Definately finger lickin good, and simple. Start it early, not too much last minute prep. Chicken Cacciatore for 4 Pan fry enough chicken pieces for your guests. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Chop up: 1 medium onion, slivered. 1 large red and/or yellow pepper (more if you like) 12 white mushrooms sundried tomatoes, about 6 or 8 slices When the chicken is browned, add all the onion, sundried tomato, and about half the peppers and mushrooms. Add: 1/2 cup good wine 3 cups plain tomato sauce 2 cups tomatoes, either canned or fresh doesn't matter 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp basil black pepper to taste 1 bay leaf cayenne pepper to taste, if you want it hot Let it cook, for a couple hours or until nearly ready to serve. Then toss in the rest of the veggies. Serve over noodles of your choice, with parmesian cheese and garlic toast. Yeah, I have several re-occuring dreams, and a couple of them are freaky. I'm not sure what triggers them, probably stress. Wish I could say jumping, but the clouds are low and ugly... So instead we'll be continuing to rebuild the dz clubhouse. It's time to insulate and then start drywalling. I think about my body position. I think about where my handles are. I try and be as aware of my opening as possible. I love watching her open, she's so pretty! Then, watch my heading and airspace. I love that moment, when you trust your equipment but know in your gut that this is a pregnant moment between extremes. I find it very freeing, relaxing, simple. What!? Damn. Feeling your pain, as we're still in the middle of rebuilding our clubhouse. We didn't lose much gear, but a heap of electronics and stuff are toast. And that's so sad for the puppies. And yet US potatoes exported to BC have severly depressed our market, and when the tariffs are lifted in April (or May I can't remember exactly when) will drive the price even lower until the sale price will be below our production price. Hot house produce suffers the same; tomatoes are dumped into our market at shamefully low prices that our local growers can't hope to match and stay afloat. And then the big business retail stores (US and Canadian both) are taking advantage of the retail customer. You wouldn't believe the mark up on some produce. And I won't even BEGIN about softwood. NAFTA hasn't exactly been roses in Canada either. Not looking to start a battle here. Just pointing out the irony that what was supposed to be great for all involved hasn't had the expected results.
