    Did you read the article? The soldiers knew they wouldn't die. I think that many defenders of this practice don't really oppose torture anyway, no matter what form it takes. Skin them alive and make them eat their eyeballs... they deserve it. But what do I know?

    Articles like this are dangerous. If enough people believe that AGW is not happening, we will be fine. The reason the ice caps and glaciers are disappearing is a direct result of Al Gore and the majority of the scientific community sowing doubt in weak minds. Anybody reporting crap like this article should be tortured until they recant. I'm not talking about waterboading either... I mean real torture. It's not too late; ignorance can still save out planet. Get with the program, Professor. But what do I know?

    Try and get your feet under you for your PLF. Landing on your butt can hurt. I've done some horrendus landings with a good PLF, and walked away. Sometimes you just have to land downwind. But what do I know?

    I said "I" won't do it again, and was careful to state that it was "my" experience. I don't care what anybody else does, but thought my experience may be helpful for some. Obviously yours is different. I hope nobody takes it as a recommendation to not use a long bridle with a wingsuit, however, as everything I've read stated the opposite, and in "my" case it was right. But what do I know?

    I borrowed gear with a 6' bridle and jumped it with my SM1. For me, it was not a good idea, and I won't do it again, ever. But what do I know?

    Could have been worse. Good job staying alive. Isn't it funny that in the midst of these kind of events we are thinking about what people will say? Last weekend as I was sliding on my face into a ditch I was thinking, at least I'm behind the buildings so nobody will see this. Unfortunately as I got up I saw the load wating to get on the plane with a perfect view my antics. I'd rather get laughed at than be dead. It's all good. But what do I know?

    No, but I did have this one just a few days ago: A few of us were standing aroung in the parking lot at the dz when I look up and see a guy flying in with a wingsuit. He softly lands on his belly right in the middle of us, then gets up and walks away. Made it look easy. Somebody said: 'Wow, Jeb is gonna be pissed.' But what do I know?
