Adding to what Bill said...Saudi Arabia has been a strong ali of the US for many years now. Because of the strong sentiment against them from Americans, recently, regarding the money trail and 9/11 attacker, Saudi Arabia has recently set into action varous reforms, the two main ones being re-evaluating the monies that are donated to their charities (this is where the money trail led to...they said attackers were getting their $$$ from charities) and taking a more aggressive approach to seeking out terrorists, etc. Regardless of whether their government knew it was going on, had an idea and turned a blind eye, or had no clue, I HIGHLY doubt we will go to war with them. They still remain our ali as far as that is concerned. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I'm not saying war is a bad/good thing but.. I've always found it strange that throughout the centuries, our way of life, technologies, etc. have increased so much, yet we still solve our problems in the same, barbaric manner, except with more accurate weapons for more destruction. You'd think with all the changes, advances, etc. we've made, someone would have come up with an alternative to war. I guess some idiots just won't listen to anything else but a torpedo heading for their ass It makes me sad Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Well, I've been to 42 of the 50 states and stayed for a while but I've only lived in FLORIDA! Grew up in Altamonte Springs, Fl, about 15 minutes from Orlando. Moved to Gainesville, Fl for school at UF. Moved to Orlando, Fl when I transfered to UCF. Moved to Atlantic Beach, FL when I transfered, again to UNF. With all those transfers, I still managed to graduate on time! I just can't sit still in school is my problem I still live on Atlantic Beach. I LOVE it here. It's the best place I've lived thus far. I wouldn't change living on the beach for the world so I guess moving to any state that's not on the ocean is out of the question. I LOVE to travel, though And, I'm only 22 and most of you have probably done a lot of your moving in your adult lives. Still, I can't see myself living anywhere but FL. I visited enough states to know what I like Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Not really talking about anyone on here, Lisa, or at the DZ...just in general. Yes, a few comments have been made here, a few at the DZ...that is to be expected. My thoughts were in general, for the most part. As for making of fun of people, hell, I'm at the top of the list, but it's all in good fun, and it's not mean spirited. I was only referring to the mean spirited kind. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

That was my point exactly...I definitely don't think everyone is meant to get along...but I don't think it's cool to put others down for no reason, just b/c they're different than you. EXACTLY! I have yet to see anyone make fun of anyone except out of jealously...not necessarily jealous of whatever they're making fun of, but jealous of the attention or whatever that person is getting b/c of it. I couldn't agree more. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I should also add...I received a concerned PM from a sexy friend. RARELY am I offended at ANYTHING...as Skymama, Jt, Jceman, Rdutch and the rest will tell you...I can talk about ANYTHING openly and nothing offends or embarasses me. The comments weren't about offending me...I understand everyone is different and will judge as they please...I was just shedding some light on the subject. Nothing said offended me...I just didn't understand the mentality behind it. Still don't Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
