I seem to be having a battle of wits with an unarmed man. But what do I know?
-
I do have some vids on you tube that are, in fact, quite awesome, (in my own mind.) And no, I'm not one of the "Worlds best Wingsuit pilots," either in the video, or in my own mind, lol. But come on, people make videos to promote wingsuiting and all y'all can do is piss on them? I'm not under any obligation to produce anything, since I applaud ANYTHING that ANYBODY does like this. Folks sitting in their keyboard kingdoms can carp all they want, but unless you've done something better, well, get busy. But what do I know?

I am looking forward to shows produced by the critics on here. No doubt they will be awesome. But what do I know?

I'm looking for a viagra sponsor... But what do I know? -
This sounds like a good idea, but what's up, you don't pay for jump tickets? As a wingsuitor, but not a tandem guy, here is my .01 on the whole issue of tandem wingsuiting: I don't really care if people do it. However, I think it's nuts. I would only do it on top with a cutaway system for the pax, and would never get on the bottom. If a spin gets started, I don't know if anybody could stop it. I don't think I could, but I know I could start one if I tried, (even a little bit!) But what do I know?

To clarify: 2011 USPA SIM: The BSR states 200 jumps and a USPA license are REQUIRED at USPA dropzones. Coaching is RECOMMENDED in the SIM. PS: I recommend it too. But what do I know?

We are even, because I don't know how to flat pack. I'd learn if it didn't take more room in the packing area, and I am used to pro packing in a crowded area. If it was easier, or offered better openings, I'd have tried it, but I don't think it matters much. We should both learn new ways, probably. But what do I know?

What point, that I'm a diehard Yank Tony fan? Guess what sport, I think PF makes awesome suits and if Santa brought me a Vampire, I'd be a happy guy. My point was that dissing anyone with the balls and brains to make a good wingsuit is kind of stupid, particularly by one that has never even tried one. But what do I know?

I guess, but it's a shame to close the door on kids having fun; I mean older ones, like 16 and above. Legal bullshit calls the shots, I get it. My daughter, (remember her?) did static line jumps at 16. I signed the waiver, but only because she convinced me that she knew the risk and wanted to do it anyway. I was not a jumper then, but still would have honored the waiver; I knew that I signed. I was living on my own shortly after turning 17. I don't know who would have signed a waiver for me, lol. But what do I know?

Great video Spot. Sorry for taking the bait. But what do I know?

You win the title "Oracle of Ignorance" with this stupid remark. Try flying a Tony suit before running your mouth, huh? Yes, Robi is a genius, but tell me you can't see the influence Tony has brought to the art of wingsuits! He is a genius too in my book, and it seems that many that once mocked the 'mattress' suit are now flying one. We are blessed to have the great innovators we do, and there is no need to make mean spirited remarks like yours about anyone, especially one that has been and continues to be a huge positive influence to wingsuits. Merry Christmas. I hope Santa brings me an X Bird, and you a life. You talking down about suits you have never flown??? Come on. But what do I know?

Article on landing wingsuit w/o parachute
fasted3 replied to gottabefunky's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Hi Quade, I'm with Stoney on this one. You started that thread in 2002, and in less than ten years, there have been huge advances in wingsuits. Fall rates are possible now that were unheard of in '02. I think it will be done in the next ten years. I'm still leaning toward a water landing. But what do I know? -
Do you sleep on your arm? If so, try a different position. But what do I know?

Some time back I tried to address this problem, and offered my solution. I still think it's a good idea. Here is the thread: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3608467#3608467 But what do I know?

Where did you get this number: 1994 ft.? But what do I know?

Not me. I've never put on my rig without starting with the leg straps, and that's with 3 different models of Tony suits. Also, I think the slippery sleeves are great. I haven't had any trouble with them despite sweaty arms or clothing. I have no dog in the brand wars fight. I like wingsuits, no matter who makes them. But what do I know?
-
Why? Your statement is not very useful without an explination. But what do I know?

I do it and think it's a good idea. I can give it a good inspection, untwist the brakes, and pack with no rush. Carry a big trash bag to put the chute in. But what do I know?

What's your preferred flght time measuring device(s) ?
fasted3 replied to likestojump's topic in Wing Suit Flying
It does record, you can download the data and figure out what happened, pretty much. But what do I know? -
There is a current thread about this: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3327271#3327271 There are more if you search. I don't think it's a good idea. There are no regulations against it that I know of. But what do I know?

Thanks for the warning. You should preface all your posts with this. But what do I know?
