Yes....but so are the effects of pregnancy. You don't see the boys getting kicked out of high school, or dropping their college plans in same numbers, or suffering potential death from the experience. Excellent point. I made the mistake of seeing this through my own glasses. I presumed the guy was on the hook. There are many men who duck out and avoid responsibility by appearing unemployed. Alternately, the women don't have the wherewithall to pursue them for support. That leaves the woman on the hook for something the man had a part in. I know this will draw criticism galore ... but this whole thing suggests the biblical / religious admonition to have sex within marriage is good advice. Not a cure-all, certainly. But at least the child follows the committment that way. In the modern world of birth control, it's not nearly as big a deal. But still....much of ancient religious wisdom was about how to live your life and be happy. Honestly, I don't see how we ever hope to raise mentally and emotionally healthy children in today's world of relationships without committment, social programs that make it ok to be unemployed and an attitude that having several children by different people without attempting to raise them is ok. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

I wasn't familiar with her. Found her website. She says she is into adventure sports, but doesn't specify. Truthorfiction.com hasn't verified it. I'm placing her in the category of urban legend. Of course, statistics say that one had to evolve eventually... I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. There's a reason these women are just characters on TV. It's FICTION. If they really existed, nobody would watch TV. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. I miss you guys, but the BB cost too much with Verizon. They were charging me $30 per month for data and I wasn't using it. They said if I had a BB, I had to have the data whether I used it or not. So, I have a regular phone now. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. You don't want to see me dance. I never watched JAG. The concept of a JAG officer who knew which end of the gun goes downrange was too much. Then, I'm told one of them was also a fighter pilot? No dice. The only way to make that show more ridiculous would be to add lots of hot women and pretend they joined the Navy...and then make them smart, hand to hand experts and weapons experts. Most of the JAG officers I know have to walk for their PT test because they can't run without hurting something. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Interesting situation. Brings up all kinds of questions. If she wants the child, she can make him responsible for 18 years of child support. If he wants the child and she conceeds, she could pay for 18 years. He has no financial duty now, but could end up paying much more. She has all the decision authority once he has made his genetic donation. In general, it is a very one-sided situation in favor of the woman. This situation attempts to reverse that typical scenario to see how things go when the shoe is on the other foot. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. I think alot of people on here already know. Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army, Intelligence Corps. Top Secret security clearance. Serving as Executive Officer to the Commanding General, Space and Missile Defense Command. Like I said, it would be odd in the culture I work and live in. OK. I probably should have specified that it is odd in the culture I work and live in. Apparently, just down the road is a different story. :) I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Woah! Should have seen that one coming. I didn't. It was emailed to me by a co-worker. But now that you ask....I wonder what HE was up to? And I posted this because it just struck me as something odd. Odd to have one. More odd to buy one used. More odd still to advertise for a used one. And then there's the whole question of how this person avoided all the English classes I was forced to take as a child. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. I agree that there is great opportunity for abuse. For instance - the police officer says you didn't signal the turn - wrote a ticket - in court, you testify that you did signal. How is his word against yours considered 'beyond a reasonable doubt'? Corroboration would be very helpful and video cameras are definitely helping. Why It's Not a 'Safe Bet' to Believe In God

