Through all these posts, we've been asked where we work, why we skydive, etc. So here is one more question, just for curiosity. Who has children and what are their ages? Do they support (if their old enough to form an opinion) your skydiving or does it make them nervous? I have two sons, one who is very supportive, and has done a tandem when I did mine and my other son.....it makes him very nervous! J "Skydive, Pure Adrenalin!"

This has been discussed before but oh well! I've always wanted to "fly"to be up in the sky with the birds and to know freedom. For the sheer joy and freedom and to be honest, to let everyone else know who I really am!! J "The only things you'll ever regret are the ones you were too afraid to try".

One of the worst things....every parents nightmare phone call, to say your son has been in an accident. The rush to the hospital, he's hurt but he will make it. He spent a month there. He suffered some permanent damage, but nothing we can't handle. It took me a long time before I could comfortably answer the phone (if everyone wasn't home) for fear of something having happened. For whatever reason, he was spared.....maybe so that he could be everything he wants to be and go skydiving with his Mom (amongst other endeavors)! And we did! J

I post from home because I am a 'stay at home' young Grandma, watching my new grandson, so his Mommy and Daddy can work! We also don't have to worry about some 'crazy' day care center ignoring or abusing him! Yeah, for me. He is work, but worth it. J "I'd rather be skydiving"

Does the passenger HAVE to be a female? But very cute, what an imagination. J

Hang in there, you beat it before, you can do it again. That had to be devastating news. My thoughts and prayers will be with you while you battle to beat this again and you will. J "Catch your dreams, go skydiving"

I didn't realize that you are the same person, whose web page I thoroughly enjoy! I have read every page, and I thank you! I love reading all your jump stories. J

How terrible. My heart goes out to you. That would be the most difficult to endure. J

Youv'e been here a year and you just now posted 51? How could you stay quiet that long? J Those who do, can't explain; Those who don't can't understand!

You have a lot of questions!! Whew! Most of them can be answered by your DZ, but most of them will be answered here as well. I'm not qualified to answer them, as I am a newbie too. WELCOME! Cool site, huh? A good skydiving dvd is "Good Stuff". There are a couple of good books (for entertainment reading) too, "The Endless Fall" and "Skydivers, flying with their pants on fire". That first jump is a memorable one isn't it? Everytime I hear one of the songs they used in my video, the moment comes back to me. Enjoy the site here, it gets quite interesting. J

Hey thanks, I will have to see what channel that is here and watch it! J

Why would anyone not want to experience the freedom of flight? You should try it, you might be surprised....or become addicted like the rest of us! J

A touch of reality about friends......... When you are sad......... I will get you drunk and help you plot revenge against the scum sucking bastard who made you sad. When you are blue..... I'll try to dislodge whatever is choking you. When you smile.... I'll know you finally got laid. When you are scared.... I will rag you about it every chance I get. When you are worried.... I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to quit whining. When you are confused.... I will use little words to explain it to your dumb ass. When you are sick.... Stay away from me until your well again, I don't want whatever you have. When you fall.... I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass. This is my oath...... I pledge till the end. Why you may ask?..... Because you're my friend.

I thing that is way cool! If my grandchildren, someday wanted to skydive, I would say Go For It! However, I don't think their parents would! Lucky you. Yes, a picture of the Priest's face when asked to bless the rig would be priceless! J

I'm sorry to be laughing Chris, but your remark "OK, this is comforting" was what I would be thinking! Enjoy, you will do fine. J

Thank God, I'm not alone! J

I haven't gotten tired of watching mine yet. I don't watch them as often but the thrill is still there when I do watch it. Of course, then my husband walks in and says "Are you watching that AGAIN?" Geez. Until someone has jumped, they don't understand! Do you find yourself fastforwarding to the DOOR? J
