    Naturally 7

I have not seen something this cool since Stomp! This group uses no instruments. Everything you hear is their voices! If I'm ever in town when Naturally 7 performs, I'm there! So cool!
  2. Not usually. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  3. Huhmmph. I saw it a few months ago. I rented it purely because of the scene of him with his mum and his trousers. I figured it would be angry-funny. It was OK. I gave it three of five Netflix stars. I am chuffed to bitts about some other movies, though.
  4. I do. Ginsu, who? Me! I am CHOP-in! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  5. Chef Boy-ar-Billy will be working late tonight, so I was forced to chop my own peppers & olives for my muy caliente (just got Rosetta Stone ) Carriopa! salad. Usually, I use a small serrated-edged knife to cut anything & everything. It doesn't cut well. But, it's the right size and it's the one I've always used. There's SO much to chop, though, for my salad and thus I decided to again use the "big boy knife" I always make fun of Billy for using. Oh my gosh! Once again, it is AWESOME! And I've discovered the secret--hold the handle with one hand, then pinch the top of the other end with your middle & index finger and rock it like it's hot. Keep rockin' it. Then, scoot the goodies with said knife into a pile and rock again. It's genius! Done in no time! That is all.
  6. I love it! I e-mail curiosity questions all the time. I get an answer 50% of the time. I LOVE it when I get an answer.
  7. Cirie was behind several of the ideas initially; she just stayed rather quiet after "planting the seed" and let a couple of the others take the credit. I love how she rode the wave others created for her (Again, by no accident. She always placed herself strategically). She always said from her first season and again in this one, "I'll go along with whomever as long as it ain't me." Thus everyone always knew they could "get Cirie on board" when they wanted to pull something, and never thought of her as a threat. In fact, she was nice to have around for that vote. Not to mention she's funny as hell if you pay close enough attention. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  8. We said the same thing! Other than Natalie, we thought all the women looked much better on the island than off. In seasons past, many of the women looked remarkably better on the reunion show, but this year was the total opposite. They had more to eat this season, which obviously helps appearances on the island. There were a couple seasons--makeup or not--it was much preferred seeing the Survivor's on the reunion show with flush faces and rounder cheeks. Sunny, not sure about the eyebrows, but I read a couple years ago there is minimal "primping" done behind-the-scenes, particularly (if not all?) for the women. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  9. Mos' def'! Yuckie! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. I don't find her annoying at all--I realize most of the other Survivors did, you do and Billy did at first, but I don't see it at all. She's smart, does surprisingly well in physical challenges, and she's hilarious. Eliza had the funniest line of the season: "That is NOT the Idol!" "Why not?" "Because it can't be!" "Why?" "Because it's just a fucking stick!" Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  11. Billy couldn't stand Eliza or Parvarti or even Cirie, until I explained why I like them so much. Then he started to appreciate their humor, wit and strategy. I mean, how funny was Parvarti laying out on Exile island? So many Survivors before her bitched and complained about the isolation, etc. Parv had a great time! Cirie has always been my favorite. She has such a fantastic non-in-your-face sense of humor. I love it! Again, the only way this season could have been better, imo, is if Cirie won. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  12. looks to have some of the most spectacular scenery. Jeff Probst on Gabon. I'm excited. Yes, I love the show. I'm tired of seeing old "favorites" come back, though. I'm hoping next season is exclusively "fresh meat".
  13. Best season, ever! It only could have been better--for me--if Cirie won. I'm happy Parv won vs. Amanda. Amanda was annoyingly disingenuous. Parv is what she is and didn't pretend to be otherwise. Parvarti strategized more than Amanda. Amanda had the braun, but was happy to step back and let Parv be the cut-throat brains. Amanda is just as guilty by association. And at least Parvarti is funny. Amanda is one big yawn. I'm just saying...BOR-ING. Ideally, I would have liked to see Eliza and John in the final four with Parv & Cirie. I was sad to see them go too early. That is all. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  14. Oh my gosh (again)! Today was overcast & super-windy. The wind-direction, however, made for fairly flat waters vs. big-ass waves. We knew we'd drift forever down the beach but we didn't care. We have friends every quarter-mile for a few miles if we needed something. We saw fins when we first put the kayak in the water, but only a couple and they were headed against the current. We've had so many amazing kayak adventures, this time I bought a cheapo water-resistant camera...Ugh! The winding, the poor perspective, the sloooooooow sppeeeeeed. Today, dolphins came closer to us than ever before!
  15. Shell, she's gorgeous! Keep us posted.
  16. Same here. It's really a moot idea anyways as I seriously doubt it will ever happen (thank goodness!). Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  17. Yea, that sucks. I mean, I don't jump nearly often enough to say with fervor, but I've seen a few and they suck. I'm just saying. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  18. For a better future for whom? Both sides are dissatisfied with the way some things have been and are motivated to change it. The difference is simply different ideas of "a better future". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  19. It cost me $81 (regular) to fill up from gas light to eff this past weekend--which is $6 more than it cost me a little while ago--and $10 more than that when I bought her originally. I go through an average of 2 tanks/month. If I couldn't have afforded $32 more a month when I bought her, I'd have had no business buying her. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  20. I get what you're saying (and others w/r/t country vs. government). While the two are not "equivalent", however, they are not mutually exclusive--geographically speaking or not. A country can be right or wrong because it's not the geography that drops bombs (whether literal or figurative). I guess you could say it's the country's government but...that's just semantics. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  21. Nope, wasn't fixed yesterday. I was so annoyed, I didn't bother reconstructing my original post... Must not have been that important--which told me something about myself. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  22. I love these guys! Picture a big, muscular guy with a shaved head & a thick Brooklyn accent who's tattooed from head to toe coming to your door: "Yo. I've heard what you've been doing to the dawg. I don't like it. Give 'em here." I love it! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Boobies

Awww! That's the cutest ass I've ever seen. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  24. I don't think so. The people who were against waterboarding before viewing the ad will not likely be desensitized by the Hollywood-like effects. It's just ineffective (imo) as the intended audience will just go on eating their popcorn, as you said. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
