I coudln't agree more! If you re-read what I said...you'll see I didn't say that at all. I said people worrying about others and coming down on them for no reason, other than they are different. Again, not speaking personally. I like to make my own impressions of people, not based on the impressions or hearsay of what other people say. Like I always say, if you're a jerk and you say, "Hey, I'm a jerk, this is me" then we're cool b/c you're honest and genuine and that's great by me. But, if you're a jerk and you pretend to be otherwise, then I don't care much for you. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Not really...just in general...just reading the forums and heard a conversation last weekend, and remember what someone said to me once. I typically don' worry about what people say or do, but when I see things/hear things like this sometimes, and I know that person is a really cool person, it upsets me a bit. I'm not going to repeat the conversation, mention which post, or repeat what someone said to me once. None of it really matters and that would only be gossip for people to analyze and argue with. I don't care much for that Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

As skydivers, we are a VERY small minority in this world of whuffos. So why are some of us so hard on one another for no good reason. Obviously, sometimes people do stupid shit that deserves a good lashing (or spanking in my opinion) but sometimes, I see people worrying too much about others and coming down on them for no reason other than that person is just different or does things differently than them. I'm not speaking from any personal experience, other than the occasional pre-judgement here and there, I'm just speaking in general. A lot of us had lives before we skydived. Obviously now, we can't imagine our lives w/out it but we are still us no matter what we do, I think. I didn't start skydiving until I was 20 (I'm 22 now). That's 20 years of my life that I was Carrie before skydiver Carrie. There were things I was accustomed to that might not be the norm in the skydiving world, but I'm not going to change b/c I started skydiving and that goes for a lot of skydivers. Dont' get me wrong, skydiving changes all our lives, but our core selves will always be us. So long as nothing hinders you from getting all you want out of skydiving then what's wrong w/ diversity on the dropzone. I love that no-one else on the DZ is like me. I love that my best-girl Skymama is different than me in a lot of ways, too. ( and the same in other ways) I love that some people do this, others do that, some dress this way, others dress that way, some have long, dreaded hair, some have pink hair. I LOVE IT. I wouldn't change it for the world. What I don't understand is why some people care so much what other people do, look like, care about, do for a living, or whatever. What does it really matter, so long as we all know that we're a part of something that very few people in the world are a part of? We come from all different backgrounds, all different walks of life. For me, skydiving not only is some kick-ass sport I love to do, but it also gave me a family that I never had. I just don't get it, I guess. If we were all the same and did everything for the same reasons...wouldn't that be kinda boring? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Hmmmm, what's good for my tongue has always been GREAT on my body...sex is the best excercise, after all I hear you about the "years on the hips" thing but that doesn't mean you should NEVER eat it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, eat what you want as long as it's in moderation I doubt if the lovely and tiny MissKriss eats more than one Boca at a time Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I'm with ya, Kristin on the sushi and guacamole! I love avocado's...I usually have the sushi guys substitute cucumber for avacado, too. BZ and I order sushi at LEAST once a week...sometimes twice a week! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

OH, one more thing...I should also mention I was the only girl, in high school who would go to all you can eat wing night on Monday nights with the football team. Yes, I can stick the whole wing in my mouth and pull it out clean as a whistle It drives BZ crazy Also, I too, don't want to live to be TOO old. I just want to help save the earth for the short time I'm here. Who wants to be 90 and not able to do anything anyways? I will drink my beer, eat my greasy fries (as long as I can anyways) and live life to it's fullest. Who wants to spend their life preparing to live old? He heh e....you're sick. I used to LOVE lobster until I heard one scream. I had no idea it was that cruel. I'm not an anti-meat person. I believe in the food chain and I believe humans were meant to eat animals. I just don't think, however, we need a sausage breakfast, hamburger lunch and a steak dinner. Humans require very little meat in their diet each day and even the animal world does not kill for their daily meal, even CLOSE to what humans eat in a day of meat. So, a long time ago, I chose to do my part to make up for other selfish people by not eating it. I have low blood sugar, though, and have to snack all day to maintain energy, etc. and not eating any meat was making me sick (this was in middle school) so by the time high school hit, I started eating chicken and poultry, eggs, nuts (I fricken LOVE nuts) etc. Recently I've had cravings for steak and baby back ribs. I believe your body knows what it needs so I give in when I have a craving but in 11 years, this is the fist time I've craved red meat. I gave in when we were at the people's place I mentioned and ate some slices of roast beef w/ my lunch. It was GOOOOOD. I'm not one to think much about what I eat or analyze shit so like I said, I'm not strict about it and I mind my own business and don't mind what other people choose for themselves, regardless of how I might feel about it. BZ is a steak and potatoes man. It's never bothered me. He only gets shit if he orders it and doens't finish it or at least take it home Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

All this turkey talk has made me hungry. My favorite food is nothing special: CHEESE! I really love cheese and any foods with cheese, like mac-n-cheese, Outback's Alice Spring's chicken and cheese fries, nachos and cheese, mozerella sticks, etc. For desert, also, nothing special, Breyer's Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I also like any ice-cream related things like milk shakes, egg nog, fried ice cream, apple pie ala mode, banana split, etc. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I like when BZ calls me his girl..."and this is my girl." I lovingly refer to him, in all situations as my "boy-toy." I don't think we call each other by name anymore, either...i'ts just "Babe" Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Ehhh, emmm. Just kidding...I'm not really a veg...I was a complete veg for about 5 years and the last 6 years I've eaten some fish and chicken. In the past couple months, I've had a bite of BZ's roast beef .....SANDWICH and a bite of a pork chop. I also ate some roasted beef a couple weeks ago but only b/c the people raise the cows themselves, they have good homes and good lives and then they take one to the butcher only when they're in need of meat. It's all fresh, not processed and they only take one cow every so often when they need meat. It's for a lot of reasons...like I said, I'm not strict about it It's not really a health thing, either. Just a love for animals and their well-being thing. I don't care when someone orders a burger, but if you eat so many fries that you can't finish your cow, then I'll be pissed. At least let the cow's life have counted for something!

Yea, Bob and I were just talking about it actually...subject came up b/c I'm trying to sell a reserve and he said a lot of the main canopies for the movie were reserves and it caused a few problems...won't get into the details b/c don't want to start controversy over what reserve is better, etc. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
