I had my first done on my 18th birthday. He actually sang "Happy Birthday" as he pressed the needle into my back. I immediately drove to my mutti's work and showed her what I'd done. I never told my father. He didn't see it until...I think two years later by accident. He just shook his head and asked me if I wanted a glass of wine. I don't think he knows about my other one. It's never come up in conversation, and even in my teeny bikini it's hidden so....yea, I don't think he knows about it. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I was "smart" enough to understand tattoos come with a preconceived notion to many. I also understood they are not preferred in a professional environment. Thus, I had both of mine (was actually inked three times, as I added on to my second ((very small)) one the third time) placed in areas that are not noticeable. Only one is noticeable in a teeny bikini. Having said that, to answer your question: No regrets. I don't feel sorrow or disappointment for having my tattoos. I do, however, realize today I would not have another done. And if I'd waited, I'd have none. My advice would not be, "You'll regret it" or "Don't do it." Instead, I'd recommend waiting until you're at least 25. SO much changes and SO fast before that age.

I appreciate it, too. I suppose the difference is after about two seconds of feeling blue about being thought of as a bitch, it occurs to me I'm not supposed to give a shit. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

This taken from what I said before in another thread: "As your mind would likely be unwaivering in this case, such could be true for your friend as well. If you cherish your ability to stay true to yourself and your morals, it might be something to consider to also accept that in your friend. One of my closest friends loves fur. We might never see eye to eye on this subject. But she will buy fur whether she is my friend or not. Thus, I would view it as a great loss, rather than a stand for my beliefs, to loose a friendship over it. Besides, the longer we're friends, the more influence I gain in her life. And she has bought less fur.

I haven't been to Chile, but I was looking at real estate there for shits & giggles. I can not believe what beautiful, luscious land you can buy for so little there--is the same for many places and of course all have their downfalls. But, it makes you think; that's for sure. As for Alaska--one of my all-time favorite vacations! I did an Alaskan cruise. I still talk about it like it was yesterday. Incredible! Be sure to take a sea plane trip through the mountains & do some humpback whale excursions.

When I was a young girl... Seriously, when I was little all I ever talked about was the foreign countries I wanted to visit. My father traveled so many places on business and I was always fascinated. He would always tell me the same thing: I should see my own country first. So one three-month long summer we traveled in a motorcoach around the U.S. I was 13. I saw so many states & gorgeous cities & country. We traveled through record heat, record cold, record drought & record floods in different areas all w/in that small time frame. Probably the best time of my life, and I'm so thankful for it! I'm biased now, but I think many people should do the same.

I DVR'd an episode called "Tuesday". It was OK. I'll have to watch another. I didn't care much for the first character, Sheila, shown in this one--started me off on a bad foot. And perhaps b/c I'm not familiar with the history of the show, there were some idiosyncrasies that weren't as funny or entertaining as they would have been. I must tell you, with all the programming choices, all the books in the store, all the music channels & groups & new artists, I simply can not be relied upon to find the best of everything for myself. You were a little late this time. It's very important you understand I need to be able to rely on my select go-to people for awesome recommendations. I'm counting on you, Krisanne. *Incidentally I'm in the market for a new amazing book recommendation. I enjoy suspense thrillers a great deal. This is a superb opportunity for you. I recently wrote a short story called "The Weed". To sum: We live in a nice area. Local puts house up for rent, which is like, totally taboo. He doesn't hire a landscaping service. Weed grows. Has yellow flower atop. Neighbors are a buzz. It's the talk of the neighborhood. The city is called. Did you know it's illegal to not mow your yard here? Fucking weed!
