 hours on the airframe!) were scrapped.
