Are you legal to work in the US? Most DZ's won't or shouldn't hire you if your not. Just showing up at a DZ and setting up to "freelance" will probably just piss off the local vidiots who are trying to make ends meet. Now does that mean that you shouldn't show up, jump with a group and offer to sell them photos depends on who your asking.... However, with the number of people flying camera, and go-pros on every jump and giving their friends the photos and video you might have a hard time selling your work. Just my 0.2

does the red light come on to indicate recording? It sounds like your lights have a short in them.

I tend to agree with you abou the codec. I did install some codec but Im not sure it was klite. Should I try to install klite? I can ftp you a clip and we can go from there. Thanks DSE. Chuck Bryan

let me start by saying, I know enough about computer editing to just get by. I sent DSE an email asking him this question but I thought it might be worth putting out to the forum. The DZ I work at just bought Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9. I loaded it on the computer and tried to edit video captured with my cx100. I had saved the video clips in a folder on my desktop and then imported the video into sony vegas. The clip will import fine but there is no audio with it. I believe they are mpeg files. the files play find when I watch them in windows but there is no audio when the files are in Vegas. Anyone have any ideas what Im doing wrong or how to fix it? Any help would be appreicated. I use an older version of vegas on my laptop and never had this problem with it. Thanks Chuck Bryan

well mine sucks. I got it, it lasted less than 50 jumps (probably 30) and it quite I've emailed and called and no response as of yet. Im glad yours is working out for you though.

"small high frequency shake during freefall" do you mean the camera is shaking or when you watch the video on TV the picture looks like its shaking. I noticed on some tvs when Im watch the raw video I get some strange shake but Im not smart enought to know what it is. However I noticed that after I run the video through the editing program it looks fine. Just wondering if youre noticing the same thing or if you mean camera shake.

Bill because of the blockages in your heart it is possible that your ejection fraction (is a measurement of the percentage of blood leaving your heart each time it contracts) is greatly reduced. Additionally the blockages are causing you to experience the weakness and exhaustion on exertion. The good news is, even at your age one the occluded vessels are opened you should feel expoentially better. Many of the cardiac patient I have worked with said that although they were sore after the procedure they felt like they had 100% better. Hang in there, and be well. Chuck Bryan

My wife will be in Redmond Washington for a week for a class. Are there any YMCA's out there or gyms with pools in that area? Additionally, are there any running trails in Redmond? She'll be staying on 164th ave. She's training for an Ironman and still needs to be able to workout while she's away. Thanks. Chuck Bryan
