Actually, there's another couple of choices. You as an individual can choose to abide by the conditions of your employer, or you can seek employment at a place with less strict conditions. For example, my employer sais I cant have a tatoo that covers more than 1/4 of the exposed body part. Does me having a tatoo, in any way, affect my job performance? The answer is "Not one bit", but it's a condition of my employment. So is a zero tolerance drug policy with random testing. Point is I made the choice to take this job AND abide by the policies laid out in my contract. If I didn't like those policies I am free to choose a different place of employment with less strict policies. Muff #5048

I have a PdF Merit which has a logo screen printed on the bottom skin Any idea what sort of ink it was? Or was it a dye? As I said, I'm only familiar with the common heat cured stuff you see from t-shirt shops and such. That doesn't mean there aren't other methods. Somebody else said stick with the manufacturers. That seems like sound advice. I was wondering about this too. Not that I want to do anything to my double diamonds, but it would be an interresting read to understand how it could be done. Muff #5048

So I'm in the market for a new AR. I have a good friend telling me that if I ever want to get into 3gun matches the 2 best at this time are the DPMS 3G!, and the STI AR. What I'm looking for is something I can shoot accurately, yet play in the 3gun game should I feel so inclined. Do any other of you AR OWNERS have any thoughts on this? Should I get a gun thats super accurate, but no good for the 3gun game? Should I buy a gun that was designed for the 3gun game and lose some accuracy? I'm torn, and BTW price is no object in this. Ill jump with pretty much anybody. Looks don't really enter into it. Long as you're safe, and you dont fly your canopy at me I'll jump with you. Edit- And yes, my mother still thinks skyjumping is crazy risky and dangerous, but she still loves me. Muff #5048 -

Just changed my status. Does anyone out there know of a place to stay during the weekend? Also, if I can, is there enyone who could pick me up from the Tampa airport (I know I'm so needy). Anywho, I think my brother will be deployed during the event, so he wont be there to help me with these things. Muff #5048

It is currently -7F, and tonight's forecast is -19F. I'll be happy to trade with anyone who doesn't like the snow they received. How hard is the wind blowing? Global warming my ass. I'm going outside with 2 aerosol cans right now to spray in the air. Muff #5048

I would rather have snow than 8 deg temps with 20knot winds. Its fucking COLD here right now. supposed to get down to 1 deg tonight.... Hope my car starts in the morning. Muff #5048

So I just got my P2 back from Robi. My suit had a defect that needed to be repaired (left side longer than the right). Not only did he repair the suit, he put the more durable rubber booties on it as well. I will also say, publicly, that I was out of line getting ticked at the company (only a few of you reading this will know how ticked). Robi came through for me and now my suit fits like a fucking condom. Again, props to Robi and PF for fixing an issue and delivering me with a superior wingsuit!!!

308....Is this a good cartridge for long range use?

Actually, the Barret .416 is supposed to be the largest, highest speed, most accurate round. Appearantly, this round is least affected by environmental factors, but at $4k for the cheapest gun alone, it isnt what i would call affordable or even practical. Still, badass rifle and round if you ask me. Too bad she didn't do it in a wingsuit. Would have been history in that case. "All you need to land a wingsuit without a parachute is a cab with an open door". Muff #5048

Nope. If you were in Vegas and drunker than shit you would still lose your money if you lost the bet. Never welch on a bet... it's bad karma. If you cant afford to make a bet, dont make it. BTW, still waiting for those boobie pics. Muff #5048

Do you know this person? If not it could just be some dude hard up for cash, however, if you're like me and get drunk and do stoopid shit you may have made that bet. Anyway, my advice is to do what you think is right. The cost of that advice is one boobs pic sent to me via PM. Muff #5048

Alrighty, I jumped my Cobalt 135 7 times this weekend (6 were wingsuit jumps). Im loading this thing at 1.45ish. Openings are nice and soft, but I found the canopy searches a bit before it finds itself. Once open it flies a dream even in line twist (BTW, dont do a half ass pitch in a v-1). The canopy had very good response to even the slightest inputs (ie. me leaning one way to unsip my leg wing produced a signifigant turn in that direction). The flight and flare was an absolute treat! Front riser pressure is negligable up to about a 720. After jumping it I'm totally happy that I bought it. Im not real sure why people "motherfucker" this canopy as my results were well within acceptable considereing it's fully elliptical. BTW, the only reason I had line twists was due to a half-ass pitch on my V-1, but everything worked out. Thanks for all the advice!

(Looking back in logbook) Here we go, jump 20. It was also my first H&P. Yes I about shit my pants on that one, but all went well and cured me of a bit of gear-fear. Muff #5048

Update, My canopy just came in on Saturday at 10:00am local. The only shitty thing about this is that I work night shift, and, if you're anything like me, you have to play with new toys as soon as you get them (yeah I was tired that night). Anywho, the canopy is in excellent condition just like Serg said. Again, props to both Chutingstar and Serg for such an easy transaction and gear in better condition then I expected. Muff #5048 -
Drinking.... A lot. I'm thinking about trying a new recipie my brother told me about. It's called a "black velvet". Appearently you mix 1/2 champaign with 1/2 Guiness. Ill make and try one drink in this configuration. If I like it then... well that may be my drink of the night. If not, then Ill have a bunch of champaign and Guines to consume. Muff #5048

Why do that? If you place a small stone between the and the valve-stem and the cap, you can achieve the same result. Muff #5048
