  1. No real idea, but there are 2 popular schools of thought on this matter. 1. That Christians are supposed to go on missions and spread the gospel to them so they can accept Jesus. 2. That God will encompass their religion as well as ours providing them salvation. Do I really know? No, but it really doesnt concern me or my faith one way or the other so I wont lose sleep over it. 2. Ask them how long a day was during the creation process. If they say 24hrs then tell them to reference that to scripture in the Bible itself. Then point out how irrelivent the whole thing is in the grand scheme of things. Muff #5048
  3. Although there may be zero evidence that this happened, there is also zero evidence that it didnt. The Bible goes on about the whole 7 day creation thing, but who's to say what a "day" was in that time? Point being it could be right it could be wrong. Doesnt really matter though does it? I thought the whole foundation of Christianity was that a savior came down and died for the sins of mankind. So what does creation really have to do with anything other than making your head hurt? 4. Ah crap now this thread is going to go to the SC. You should have known better. If a picture of an F-22 raptor goes there what do you think this will do? Muff #5048

  8. Hot brass getting stuck between the toes isnt very fun. Muff #5048

  10. I like how Ron White put it: Muff #5048
  11. It also advocates death and destruction. Muff #5048
  12. You could do what they did on Jackass. Get half of a 55 gal steel drum, fill it about half way with firecrackers/ m80's/ whatever goes boom, roll drum into or in close proximity to victims sleeping area and watch the fun. BTW, it takes a LONG time for 25 gal of firecrackers to go off. Muff #5048
  13. If you do, you'll later regret not being able to skydive. And that will start eating away at your relationship, resulting in dissatisfaction. Then she would no longer be the person that you "truly love". Next thing you know you're getting a divorce, and she's taking you for all the money you've got. And now you can't even afford to buy a new skydiving rig, even though you want one. Screw all that. Just keep on skydiving. Nail on the head. Worthy of being quoted. Muff #5048
  14. Ah the miricles of radiation.... Muff #5048
  15. I reload thousands of rounds every couple of months. More reliable that way. And cheaper. Muff #5048

  17. Not sure about the robbery, but as far as the DEA being a "trained professional" arent most swoopers TRAINED and considered professionals? How many of them have DIED doing what they were "trained" to do. The DEA guy just injured himself. Kinda goes both ways, but I do agree with you that the DEA guy should NEVER have been that complacent with safety specially in a school full of children. Muff #5048
  18. No second strike capability, for one - no way to make the weapon safe short of unloading, for another. Sure there is. Its called KEEPING YOU FINGER OFF THE DAMN TRIGGER. As far as second strike capability I dont quite follow. People have been known to do strange things in stressful, adrenaline heavy situations like addressing a bunch of grade school kids. What can I say? Some people just get careless once they stop having a healthy respect for something. Swooping deaths can also be looked at in this way. Muff #5048
  19. I wouldnt mind having a 38 super built on a 1911 platform, but for almost $3k I can forget about that one for a while. Muff #5048
  20. Gotcha. Very valid point. BTW, I believe (IIRC) the DEA guy in the classroom shot himself with a Glock-22 while holstering. Pretty easy to do if your finger is still in the trigger guard while your holstering the gun. Muff #5048
  21. So because you THINK I dont "appreciate" differing veiwpoints then you wont explain your point of veiw at all? For the record I do "appreciate differing veiwpoints". Even though it won't change where I stand on an issue it will allow me to see where the other guy is coming from. Thats all. Muff #5048
