i beg to differ! on my last jump i tried that and it hurt even worse than before! it was horrible. of course, my problem was with my container. i sent it off three days later to altico (its a dolphin) and they changed out the horizontal webbing on the harness (made it an inch longer) and added extra padding to the leg straps. i think its going to make a big difference. i will have it by wednesday so i'll let ya'll know! of course, this doesn't help you students who are forced to use dz gear and can't do anything about the harness sizing...so probably the best plan would be to try tightening the leg straps...i just wanted to point out that it doesn't always help! omri said there is a guy at his dz who rolls up towels and puts them under his jumpsuit to cushion the leg straps. people might laugh at you but you could try it...he says it works... sis I lust for the ultimate rush...

what about dogs? my dogs are weinie dogs and i named one of them "Oscar" (get it?) and the other one "Britches" i named my mom's 2 dogs as well. she has a yorkie i named "Windsor" and a pug i named "Ming." when i was 13, i named our schnauzer "Sebastian" after the brand of hair products by the same name. (hey - i couldn't think of anything and the hairspray bottle was right there!) they don't seem to mind their goofy names... I lust for the ultimate rush...

you'll think maimed if you ever have line dump! I had line dump last September and I got whiplash. The bottom front of my neck was light purple (and I could hardly move my head), my chest strap left a purple streak across my chest, my arms were mostly black,purple,red and yellow all the way from my armpits to my elbows on the inside, and my thighs...well you can imagine what they looked like. I have a round face with chubby cheeks (when I smile, which is a lot) so maybe that's why I like my BH Mindwarp so well! That velvet covered chin strap is the bomb too. I still have my Factory Diver full-face helmet but don't wear it very often, because I like the Mindwarp so much, no matter what kind of jumping I am doing! I tried a new one on at the DZ and liked it, so later I bought one. You can bake them to make them fit you better too and that's another cool feature! Skreamer and I both jump Hornets and love them. I can't remember what size he has, but I have a 170. Packing it is easy (just have to roll the nose and tail) and it flies beautfully. i say that the ugliest canopy around are some old paracommanders i saw at eagle flight last year! yikes! not only are they like, gold, red and brown, and are rounds AND they have big holes cut in them for "steering" purposes. I admire anyone who learned to fly on PC's or T-10s or anything else, but those damn things were freakin' UGLY!! Hugs, Sis I don't want the meaning of life, I want the experience of being alive!

UH, no... I remember back before that though. In fact, I remember when Skreamer first starting posting here and he received a lukewarm welcome. A bunch of folks thought he was possibly some jerk! Well, they were right, but in no time at all, that jerk wormed his way into our cheesy little adrenaline overworked hearts and is now, most definitely, a huge part of this website!! The JM told him that you can land on clouds, take off your main, and jump with a trash bag and make a second jump. I *swear* to you, this kid believed it!! We all went along with it, telling him, YEAH, its true, isn't that cool?! hehe....He was like, WOW! I sure hope somebody told him later that we were pulling his leg. I guess he figured it out or we would have heard about a fatality by now! (Jumper tries to fly with trash bag!! Of course we want newbies around, to keep things fresh, and ask questions, etc. We were all newbies once! What is difficult for us is that with the MAJOR influx of new posters, the texture and content of the forums has changed a lot. You, Michele are just fine to have around. You have valuable things to say, and you don't mind when people like me post non-valuable things about sex drugs and oh, yeah, skydiving!! I don't think we are saying we don't want new people, just that we feel like they are taking over and we miss the company we used to keep. We used to say ALL KINDS of crazy shit on here that would get us blown out of the water if we tried it today! That is what we miss...but as I have said before, things change...we'll handle it. We just don't want them to change for the worse! Nobody got in fights on here. Kinda funny that three of the people who fought recently were old timers...that just goes to show...something...uh...right!
