yep, mmmmhmmmm. (it's hard to impersonate slingblade via text) I heard BHO hasn't even READ the Constitution! Part of acting like an adult, or "a man", can involve publicly expressing your distaste. Not towing the line. .jim It is toeing the line. "Toe the line", as in "To adhere to doctrines or rules conscientiously; conform." Not tow, as in tow truck or tow rope. Is this the correct application of the "Patriot Act"?

Agreed. That is my assumption. HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit. -

You are quite welcome. I know what you mean about the prices. I've been holding off ordering a new rear sight for the Remington 511-X bolt action .22 that my dad left me. It costs more than he paid for the rifle. Michelle Obama has no fashion consultant that I know of. Thoughout the campaign she always claimed to have a good sense of fashion and would choose her own outfits. I do agree that she looks like my grandma's couch today. No, it's not. In the case detailed in the link you posted, the woman should have only been taken off the flight. She earned that by throwing the can and using profanity towards the attendent. She obviously couldn't control her kids or her temper. We also don't know the other side of her story. She may well have physically threatened the attendent. In addition to the link Wendy posted, the AC in your car cycles on and off even when you have it turned off. There are several reasons for this, including keeping the compressor lubricated. Even if the A/C was cycled again every time you started the engine, the total number of extra cycles it would go through in the cars life would be insignificant when compared to the number it goes through anyway. Your post does bring to mind something else. The last two vehicles I have owned I purchased new. I have driven them a total of well over 350,000 miles in the last 8 years without any problem with the A/C. Before that it seemed it was a yearly event keeping the A/C working through the summer. Kudos to the manufacturers for the much improved reliability. Yeah, I had trouble figuring it out. I've read the line about a gazillion times and it still doesn't sound like anything naughty. Kids. Cause they kept a terrorist out of their country. So... You're proud of Canada for keeping a "ter'rist!" out of THEIR country, and keeping him in YOUR country... and... that's a "way to go"? .jim Yep. When the only other option is to let him in, I'd say it was the smart move. By the same reasoning, you HAVE to admit that Bush is innocent of all the bad nasty things you seem so fond of accusing him of. Say what??? Canada can deny you access if they don't like the color of your eyes and there is nothing you can do about it. If they say they don't like the color of your eyes but will let you visit if you pay them $2000....then you pay them $2000 or you don't visit. Pretty simple and easy to comprehend. But it is not, by any means, extortion. Seriously, their fur isn't white; that's an optical illusion. In fact, polar bears' fur is neutral translucent; the fur acts like fiber optic threads to focus sunlight on the skin underneath, thereby keeping the bear warm. Polar bears can easily overheat, and frequently when they lay belly-down on the ice, it's to cool themselves down. Well, they need to start laying belly-down longer. You mean the same Al Gore who made a compilation of other people's work and got a Nobel Prize for it? I think we should feed him to the polar bears. One time several years ago. Had no problems and excellent quality. I bought front and rear sights, and a magazine, for a Reminton .22 rifle. Me and my buds used to get kicked out of the pool hall on a regular basis when we were minors, usually for bring our own beer. Got kicked out of school twice. I didn't learn the first time that it doesn't matter if they started it, if you beat up a jock....you get vacation time. Got put out of a couple bars, the last time was for slamming some dumb S.O.B. up against the wall when he threatened the barmaid. He wanted the cops called, so the manager did. It cost him a LOT of money when he decided to fight the disorderly conduct charge. You're not getting into the spirit of it. Let me help you. It's the baseball bats. The world market is GLUTTED with baseball bats. Now it may be the Chinese that are cranking them out, but nobody's sure. And since little league soccer is rapidly replacing little league baseball in popularity in the US, it can't be the Hondurans (who do play a lot of baseball), because they're all too busy getting their backs wet in the Rio Grande so they can camp in Masterrig's back yard. Anyhoo, the more baseball bats there are, the more cuddly seals get their heads bashed in, so there are fewer seals, so there are fewer polar bears. Which causes global warming. Find out why there's a glut of baseball bats and you'll solve global warming. Ah-ha! Now we're getting somewhere! Have you watched a Major League baseball game during the last few years? The bats are being made with a handle so thin that it is the norm to see 3 or 4 shattered bats during a game. The manufacturers must have ramped up production to meet the increased demand, but are turning too many causing a surplus. So global warming is the indirect result of the bat designers. I think I'm on to something. Earth is getting warmer, polar bears are dissappearing. A coincidence? I think not. Polar bears are cold. Very cold. That's why they live in the Arctic regions. These cold bears cool off the air as the winds blow across them. Since there aren't as many polar bears as there used to be, the air is cooled less, hence global warming. Find out why the bears are dissappearing and you'll solve global warming.