You're making me pull up old knowledge as well, but it's fun. Agreed and agreed as far as my memory goes. I note that the changes between Nicea and Constantinople are questionable in my view and the canonization was purely by men. God was not invited to my knowledge. Revelations? In and out. Apocrypha? Jesus quoted apocryphal writings. Why were those left out? Ruth? Does not mention God at all. Why is that one in there? My greatest concern continues to be modern misinterpretations of a Jewish text written mostly for Jews, by Jews and in a culture that was lost and resurrected. Thereafter claiming everything arrived in modern times unadulterated is wild. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. You would instinctively think so, but not really. What's the difference between he saw you speed and has the skill to know you were speeding vs. he used an instrument? He could lie either way. It's not like video evidence is required. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Quick. Very quick. I had to vote for boobies. Never dated a diver and I've given up on dating. I'll keep an eye out at the DZ and see if there is any merit to this theory. BTW...Alabama State Troopers are tested quarterly on their ability to tell your speed within a specified margin of error. They are tested at different speeds for both them and the test vehicle. They don't have to use a gun and it will stand in court. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. When I first saw this thread, I wondered who Summer was. I presumed I knew what 'Eve' was a euphamism for. I wondered how many boogies she had been to and how promiscuous she must be that it warranted a poll on dizzy. Then, I remembered the commercial: "Mom, do you ever get that 'not so fresh' feeling?" I think it was the first commercial to start introducing feminine hygien products. I wish they hadn't. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. I can't recall ever seeing the term "closed minded" used to mean anything other than 'doesn't agree with my opinion'. I'm one of the few people I have ever known to actually attempt being open minded. I'm not even particularly ardent in my support of my own existance as an absolute fact. Sure, I believe all you other people exist, but you can't really prove it to me. It could all be a dream, induced by drugs, etc. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. I would recommend building your own. It's fun, easy and gives you much more understanding of the weapon. If you want dual purpose and think one will not do both; build two uppers. I think you are mixing up some things here. The Dead Sea scrolls are Old Testament texts along with some Essene writings and parts of what we know as Apocraphal writings. They generally date from about 100 years before Christ to 100 years after, or thereabouts. Sinaiticus is one early New Testament Manuscript. It was written probably in the 300s. Translators look at the entire textual history including both Sinaiticus and other early texts. Sinaiticus is considered one of the big early three, along with Alexandrinus and Vaticanus. I'm not sure what to make of your 98% comment. I don't know what you are measuring that against. Agreed. I think the NIV relies heavily on Sinaiticus and others. It's explained in the introduction. I haven't read the modern translations straight through in a while. I take some issue with the whole area of apocryphal writings since they were all apocryphal or Torah until the Council of Nicea (with later adjustments). That is when men decided what was the 'word of god'...then changed their minds a few times. My understanding on the Dead Sea Scrolls is that they matched later copies of the books from later (where such artifacts coincided) with great accuracy (98% sticks in my head). Early transcribers were very fastidious about accuracy. In the King James era, however, unified church and state weighed heavily on the translation. Witness: there is no James in the historical writings. Yeshua's (Jesus's) brother was named Yakob (Jacob). The priests who translated the documents decided to re-name the brother after King James. There are a wealth of other examples that make it clear the translations went downhill...starting at least at the Council. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Gubberment doesn't care either way, as long as they get you to cough up some cash. Actually, fines are usually minimal. Ten to twenty dollars in most cases. The real expense is the court costs. Those are often in excess of a hundred dollars. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Moreso that they're translations of translations of tranlations transcribed numerous time of stories told for generations before ever actually being written down. Not to mention each revsion may have been done by one with a personal agenda. Remember the telephone game kids play? The Bible is sorta like that. -

Why don't you? Is it only because of your fear of the "ultimate" consequence? Or does it also have to do with aversion to more immediate consequences? I know how much my mom would nag me. For those reasons and possibly many more. Maybe you're the kind of person that doesn't do things they know is wrong, regardless of what they think they can get away with. Or maybe you use the "How would I feel if this was done to me?" rule, None of this requires religion or belief in any diety... I've done a bit of studying on religion. There is a lot of Judaism that is just good common sense. One of those things is what Christians call The Golden Rule. However, like so much else, it was not translated correctly. The one you know is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Stupid rule. I would have you all give me your money, but I'm clearly not going to give you mine. Stupid rule. Let's try the correct translation: Whatever is harmful to you, do not do to others. Wow! That rule makes good sense. I would not want you stealing from me, so I will not steal from you. And it's easy to follow. It takes no action on my part. It just requires that I 'Live and let live'. Wow! What a common sense philosophy. Learning this bit of information was part of me becoming a libertarian. And it is why I haven't killed you for your wallet. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
